Doesn't work with galaxy phones.

There is no flashcard app to use. What's installed is an ad model with runs a flashcard then vectors to an ad to upgrade. Every few clicks you get the upgrade ad so impossible to use what gets installed. The search function brought up random things when using search for English or Pin Yin entries. The demo only has 18 flashcards in two sets. Is that all or are there more in the pro version? There are much better free apps on the net like a few available from Univ of Maine.

But useful words and well presented. Worth downloading for sure.

M70%

The amount of words is very limited. Three bucks is a lot for a hundred more words you won't use consistently.

It was so nice

Just 12 words in a category really is not enough I can't tell about the paid version but being that stingy with words makes me not want to pursue further. Also there does not seem to be a real training mode so the app does a worse job then good old flashcard learning (paper) also your active memory isn't schooled which could be done through voice recognition or text input / panting the characters. All in all little functionality for those who are serious.

No traditional characters. Lists too small.

Everyone I advise u not to waste ur money for the pro version on this lousy app. As a Chinese, I know the pronunciation is not fluent enough and the speed of reading is too fast so find some other better app than this.

I think this is excellent! I just wish you could shuffle the cards.. so I didn't feel like I was just memorizing the places the words were in.

Even this is a free app, this still contains many Chinese words enough for basic learning. Beautiful flashcard UI with attractive animation and lots of useful functions. Better than other flashcard apps I used before. Help me improve my Chinese knowledge and school results. Most of my friends also using this app to study Chinese words. You guys have done a great job to helped lots of people. Wish you keep having others good apps. I am looking forward to using them!

Flashcards helped a lot in memorizing Chinese words easily. I can also test myself about Chinese words by changing the card faces. I also can share my learning progress to my friends in facebook and twitter. The search function also very useful and fast in returning correct words. The basic short words are also good for new learner to start learning Chinese. This app is good for any Chinese learner and better than other similar apps in Google Play!

It's good for beginners, but it does need more vocabulary :)

There are not enough words in this app for the search tool to be useful, might as well get a real dictionary app or use a website. When practicing using the flashcards the app has no special features like a points system to prioritize cards you have trouble with and it can't even mix cards from different categories like Greetings, Eating, etc. All you can do is flip through cards, in sequence, from one category at a time. If you add a bunch of cards to favorites then you can get a mix of cards from different categories but you can't switch between different mixes without having to redo a lot of manual work of adding/removing favorites one by one. The font of the Chinese symbols is so stylized that many symbols are hard to recognize for a beginner/student used to websites, dictionaries and books. Some might prefer this stylized design with different line thickness and angles but it's unfortunate that one can't choose to toggle a more typical web/computer font. There's not a lot of free content, no pictures and most notably the sounds are just Google Text-To-Speech which is both surprising and unimpressive and makes you wonder what in the app you're really paying for.

It took me a while to get started on this application. Because it's so efficient I'm so sorry I waited so long to use it. The flash cards are very easy to use and it has a testing unit within it which helps me to know if, for sure, I know the pinyin word, as well as the characters. Thank you
