Great for updates. Had no issues using the app to update the headphones. I do wish they would show release notes of what was fixed though. Headphones still have some quirks after this upgrade though. loses all connections when you stop playing music on one. That was new but otherwise zero issues

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews saying this app is useless or that it needs more features. This app does exactly what it should: simple interface to control simple device features. I can check if my device needs a firmware update, add/remove stored paired devices, change the Bluetooth name, change voice settings for headphones, etc. For these reasons, I find it very useful and straightforward.

X70%
by X####:

The app is useless whenever I have location turned off - which is most of the time. You reply that you don't use my location info. That is not my primary concern, but rather that you require Location turned on even after connecting to the headset. Even after I have connected, if I turn Location back off, the app stops working.

Y70%
by Y####:

A good simple app. You can adjust a sleep timer to save battery or update your firmware direct from the app. Would be nice for a widget to quickly turn noise cancelling up or down (QC30). I'd prefer that over pressing the remote button 10 times.

Latest update broke it. Can't connect to headphones!

X70%
by X####:

Needs to push updates for headphones easier. The headphones I have barely last, needs update to improve battery consumption

X70%
by X####:

Good simple app. Could use more features, music control, etc.

X70%
by X####:

Latest update results in the app being unable to connect to QC35. Wasted a bit of time trying to repair reboot etc. Definitely the app.

Awful product with worse support

X70%

The audio sync is off on some sites while using my android.

X70%

Works great for updating the QC35 over Bluetooth with the Pixel XL. Not sure what all the whining is in the comments. I downloaded this for product updates and configuration not as a music player.

X70%
by X####:

Apart from updating the headphones software and battery status.Pretty useless.Have to use other apps to find music.

M70%
by M####:

Does its job on updating firmware of my qc35

D70%
by D####:

Why does it need access to location just for its magic to work? It's been working fine without that. This is not even mentioned in the change log.

X70%
by X####:

Pointless app, would be useful if it had some customisation settings such as an EQ etc.

X70%
by X####:

Love the SOUND

X70%
by X####:

Love the new QC35 headphones but not too much of this app as too limited. Should add the function to turn off/on Noice Cancellation and add an EQ function to customise sound. Still like the Samsung app better for my Samsung Level Over Pro Headphones. Samsung does a better app. Come on Bose, lift the game please. Airplane mode should be included. Why location needs to be on while using the app? Wasting my phone's battery!

X70%
by X####:

Its all good but I hate it when the app requires location to see battrey level.. Also i recommend that they create a mini widget that can be utilized and monitors battery level from mainscreen on the phone. Would make life much easier. Plz allow using the app with no neec to share location eventhough the app is pointless and have no functions other than informibg the percentage of battery.

X70%
by X####:

I agree with everyone else that says this app is useless, because it most certainly is. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it doesn't do anything impressive. I can say that it did explain the functionality of this headset better than the stupid instruction manual did. And why do you need my device location??? What is that about??? All that is doing is running your battery down, so what's the use??? Uninstalling immediately!

G70%
by G####:

Headphones are great. This app does nothing though. If a paired device is not in range, it shouldn't cycle through trying to connect to it at the expense of connecting to devices that are. Definitely need a firmware update to disable ANC or pause when headphones are off. Desperately need to be able to fix the Qc 35 lag. App doesn't even allow registering for warranty. Looks good, but don't bother.

P70%
by P####:

I actually really like this app. The problem is that I want to see fixed his can we please control the amount of noise canceling. I want to increase my noise cancel. Otherwise I am considering purchasing a Sony latest model to compare if it has more noise canceling.

F70%
by F####:

Audio sharing is a bit clumsy with the sequence. Relatively intuitive connection, to smartphone but doesn't operate in back ground on LG G5. Heart rate tracking with a csv out put, would rate 5*

M70%
by M####:

Handy app, can control music playing on an iPod Touch from my primary device (this Android phone), as well as graphically control volume, amount of ANC (on QC30), and which devices are paired and connected, all more easily than with the built in buttons. Would prefer it didn't need location to be enabled, very annoying. Also as other have requested a widget would be great, or even optional persistent notification with some built in controls there.

X70%
by X####:

Does what it advertises. Please improve speed of OTA firmware update. Right now my Pulse take 51mins on a 1GBPS fiber connection... Music sharing won't work on LG V20. My first headphone (QC35) disconnects from my phone whenever it successfully connects to my other HEADPHONE (SoundSport Pulse) ...

X70%
by X####:

Great app, love the functionality. One thing though, the battery indicator in the app constantly displays 100%. I have a Bose Color 2 Sound Link and my phone is an XT1245. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

X70%
by X####:

The HMI in the latest version is just terrible. I just wanted to check the battery level, but to do that I had first to rename the phones, and then manipulate the volume control on the phones.

X70%
by X####:

Meh. Officially a glorified volume control and Bluetooth manager. Works OK but completely unnecessary. Not worth the heavy development cost I'm sure they spent. Uninstalling it shortly.

X70%
by X####:

The app has functionality that works from time to time. For example, I can update the firmware on my QC35s and SoundSports. However the app doesn't recognise when they've finished installing so I have to quit the app. Another example would be that my friend with the same earphones can share music with me, but I can't with him. The app crashes and earphones turn off. Would love for these issues to be resolved, which would me rate the app higher but alas.

X70%
by X####:

Ok app, good headphones but one thing that does bother me is that when you have 2 devices connected (galaxy s7 and macbook pro) it's a bit rubbish at switching between the two for audio. Can't you make a manual method of switching audio between devices as the current method really doesn't work that well and i find that I often haves to turn the bluetooth off on one device. A simple button command from the headphone would suffice -maybe in the next headphone update?

X70%
by X####:

No sound. Bluetooth is connected. Phone call works and sound is OK. But application..... Like vlc, etc Failure. Can play and pause using the button BUT NO SOUND.

D70%
by D####:

DON'T UPDATE TO THE LATEST FIRMWARE! ANC and sound quality get downgraded for a gimmicky soundshare feature which you'll almost certainly never use. App is next to useless other than for firmware updates - at least for QC35

N70%
by N####:

Installed this app, playing music via this app, it asked for update of my Bose speakers, I was doing it in Midway my Bose goes dead. Not turning on our off. Trying to contact customer care

X70%
by X####:

For me the app is useless. Very limited information when connected... Pointless really!

X70%
by X####:

I could connect before, but for the past month, it keeps telling me that I couldn't connect. Regardless, when i do, the functionality of the app is very limited. Would be nice to have some voice prompts eg low battery, but not prompts every time I turn on my headphones (listing out multiple connected devices is super annoying). Other great features could include a equalizer.

P70%
by P####:

It ships update 1.2.9 to QC35 and now there is no chance to listen through Bluetooth on my device. It looks like it corrupts something in Bluetooth driver on Android. I'm hearing a lot of interruptions. While it is ok on other devices.

S70%
by S####:

I would really like to be able to control the amount of noise cancelling I can get like the Bose sound hear app, but they totally ignored that. This app is basically just a place to see all your devices, it doesn't add anything new, I mean you can see your music on your music app and connect in the settings.

Z70%
by Z####:

Please, I'm begging you guys, give us the option to turn of noise cancellation. In the wind this thing is unusable

X70%
by X####:

Not a bad app, it does what it is made for. But functionality is pretty poor. For example it has player, but you can't switch album or artist, you can just skip the song or change volume level. But there are few cons: • Updates take too long to install. My Bose QC35 took 30 minutes to update. I don't believe that software update for freaking headphones is bigger than 5Mb. • Poor player functionality, it doesn't even show album covers. • Needs location to work. I know it uses this function because of crazy Android settings, but I don't like to waste my charge for music player. I keep this app just to update my QC35 software and unpaid some devices, in other ways it's useless.

X70%
by X####:

Works OK, but is not what I would call feature rich. Lots of room for improvement, but it's on the right path.

P70%
by P####:

Straightforward app that allows me to do things that would be awkward to use the headphone controls, like pairing and firmwares updates. Good job!
