The Great War Stories interactive map app, specially commissioned as part of the Bristol 2014 First World War centenary programme, pinpoints the locations of over 100 fascinating stories associated with the war in Bristol, including urban myths and wild rumours, as well as a wealth of facts and figures.
Simply click on a pin to open up the story text.
There are also suggested walking routes to connect some of the locations and a link to information on all of the upcoming events taking place in Bristol to mark the war’s centenary.
Thanks to the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, the map app is provided free of charge.

I am now able to see stories which are very interesting. The app is a bit unstable though. UPDATE: Sometimes I only see 'undefined' instead of stories when I click on the markers...

Working well on my Nexus 7. Maps etc. seem to be fine. It's going to take quite a while to work through the many fascinating stories.
