Multnomah County Library

The app is glitchy. Sometimes it takes forever to open. Also it loops back to the sign in page after already doing that. So when I'm trying to open a book in overdrive it kicks me back to the log in, usually twice, sometimes more. Also there is no way to return an overdrive book once I'm done reading it. So it just stays checked out till the due date. Which is stupid if other people are waiting to check it out.

Its like two apps in one but neither work properly. I have the "new" version of the app but it always defaults to the old version when I open it. That is weird, and the old version is slow as molasses. Sometimes I can manage to get the new version running if I'm lucky. This app is a mess but has potential. Please fix it!

Not bad, but honestly the library's website seems to work better on my phone than this app, so there is really no need to use the app.

Search engine does not work correctly and that's putting it nicely.

Ugly as sin but useful and intuitive

This app has permission to use the camera for no reason. However, with Android 6.0 you can deny it access to your camera. However number two, the app still sucks for multiple other reasons.

Great location, good parking, always something to please my reader's eye.

I love this ap, and use it nearly daily. I appreciate the fine tunings.

This app always logs me out. I see how that would be a good safety precaution, but it's my phone... also, it would be really helpful if it sent a message or alarm to you when books are about to be overdue.

Very powerful app allows me to do almost anything I can do from the full website. One bug though: often force closes when I switch orientation from portrait to landscape or vice versa.

I've been using this forever. It's a great app when it works and utterly useless when it doesn't which is way too often. I guess since it's the only option the developers aren't all that concerned about improving the app but I would happily pay for something stable and reliable.

This is one of the most useful apps on my phone, but as someone stated earlier, it does not include the entire MCL catalog. I would definitely rate it 5 stars if it did!

The app is easier to check my account, put items on hold, and browse the database than the web version! Brava!

The app works well but has a slow interface. I would like to see where it can remember your card number so u dont have to put it in everytime

You can NOT access the entire library catalog with this app. Try a search at the library or via the web... then try the same search with this app. For example, search for "The Great Courses". You'll see. This is not the full Multnomah County Library Catalog, as described above. This is the "Boopsie" version. That being said... this app still has worth and potential. I use it often. [Note: Thanks for adding the "renew all" option recently! :) Much appreciated]

No problems on droid x. Holds placed efficiently, info readily available and speedy. UI is fine. Can't please everybody no matter how it looks.

What a great app! First time using it I found what I was after and put a hold on it. Love it!

Why does this app need full access to camera?

This app lets me find books, renew them and explore other reading ideas. Great stuff, once again, from our Multnomah County Library.

I just love the chance to wander the selves and find hidden gems. Goes great with your favorite brew too!
