BookCheck Mobile Checkout saves you time at the library. When you find an item you want, scan the barcode with your mobile device. The correct barcode is on a label that says “Champaign Public Library,” on the item’s cover. (Note: A rental fee is charged when you scan a rental item.) Make a quick stop at our Mobile Checkout station to complete your checkout.
Downloadable eBooks and audiobooks are available through My Media Mall. To use them, you’ll need free software or a free app. Contact the library or visit champaign.org/downloadables for details.

Once again, the Champaign Public Library is a step ahead. This app brings library business to the smartphone era with effortless catalog searches, request control, and renewal and inventory of checked out items. It even can keep you up to date with library events and reccomendations. The library has given me another reason to love them, and the ability to do it anywhere with a signal. I'm addicted to my phone and will definitely handle all my library business like this from now on.

This little app is super convenient. I love the barcode scan, easy renewal system, and digital library. However, it would be way easier to login with my login name instead of the barcode. It's not very convenient to have to fish for my library card when I want to use the app.

This app doesn't work. It is hard to find books by title, then you can't request them. Now I find I can't even renew books through it! My browser works better.

Clunky, but highly functional. A quicker and more modern-looking interface would be appreciated.
