About Boxmeup

Boxmeup is a web application designed to organize your containers, boxes, and other bulk storage items. Simply create a "container", label it, input items into the container, and Boxmeup takes care of the rest.

You'll be able to print QR code labels to put onto your containers, which allow you to scan and pull up a list of items in the container on your phone. It also allows you to search all of your containers to find a specific item and Boxmeup tells you where it is!

Simple and straight forward. Love that I can access my data across all of my devices. If you're an organization junkie and NEED to know where everything is, this is the app you need!

Perfect. Add items to containers and assign containers to rooms and even locations. You can search for an item using the PC desktop view (like "glasses" or "Big Hero 6 DVD") and so it saves you searching through the boxes manually. You can stick QR codes to boxes so you can see what is in the just by scanning with your phone. Or you can export to excel. Useful for moving home, self-employed or super organised people!

So far great app. I like the fact you can export, but would be great to import too. I agree would be great to move items from 1 container to another at a different location.

No QR Reader in the app?? Scanning a code directs to a website where you have to log in rather than opening in the app. It would be much easier if it just opened in the app so you can quickly view the contents of a box. Really great concept though.

When I moved I used this app to inventory all my items. It was a breeze to move. It allowed me to find and store items, label boxes and put them in a location. Once again great app.... keep up the great work!

Entering several containers at once is tedious.

SO helpful to be able to label my boxes simply "BR1" instead of some huge wall of text on the boxes. I'd have given this five stars, if it just didn't persist in logging me out every few hours. There's no option to stay logged in! Why???

I was so excited when I saw this app because I'm an organization junkie. I would totally pay money for this app if it had: 1) there is no way to see containers by location. It would be nice to be able to select a location and then see all the containers in that location. 2) When you are looking at a container, you can't tell where it is located. You have to click the edit button for the container and then you can see the location. 3) Would LOVE to see an import feature. I have a ton of spreadsheets.

Please make it so that the QR code opens in the app. Also, sorting options would be nice (alphabetical, location, etc.). Another thing that others have pointed out is the ability to import lists.

No fus, straightforward app to know where you placed your items in which box. Name your boxes, container, storage or what have you and record as you put each items away in it. Days later would you remember where they at? Well just simply type it in the search box and woot there it is! In box A where I placed my old cds!

Throws errors.

Great Idea, Get organized. Even has printable qr codes. But those are useless. The major fail is in the fail of the printable codes and the use of mobile device. How it should work. sign in ONCE and the login "sticks" you scan a label and it brings up the "editable" contents list, to update changes on location of the container. its a barcode scanner to speed things up already. right? How it actually works you scan the QR code. it brings up a dialogue EVERYTIME asking for permission to open the website.after giving permision, it requests me to type on my phone my 23 character email address and my 12 digit password. work around they have this new thing called paper, works so much faster. AND no where in the app is a help file or an email to contact technical support.

I dont get it? I see no options to print qr coded labels. What now?

This apps allows you to create containers and list items in the boxes. It can print a QR code for easy access and export the contents to CSV. You can easily export to a spreadsheet, copy to a new document and copy and paste the QR code. Once you print it and stick it on the box you know what is inside and the QR code allows any phone quick access to the box. The only enhancement I would request is multiple user sign on to the same account. However, you can sign on to multiple devices at the same time with a single id so more than one person can add items form multiple devices. Great app, thanks Chris!

Using this app to organize DVD's, books and glassware before I Move. Love being able to see what is in each box. Can't wait for the ability to import a spreadsheet instead of typing each item into the app or site. Would also like to sort items in each container. In order to see items alphabetically I currently have to input items in reverse order. Keep up the great work!

The web page goes nowhere without a login. I wanted a simple app that resides on my tablet. I never found out if this could be such.

Love the concept and I will use it for our move. I especially love the QR code making functionality. Great. But we can't add pictures. Making a list is helpful. Adding pictures is worth a big list many times. Hopefully will come out with an update for that soon.

Like having the ability to create an inventory of my items in stored boxes and print out a scan able label I can attach to the outside of the box. Just scan the label and I know whats inside the box. I hope they continue to develop the app and make even better improvements.

Since the last update items near the bottom of the screen do not register touch input correctly. All of the rest of the applications on my droid razr are working correctly just this 1 is having issues

Basically this app lets you make a list of things in a container. The only difference between the app and their website is the scan feature, but unless you have 20 + containers, you can manually find the container in the list and open it. It would be nice to be able to scan 2D UPC labels, describe them, then put the items into the containers. Also, it will not work without internet access. (I wanted to use it to keep track of what is in my plastic bins for camping, but there is no signal where I am going.
