Despite what some reviews claim, the app does provide most of the website functionality, including managing holds, etc. Major issues I have with the include that it's by far the slowest thing on my phone, and the "barcode for scanning" always shows up sideways so it doesn't actually fit where you can scan it at the kiosks in the libraries.

Doesn't do what it is suppose to do...

Absolutely love this app.

The app is really easy to use

Keeps kicking me to log-in page when I try to do things, whether searching or renewing. Very slow. Renewing is a book by book multi-step nightmare. The only thing it does fairly well is to search for titles and place holds. It doesn't even remember log-in data properly.

Does not work properly, if at all.

It does mostly what I need it to, but it's SUPER slow when I'm doing anything inside my account. To renew books, it takes I would guess a full minute for each one, loading and processing the request, etc. and you can only renew one at a time. The other thing that's less than ideal is that the search function is really touchy, it will only show results if the query matches EXACTLY (including punctuation like apostrophes, etc.) It's good to have at my fingertips, but working through the website is easier.

I tried to change it so it wouldn't remember my login information but when I attempted to log in it showed "authentication fail". Something is definately wrong.

I dont know whats going on lately with this app. But its asking me to sign in multiple times before i get anywhere. It takes forever to open once i do sign in,and now says cant connect to server...It wasnt always the quickest or best. But now it just managed to get even worst...bummer

Extremely poor functionality. So very slow or unresponsive.

I tried renewing them from the app but the confirmation wouldn't go through. It worked just fine on the website. What is the issue?

Ever since the storms started and the app had to get some maintenance done on it, I am unable to submit my card and pin number to access my account. Either to check the status of holds and renew items or to place items on hold.

I got this just to borrow books from them on the kindle, but it turns out you have to get another app to get the books to download. Very disappointed

Enjoy the app. Very helpful in managing my checkouts. But still has the bug where cannot renew items. Need this function fixed please?

The app is really easy to use

The app does not perform many functions users need/get from the website, such as managing items on hold.

I renewed several books and it shows them as renewed. I received an item due reminder, went online and it shows my books I renewed with app as due. Somehow the app and the online info are not synched. Also says I have 2 items on hold but I only have one item on hold.

Only downloads to overdrive, overdrive doesn't support pdf files. These pdf files can't be deleted because they can't be downloaded.

but. If I set the phone down and the screen goes horizontal when I pick it up the app goes back to the main menu every time. It's pretty irritating when I'm in the account menu to have to muddle back to it. HTC Inspire.

It does what its built for, but its so slow and doesn't act 100% correctly unfortunately. So its for 2.

Cannot place items on hold/reserve.

Usually is great, but frequently is inaccurate regarding my account status (checkouts, items due)!

So convenient to look at the catalog, place holds, have holds sent to my closest library, and even renew my checked items. I love this app. Never seen any issues with it.

Works well. Dev responds quickly and is working on a sync platform with Overdrive console so you don't need to reverify credentials from within PPLD app. Use it a LOT.

I love the app, I keep track of everything

This works perfect on my HTC Amaze. I'm impressed how quick this is. No errors. Real solid app. Congrats developers on a job well done. Real nice.
