BPMe Pay for fuel in your car for Android
It's a good app, but it's a bit contradictory to the fact that it says on the pumps to not use your phone
Hasn't worked 2 out of 3 attempts. App says not installed but when you open play store it says open. Not install. So it was there all along. Oh and the help desk is only open Monday to Friday. Auto password reset lets you change the password but the changed password doesn't work.
Awaiting for authorisation for a few month this. Resent the request multiple times, company does not receive mail for my card but does for others. Because of this, the app is pretty much useless. Don't know where the issue lies. Will change review as soon as issue is solved. Issue was resolved and it seems to be working.
Great until app fails due to connectivity issues and you end up get reported to the police for an unintentional drive off, due to a failing with the application.
Local station doesn't have this service but the today's deal for smart fuel hasn't been working the last few weeks and I found it useful if this can be fixed would be awesome
Twice I used BPMe and redeemed my AA discount and twice now I have been charged the full undiscounted amount. Not impressed

Installed app but it's never accepted password after multiple attempts and forgotten password changes. . Frustrating..still waiting on phone call back to fix problem.. !!!!!!
So easy and makes filling up a breeze. Would love to be able to order coffee using the app!!
Used to work fine. Now not accumulating points. Contacted bp 2 weeks ago but no help. You owe me 60cents per litre.
Good app. But im a bit confused. There are signs on the forecourt prohibiting the use of mobile phones.
If you use the app can you go inside after paying and claim your smurfs? Or have to do the whole transaction inside?
You can't use the coffee part offline. Always need a Internet connection even to just get a coffee.
Well done devs, app works well with solid UI. Nice easy way to pay for petrol.

Working on my previous phone fine but now got another phone it is no longer working. Have called customer service but was told I'll get a call back from someone who can help when the line I phoned and pressed 2 for bpme app enquiries were the ones who are suppose to help?
App used to work great, but now dies at entering pin when trying to pay. Keeps saying "something went wrong".
DO NOT USE THIS APP! They have charged my account $125.00 for a transaction of $15.23!!! They are stealing your money!
All quick and easy to use, my son hates it because he now missed out on hot chocolate from when we went into the shop
It would be better if you add the CardSmart fuel card in your options too.

The app (and the BPMe service in general) is very useful and time saving. However, I encountered two issues which both showed some service stations are not properly trained to use / support this service. The latest incident being that I received a letter accusing me of not paying for petrol, which I fortunately had credit card statement and BPMe receipt to prove, but such false accusing should not have happened.
Convenient when it works. But it's happened several times where the app says the pump is ready, but the pump is on manual mode and I've ended up unintentionally getting more petrol than planned, and then having to queue up to pay.
I used BPME for the first time a couple of days ago and was disappointed as the app apparently stopped while I was pumping the gas. On completion of my fill I assumed the payment would go through, however I never received a receipt for my purchase after driving off. I duly phoned the BP Connect station and they advised me that I had been registered as a "drive off". As I was unable to pay on the day of the transaction (which was a 10 cent discount), I called in the following day and paid the amount owing. The sales attendant advised me that they could not honour the 10 cent discount as that was for the previous day, but could give me 6 cents instead. I questioned the difference and was advised that I hadn't paid on the day the petrol was purchased. I advised them that the app was not working and that was not my problem. When are BP going to issue some on-line instructions on how to use the app.
I am locked put and when I follow the process of entering the code txtd to me then try to sign in using new password it keeps telling me something is wrong... grrr suddenly a great app has become unusable. Tried with different email address but same cell number..and again no luck.
Awesome app once you get used to using it. First time using the app was a bit daunting & then not having to go into Service Station and pay as per normal & just driving off left one feeling a bit uneasy. But have now used about 6 times and wouldn't have it any other way. No ques, no waiting, just a few swipes & pin number then your filling up and your way. Couldnt be easier. Nice that you can see how many cents per litre you are accumulating on the Fuel Card as well. Great job BP...
Payment was quick and easy but it did not credit my AA smartfuel cpl. I have used it twice but then had to communicate via email to get the discount. This defeats the purpose of the app. It is quicker to just pay manually! Tried to check videos on bpme.co.nz (as suggested in another review response) in case I was doing something wrong but that failed with Error 404 - Web app not found. Not impressed so will uninstall.
Watched gf use this app today. Hilarious! Busy period - queue of people, I had a pie and ordered us coffees - her app wouldn't connect. She closed it, opened it - still wouldn't connect. I pull my AA card out (of my wallet) and wallah!... In the meantime, still won't connect. Grab her car keys with the coffee tag, swipe and wallah! And she's still pissing around with her stupid phone! Then it was Tap and Pay(?)! OMG how many taps does it take!? - throw $60 on the counter (from my wallet) 'have a nice day'. Back to the car - "oh it's working now..." she says! 1 star for Reliability + 1 star for amusement.
Great app. Easy to use. Has closed down a couple of times and had to go and pay inside hence a 4 not 5 star... love it tho...
Used for first time tonight good for myself and safer for attendent at night 11:30 not having to come out worked well. Can you use this after hours
Does not make rhe lazy git get off their bum to offer concierge service I get gor free at other stations

Works well but could be improved in several ways, the biggest would be the AA Smartfuel & Wild Bean Cafe barcodes no longer goes full screen when tapped like they used to. Every time since this change the staff have been struggling to scan it when before it would scan first time. Also the latest update forced me to sign in again, it was definitely logged in last week when I used it last.
