Video Looper

We used it to play my mother's slideshow for her 60th birthday party. We were very happy with the app. Did what we needed. We just left it playing on two different tablets on either side of the dessert table. It played nicely all evening. I only wish it could be paused... but that may have been user error. Maybe it does and I just didn't know how.

I don't know why all the low ratings. Works great on lollipop for all my mp4 videos. i haven't experimented much but haven't encountered any problems. Edit, lol@ all the "can't save" crybabies. If you're looping a vid with this app you don't need a save option. You already have the vid cheesehead

It's annoying when the default view is Grid view. I had to keep clicking on List view on each and every subfolder. Then, get this. By default, the order listing is reverse Alphabetical. That's right. So it will list 10 before 09 and 09 before 08, and so on. Dumb much? So anyway, I got to the video that I wanted and clicked play. Guess what happened? "Can't play this video." Click OK.

In a world full of apps that do the same thing it is often difficult to find the best one. Look no more, if you want to loop a video endlessly this is it. Combine it with a startup manager app and convert any tablet or android tv in a dedicated digital signage player!

Does what it set out to do, but I can't select a video from a webpage or open through 'open with an app.' Disappointed.

You can't choose a section of your video, this is a very stupid app

Annoying. It flips all the video horizontally when the some videos are meant to be watched vertically. Doesn't give you any option to change the orientation.

Once it worked perfect now it won't open any video files at all. Just gives an error. Don't download this juk

Works beautifully. Smooth transitions, no glitches. Am using to display looping artworks, nice & simple so gallery staff don't need to worry about it (or call me on the weekend!)

This app is the perfect, ultimate video looper. While I too wish it had more features, it does one thing no other can: it actually seamlessly loops videos. There are a few other so-called video loopers, but most have syncing issues on the first repeat, and/or unacceptable permissions, and/or bombard users with ads. I filmed a video of an idyllic river to use as a sleep aid, but most video players just move on to the next one after it's finished, spoiling the intended use. Now it loops (and I use another non-looping player for when I need other features). To the reviewers who bitched up a storm of negative comments, read the description. It works exactly as advertised: it perfectly loops videos, no more, no less, AND without ads or invasive permissions. It is the gold standard for purely altruistic functionality. Many thanks to the developer. Your app deserves far better reviews versus those from the ingrates who simply don't get it.

Does exactly what it says, your videos. Only plays in landscape so portrait videos can only be played landscape. Also, it would be nice to have a pause button, but overall it's not 100% necessary.

When you have a (especially short) video you want shown in a loop, this does it. Interface is a little non standard, but it works the best of all the options I've tried, and I tried a lot.

Downloaded this app a few minutes ago and tried it but it won't work. It keeps saying to select a video and when I do it goes back to the same page.

This app keeps telling me to "upload a video" even when I have done so.

What about people who want to play a vertical video ? orientation is forced to horizontal mode, I'm uninstalling it.

It mostly works great. The one shortcoming I can see is that when I choose a video in QuickPic, the video looper is not listed in the target activities. I have to use QuickPic because I often upload videos using adb put, and android miserably fails to register those files in the media database, so they are invisible to VideoLooper's selection grid (which is not really VideoLooper's fault, it's a shortcoming of android). This shortcoming might be solved if the manifest added an intent-filter for action VIEW and mimeType=video/* .

have a small production company. needed a simple video looper for selling during shows. this is exactly what I was looking for simple and clean also very small app and dosent access other things like allot of other video apps do. well done

The app will loop a video over and over. If you require multiple videos to loop you will need to edit them together (as one file) the app will not do it for you. The app doesn't compress the video losing quality. It solely loops the video. No other options required. Great for trade shows or continuous presentations.

Amazingly repeating videos is such a revolutionary concept that a whole new app had to be made! Can't open videos from browser, chat apps, or .nomedia folders with this.

Does not play the following formats on "Motorola Moto G" Android phone: wmv, mpeg and mpg. Compelled to uninstall. Don't hate it; just couldn't rate it. Cell Phone: "Motorola Moto G" Android Phone.

I love VLC and use it for all of my main movie viewing. As good as it is, it will play .webm files but refuses to loop them forever. That is where this app comes in perfectly. It does the job it sets out to do, is lightweight, and works perfectly. Ignore the reviews that complain about it not having features that it never claimed to have and give it a shot.

Is it me it seems to work I can select a video mp4 or avi both load but I have no video only sound.Any thoughts as to what I have done wrong. I am using it on a Acer Iconia A1 810 tablet.

Its very very nice app which I expected before download. If you select a video to play it just plays and if you touch the screen nothing will happen only the back key works when you start playing. Really awesome app those who is searching for loop video player

That's the point of looping. You loop the part you like, by trimming it.. If you cannot trim, then its actually a repeater ..not a real Looper.

Tried other programs, VLC and derivatives and yet if they could play a video they wouldn't loop. At all! Not even a way to loop. This worked perfectly.

it does its job flawlessly, but it's the ancillary features that are what I'm impressed with the most—most notably, cloud support. A job well done! Thank you.

I'm not sure why it took me so long to find this app, but this is exactly what I was looking for. I need to loop announcements on a smart TV. This eliminates my dependence on the garbage WiFi and keeps looping my announcements at my kiosk.

Don't understand why this app has so many low reviews, if you downloaded this app you're looking for a way of looping a specific video, this does exactly that.

Loops video on the screen. That's all it claims to do and it does it well. People rating it poorly because they can't save an infinitely looping video are idiots. Only catch on the app is that you can't rotate the video to portrait mode (doesn't affect me though)

Simply because not all videos are suitable for landscape

I wanna know if this is the app that makes it so that my galaxy s6 won't play looped video sound. The video will loop, but sound will stop. This has bleed over into other apps as well now.
