Bose SoundTouch

Simple functions and simple to use. Would like support for Google play and tune in radio. Only 4 service apps included and are pay to play ! When streaming to Soundtouch Wireless Adapter from Soundtouch 20, sound drops out. I would give 5 stars if these points were resolved. The sound when working is awsome. Also using with Soundtouch soundbar, sub and wireless speakers. This is a far more versatile system than Sonos that I returned, just hope Bose sort out the issues and I have a 5 star setup.

Just the same this recent update is still useless can't find can't speaker connect. what a waste bose never learn never listened. BRING BACK THE OLDEST UPDATE FORMAT!!! LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS

Recent update is better in terms of speed and smoothness, but still could be improved further if I compare it with the performance of spotify on this device. I welcome this improvement. Now I'll be less irritated and be tempted to use it more. Lets see if you can take it a step further! :-) Previous: App is rubbish, it's very slow and jerky!

The app constantly lose connection with the speakers, and very often when I initiate it I have to go through the settings as if I have never sincronized it. You are not able to search for music when using Amazon music. And when I use it in my tablet the app frequently becomes white and unresponsive.

Old one at least worked this one freezes. I know Bose can do better. sound quality absolutely rocks pls make an app that's at least on par with sonos

Sadly this app does not work as well as the old app, which fortunately I still have on my android tablet. On my HTC m8 the new app regularly fails to link with my Soundtouch 200. Maybe a time for a review Bose ?

I hate the new app old app worked better. I have 2 Bose Sound Touches. I am unable to choose the bose I want when I am in the room. I would have to delete one. Bring back the old app. Your missing the boat.

Close to impossible to connect with WiFi network. Spent lot of time with directions from support communities. It should be made that tough for it to simply work.

Great app along with great sounding speakers only drawback is Amazon music doesn't work in the uk, please sort it out Bose

This app is good in terms of simplicity and can be figured out fairly easily. The main upgrade needed is to fully integrate with Google options, including Play Music and Chromecast Audio. This would make the app and the devices it supports truly fully functional.

Update has been a pain !!!!!! Internet radio keeps cutting out!!!! Older version 100 percent better

No UK Amazon music. Don't keep advertising features that 95% of the world cannot be use.

Good work. I would love to see if it stores my frequently played playlist automatically under presets

I would be much happier with this app if they added Google music to the wi-fi add service. I still have hope.

Was working OK until the last update. Since the update it won't start at all, even upon reinstall.

Excellent application. Easy to connect and use. Streaming rate should be visible while playing internet radio to facilitate selection of stations.

Needs to support Amazon Music in the UK...

Close to getting 5 stars if it adds a few features. The sound quite is incredible and I've always loved Bose for that. But with the interface it can get better. If the speaker supports airplay it should support Apple music too. Also it should allow the user to play music from his/her own phone to the speaker. Instead it requires a setup with iTunes which gets very complicated. Quality is great, needs interface improvement.

The old app was great and easy to navigate around. The new one is the complete opposite. For whatever reason I cant connect to any of my speakers over etherent now, even though they worked fine before the update. Not a happy customer at all right now and am contemplating sending the speakers back to amazon. I find it easier to use the unoffical app for SmartThings and control them through that (over wireless now...)

I think this is a downgrade. Everything slower. I don't see any improvements. Volume used to be easy access, now have to slide up. App much slower and need to press the 6 presets to be able to choose station. All I ask was a timer, u guys changed everything but nothing is better. Volume changes automatically once I logged in the app to where i left it, which can be super loud or super low. I think you guys should improve what the customers want no what you want. That's the way to keep customers happy.

I want the old app back!!! It was much easier to use, I can't see my listening history in the new app and it's way too local focussed. The main reason to buy the bose system was to listen to music from everywhere and now I can use the features only for my country. Meh.

Having read recent reviews I can see why people don't like the new app. It certainly appears buggy, slow unresponsive...but these should be ironed out over time. For me it is better than the previous because it is a better and easier user experience when accessing your own digital music from my PC & NAS drives. I remain optimistic about the new app being better in the long run!!
