CarlTune - Chromatic Tuner

Has some difficulty analyzing my violin's G string... And I'm still giving it 5 stars. Love this app.

Nice app... and very easy to use...

I love that it shows both the meter and the staff. I use hit for singing, and it does get confused by the overtones of vibrato sometimes, but I find it generally helpful. It would great to have a way of adjusting for voice, but right now it's the best I've used.

Great tool for finding my tune. Using it to convert my voice into notes.

Its simple to use and it works well.

Its a very good app for tuning any string instrument! I use it extensively. The interface is a bit complicated in the initial user, however once you get used to it, it's pretty Ok. The app let's you tune your instrument to all possible octaves.

Do you guy's know if it works well for the cello? My old app was not very good, and my orchestra teacher suggested that I get a new one. Please let me know soon

Old version used to tune my kalimba. Could make beautiful music once again. In update, microphone not sensitive enough on Droid Turbo. Would be nice to be able to adjust the sensitivity. Please fix this. A lot of work for a free app. Very easy to use. Thanks!

I rented my violin perfectly tuned but As time went on and I was dying of curriosity I re centered the bridge and there went everything. So I did it by myself with just a piano... no broken strings but certainly not the right sound. I downloaded this tuner and it was off to the races in a matter of minutes. Well maybe closer to 10 min but that was human error. I'm teaching myself so it's also a great way to check I have my fingers down in the right place.

I very much like the tuner, however with the tone generator there is a persistent pulse that clicks consistently like a metronome and I can't seem to turn it off. This makes it very difficult to play along with the tone generator which is the main reason I got this app.

I have a violin but when i tune G string it don't work....

There are many tuners out there at the play store, but CarlTune was the only one that goes straight to the point. Precise and accurate for each instrument. Congrats to the developers.

I recommend setting to 432hz tuning rather than 440hz. The math fits together much more cleanly, and believe it or not, you will hear the difference immediately.
