About CC Tracker

CC Tracker is a workout-logger app for Convict Conditioning and is intended to be used in conjunction with Paul Wade's book.

Now with export/import feature, workout schedule, and between set rest timer!

If you are into Bodyweight workout using CC, this is THE Convict Conditioning App for you!

Features:
* Log your progress in each of the Big 6 workouts (Pushups, Squat, Pullups, Legraise, Bridge, and Handstand Pushups)

* Uses customizable audio feedback for timing your reps (up/down and pause times) for each of the Big 6.
Helps you keep for example that 2s-1s-2s timing suggested by Paul for Pushups.

* Schedule your workouts, so you always know what exercises are due.

* Check your progress on all 6 workouts on the start screen.

* Use between set rest timer to keep your workouts consistent.

* Export your workouts. Now you can graph your progress in Excel.

* Import workouts. To import keep the file content structure the same as when you export. The exercise names can be anything, as they will be replaced with the ones from the book.

If you want to test the app before purchase, there is also a trial version with limited workout logging. You can now import data from the trial app, so you can seamlessly switch between trial and full version. Just export in the trial version and import in the full version.

Thanks for all the user suggestions. You help making this the best Convict Conditioning app available for Android.

Permissions:
Wake Lock: Is only used while the timer is running to prevent screenlock. Not used otherwise. And if you turn off the timer it is not used at all.
Write to external Storage: For export feature.

Its easy to use and does what I needed. I love the counter. It allows me to focus on the movement and the muscles involved. My only compliant is that the rest timer freezes if I have to switch to another app.

D70%
by D####:

Pretty basic but it doesnt need much, id add photos of each move just like the book has, to save referring to the book to check form etc and a rest timer would be cool but not necessary.

Standout app for rep timers, workout logs, and easy access progression standards. The rest timer used to work but now it doesn't. Other than fixing that, the only suggestion I would add is a short description of the exercises, maybe points to remember about form.

by D####:

Great app, but I can't go to settings with my new phone. Can you fix that problem?

If you are familiar with CC, then you already know what to expect from this app. The best part about this app is its tempo -- a series of beeps that allow you to master the 2/1/2 tempo. 2 seconds down, pause, 2 seconds up. All of the earned progressions are available for display as well.

D70%
by D####:

By far the best convict conditioning application for android. My only suggestion would be a graph mode of how you are progressing with each exercise over time, with intermediary lines for each step.

by D####:

Whilst it would, no doubt, benefit from: directions on each of the steps; an emoticon to log how each workout feels too; and a graph to chart progress - this app is very helpful for cadence in workouts and logging reps and sets. Room for improvement but good, thank you.

Great design, smooth, ability to track the sessions, backup data locally. The ergonomy is fine. U can plan your sessions for the next 4 weeks as u want for each movement individually. Can slightly be improve tho. 5*, hands down!

Compliments the CC series well and is very easy to use. Used to keep a written journal but now its all on the app. The 5 sec timer is also a solid tool to maintain consistent reps and proper tempo.

Manually entering sets is bugged on LG G2, no way to confirm after entering your reps... Allowing the clock to continue while the screen is locked would also be a plus

Z70%

Keeping the slow grind timing, and quick references to your progressions and weak links, helps wonderfully. GTG and strength in the bank techniques keep a consistent advancement, keeping motivation up.

Easy to use and straight forward. Makes it easy to track workouts. Had some problems with figuring out some parts like how to delete or edit a previous entry. It would be nice to just click on the entry to do this.

I love the app, it helps me keep track of my workouts. I do wish that it would let me edit my log though

Doesn't work properly with the LG G4 no menu buttons at the bottom of the screen.

Nothing I couldnt do without...

On my Nexus 4 the rep counter increments after half a rep (one 2-1 count.) Could use more info like the You Are Your Own Gym app and to include the Trifecta from CC2 but more detail might require a license.

Overall useful app for those obsessed with convict conditioning. However, there is one bug and feature required . Bug: if i entered one or two reps and switched to another application (or pressed home button), the data is erased (not kept). The data should be saved when I switch to another application. My Android version is Lollipop. Feature request: please let ability to edit logs. I was also a bit disappointed that it is impossible to import data from CC Tracker Trial to CC Tracker (paid version). Thanks. And one more bug: often when I press on the second work set, it inputs data for the first, when I press on the third work set, it inputs data for the second. I doesn't happen always, but often.

Great app and very useful to track exercise progress and progressions. A very useful addition would be the ability to add extra exercises and progressions for user to customise as per thier goals. Examples might be dips, 1 arm press ups, planks, hollow body hold, ab wheel roll outs etc.

X70%
by X####:

Would be great if a description or picture/vieeo of the exercise accompanied the names for better reference. Also, during some exercises you can't really see the number of reps, so it would be great to have a count out loud say every 5th rep...

I've recently downloaded the app and it looks good. However, I can't find how to get to the preferences on my LG G3 phone.... I can on my Nexus 7 but not on my G3. Can anyone help me?

I can't complain about an app this user friendly. It keeps me at the right pace while I focus on the exercises. Still getting to know it, but so far so good.

The app is very very good at what it does. If you're only training the big six then this is the only app you'll ever need. However, i would love to see CC2 added on here and the variants. This would truly make it an app worthy of CC.

Decent app. Not much to it. Would be better if it had the newer cc exercises.

Very accurate and visually motivating companion to the convict conditioning book, good solid program, took me only a few minutes to learn. You can even schedule exercises for different days, so able to create custom workouts. At the moment i schedule pressups and pullups twice a week together and between i have squats. Although you cant add exercises to the planner, you *can* edit the csv file that the log exports as (i add deadlifts for example), it just wont show up in the app itself. 5 stars well earned.

I like the app, and would say, try the Demo Version, and buy it is it suits you.. I also have a few suggestions for improvement: 1. On the start screen, Dim the exercises that you haven't done yet today - they will still show the colored progress bar, but that way you can see which ones you still have left to do today. 2. I think that you should include an animated silhouette tat shows you the exercise for the particular step that you are on. For example, if you are doing incline push-ups, have a 3 to 5 step animated silhouette that gives you a little bit of a reminder demonstration of the exercise. 3. In the log add a graph that shows you your progress on each exercise in a nice visual presentation. 4. Maybe have an option in the menu to add a 7th exercise or just a Weight Goal. So, you could enter your height, starting weight, and target weight, and it could use the standard BMI to have a color for it.

It's a good app to keep track of your cc 1 workout. But I would like to see a few improvements. Since I'm combining everything from cc 2 also, I would like to see the ability to track those aswell. Also the ability to track more than 3 sets would be nice, like for example, to include your warmup sets you do with the previous steps in the big 6 sequences. Also maybe a note section on the workouts to write some notes after your workout. Definitely a 5 star if you add these possibility!

Includes log, timer, and scheduling. Only request is customization, or add in the ancillary work from CC2 (would buy again as new app with CC2 options added in!).

I believe that this app has tremendous potential, but I can not find the settings button to be able to set a schedule, or set a Set Rest Timer. On the Google Play Store it shows that there is such a settings menu, but until someone can either explain to me where that button is, or why the version for my Samsung Galaxy s5 sport doesn't have one then I am giving this app a 3 out of 5 for good intentions, and good effort.

Great app for following along with your Convict Conditioning workouts.

Not clear on how to set up scheduling. Additional reps arent carried into next set automatically. Clear instrucrions required

U70%

Simple and effective does what it should. Only thing I'd say is, there should be more clearer explanation about the beeps. When rep starts and when it ends.

Love this app. Makes it very easy to keep track of progress :-). Only thing I would suggest is some form of picture for each exercise progression.

M70%

This is an ok app for recording our convict conditioning training. Would highly recommend if it didn't lock you into a set number of sets. Please update to allow more sets. Add this and it'll be a five star app. CC2 app would be great too.
