FXR WiFi fix and rescue

I had been having 2 problems with wifi. Saying it was connected when it wasn't and having to go into airplane mode and out again to fix. Wifi randomly turning itself off, and unable to turn back on without restart. I downloaded and used this app 2 days ago, and have had neither problem since Thank you very much

My oneplus one was going wonky on its wifi (not connecting, only uploading when connected). Saw this app on a forum and tried it out. Deactivated and deactivated my profiles, erased my saved wifi networks, but ultimately resolved the wifi issue after it did its thing and asked me to reboot. Really quick and pretty easy.

I got this app thinking it would fix my wifi cause before I got it my wifi wouldn't connect but there was a grey icon and after I used it now when I turn on the wifi it won't even show the icon anymore. It totally BROKE my wifi!!! And now I am uninstalling and I even have a bigger problem now!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR NOTHING BUT BREAKING MY WIFI!! Not even worth a star!!!

All of a sudden,WiFi on my moto g(first gen) stopped detecting network. Broke my head all evening to get it fixed. Then a friend of mine referred this app to me. And what can I say.. Problem solved in a mins time.. Thank u so much!

I changed my droid name just like bluetooth name. So my wifi was ballsed up. This app fixed it big time. Tried other apps that did not work but this one is the cats knackers. Please read before giving bad feedback as they dont promise they can help.

Downloaded this app on my OnePlus One. My WiFi would show my network was saved and secured but would lose connection and not reconnect when I would leave the network. Had to switch on airplane mode to get it to reconnect. After do loading this, WiFi is fixed! Also, it seems like my battery life is better and there are 2 annoying glitches it seems like ha e since been fixed. This app is nothing short of amazing!

My wifi kept dropping out and was painfully slugish on my se xperia arc after upgrading to android 4. Tried everything but the only thing that solved my problem was this simple little app. thanks for making my life easier again. Top marks.

App does exactly what it says, had almost but all given up on getting wifi working on my galaxy s5, it just would not detect any networks when scanning; but after running this app and restarting my phone all was back to normal.

It actually seems to have worked. Wifi was getting constantly dropped with a "authentication" error. Sometimes forcing me to re-enter my key or turn wifi off and on. Been 2 hours and no drops. Was happening every few minutes before so I'm guessing its fixed. Would have loved to have bought you a coffee dev. Thank you.

Its nothing but true magic. I had lost all hope and was planning to take my note to the service centre, when I came across this app suggested by everyone on the net. And it worked amazingly. Thanks guys for creating this awesome tool.

It is sucks.. I thought it will success... first I rate this 5 stars because it help me fix my wifi FOR A WHILE.. and my wifi back to the problem.. cant connect n not in range. . The wifi is on.. still stuck on this problem.. anyone got solution?

My wifi never connected automatically to the spots it connected and remembered previously...even at home. So every time i had to input passwords manually. I was about to make a hard reset and send it to the support. BUT this app is a Miracle! It fixed the issue at once. Big thank to developpers! Strongly recommend!

I was skeptical of this app working as my wifi was dropping constantly only with my home router, so I thought it was just a router problem. My home router is the only wireless N router I connect to but no other devices at home had this problem. This app has fixed my problem and its been at least a day since I used it with not a single signal drop. Thanks very much

There was a network where my phone got stuck 'obtaining ip address'. I tried a couple suggestions from the Internet without success. I ran this app and rebooted. I was able to connect to all networks. It will clobber all remembered networks and must reenter passwords. It was worth it.

My wifi showed connected with strong signal, but the browsers were painfully low and crashing. Other devices connected to the same network were perfectly fine. Network games were crashing all the tim as well on my Galaxy S Plus. Then I found this little handy-dandy app and everything was instantly fixed. Where can I donate? :)

That's all it does. Didn't fix my problem and I had to re enter all pw. The button to report that it has not been fixed brings up a dialog that's half out of the screen and therefore useless

Thanks so much! I used to have a problem on my s6 edge where it would go in a continuous bootloop when near an unsecured network. I can't believe that this app fixed it.

Been having trouble staying connected to my mobile wifi, and i'm close to reformatting my samsung note 3. Ran this app this morning, and i'm just so glad that my wifi connection is now stable. :) - correction : i just got disconnected again

Thank you so much! My phone couldn't hold a connection longer than 20 seconds, and it wouldn't even try again unless I switched wifi off and back on first. Very tiresome, and pointless because it would only last a couple of seconds anyway. But not anymore!

Wifi would appear to be on after phone sleep, but it didn't really work. It required manual wifi turn off and then on. The app worked like magic. It took a bit of time, maybe 20 seconds, but my wifi is now working as it should.

I used to get a msg 'Error" while trying to connect Wi-Fi. This app fixed it cleanly and Wi-Fi was up and running. After 1 hour the problem resurfaced. Not sure if I can say it really fixes the problem. Others also seem to have same problem.

I tried so many ways to fix my wifi. All it was saying saved,secured. I even did factory reset but nothing happened. This app fixed my wifi problem. Tysm. :) i m so happy.

The first time through the yellow bar stopped and it had to be force closed. On reboot it ran again and announced my wifi was fixed but it still says "disabled" next to the connection. I didn't want to give a "1" because no harm was done, but it didn't work for me.

I was having an issue on my Galaxy S4 where, once it disconnected from wifi, it could not reconnect without first resetting the phone. This would happen for any wireless connection I tried and was going on for months. This app fixed it on the first try! I'm amazed and very grateful to the developer. Thank you!

As a reviewer above said, it looks like it's doing something and then finishes the scan/report/fix without giving you any update. And more importantly didn't fix a single thing.

Galaxy S4 - For some reason my wifi was connected but it was the only device on my network that was having issue. Pages would load slowly, occasionally not at all. Videos did not load or were extremely on/off when loading. I tried static ip, power cycling the router, etc etc. As a last resort I tried this. I don't know what it found but it's working well now!

Had tried everything wifi worked elsewhere but not at home no idea why nobody could give me any answers and I was about 5 seconds from factory reset when I decided to try it, took 1 minute and the wifi is working perfect faster then ever actually recommend this app to anyone who gets the (failed to obtain ip address or ap not in use ) messages

Worked! How I don't know but since upgrading to Lollipop my wifi kept dropping. Now no problems.

Worked initially. But my phone has an inherrant problem and returns to a week signal. Tried running again and no longer works.

I had some massive issues with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 not auto logging me into my favorite WiFi spot's. This resulted in excessive data being used when I didn't want that to happen. This app was the ONLY one of many that was able to fix my issue. I was unable to manually forget any spots that I suspected of causing the issue. This app was awesome and took care of the problem from day one of using it. I'm very impressed!

Not sure what is happening with this app. The progress bar gets to the point where it is "deleting and reading profiles" and doesn't move beyond it. I have tried multiple times and it gets hung up at the same spot for 10+ minutes.

My galaxy s5 for some reason was not connecting to my wifi. It kept reading "obtaining ip address" I at first downloaded wifi fix and with many tries to fix it with this horrible app there was no success. I then downloaded this wonderful app and after the FIRST run/scan the app told me to restart my phone. I now have wifi and works like it should! Thank you! Saves me a lot on data.

After an incremental update during the 4.4.4 period, my wifi stopped connecting to familiar networks. This app resolved the issue completely, and saved me from a huge headache. Definitely keeping this one in the toolbox.

I tried removing my wifi, disabling and enabling the wifi power saver feature. I tried messing with my router settings, even updated my router firmware. I exhausted all options before a factory reset. Then I came across this little app, tried to repair feature, rebooted my phone, it works flawlessly!

I would connect to my wi-fi network at home and sometimes it would kick me off in less than a minute forcing me to use 3G which is slow and expensive especially when updating apps. After using this app everything seems to be going smooth and my X is much faster on wi-fi. I will report back if I have any problems but for 10 hrs now it's been smooth sailing which was unheard of before now. Thanks for a great app!

I have used FXR WiFi fix and rescue not to fix my network but the erase a 3 km long list of wifi profiles i have used along of the years. I am traveling a lot and there were network profiles there i haven't used in about one year and they were just sitting there cluttering my list .Since my phone is not routed trying to use the Terminal app. with the command # rm -rf /data/misc/wifi && reboot did not work.. so i had to use this one.. Somehow it did it...
