Land Rover InControl Apps

Doesn't work with Deezer, so f all use to me. Strikes me that this app reflects JLRs attitude to Tech in general, i drove a Corsa last week and i would love to have the speed and graphics I'm my DS, you wonder why so many people buy BMW's, Merc's or Audi's????

Outdated software and outdated hardware in land rover vehicles, disappointing

InControl apps have been near useless since I purchased 1 year ago. Found Stitcher use it a little. Landrover computer is slow, can't turn down volume in the car while in reverse, finding an address within the navigation is like pulling teeth. Computer seemed to update at the last service, can't find release notes..... I hear I can use Spotify through the Incontrol apps....can't find any instructions other than garbage marketing videos. Landrover you need to bridge your software, hardware, marketing and customer service silos. If you need a way to do this contact me, we will help you bring out a shared purpose, create the cross boundary connections to deliver value and self-organize teams to focus on getting to priority action ultimately delivering better products. Would love to love this but can not!

This app is just disappointing. It has very limited "apps" that work with it, is clunky, looks arcane, and is just.. well disappointing. I would be happy if they just added an update to let you use android auto, or at least added a module in the InControl app to use google google play music. The updates seem to be very infrequent, and not impressive when they happen. When you buy a land rover you expect that the company has their stuff together, this app makes you wonder.

I recently got a 2017 autobiography Range Rover and although the car is great the infotainment is total crap. 5th Gen Ipod takes ages (sometimes 5mins into journey) to boot spotify. When it does connect the user interface is is far from intuitive and is very unstable - Steering wheel buttons wont fast forward through a song. Also cant view what tracks are in an Album. Even our work van can do this !! Land Rover need to listen to the frustrations of many customers who have paid a lot for a high end car, and end up really disappointed with a system not fit for purpose. An apple or android operating system would be fantastic !! Sort it out Land Rover

To think I had to pay for this feature in the car to use the app. Only a small number of programs work with it and you have to pay even more for all of them. Constantly disconnects and only the pictures upload via the usb cable with any audio having to go through Bluetooth which has very poor quality. Land Rover will never be a true luxury car with rubbish technology like this. The fact they charge so much for the feature is better described as theft.

After promises of a developing app I cant believe that InControl apps is as poor today as it was on day 1. What makes thinks worse is the press releases of amazing technology breakthroughs that then never make it to the app. Ive one year to go before I look for another car. The car itself (Vogue) is stunning but massively let down by embarrassingly dated infotainment. I could by a Ford Fiesta and have better apps. Drop this debacle and go with the standard apple and google offerings.

The only thing that would make this app worthwhile for Android is the Spotify integration for my Day, and that is only available on iPhone apparently. Add Spotify on to Android! What are you thinking by making it iPhone exclusive?! Aside from that, add an Audible app! I don't care about weather or news or any of that stuff in my car, I want audio based solutions utilizing existing, well established applications.

Needs more apps why not make all apps compatible for Android or iPhone? This is a disgrace land rover need to get a grip of the technology that is out there and utilise it and listen to what their customers want. You could use an android OS in the car is open source.

Bought a new top of the range Discovery which came loaded with bottom of the range apps. Can't connect to my Nexus 5x running the latest version of Android as apparently I need to connect a suitable device! Reading the reviews, that's probably the source of the problem. Land Rover never really took early user complaints seriously and have now got well and truly left behind in a fast moving business area. I haven't uninstalled it yet as I really want this app to work but I don't hold out much hope...

2007 is calling and they want there poor software experience back, You can do better :( great idea, poor execution.... Where the heck is Spotify for Android? No dual (IOS&Android) platform releases, Really? Either fund your Apps or UI teams or get a decent contractor group or just put a damn radio in the car and be done. I'm embarrassed for You..the feedback on the boards and user forums is absolutely brutal

Terrible execution. I agree with the other reviews going back years. It only gives you rubbish apps which no one wants. I only want Spotify which is nowhere to be seen despite being advertised as a key feature and reason for buying this expensive option. This is with the 2017 incontrol connect system.

What is the point of this app. Doesn't work on Pixel and even on my old phone I couldn't use Google music or Google maps so what's the point of it instead of Bluetooth for music.

Pretty much useless. Give us Tom Tom support as promised ages ago as the in car sat nav is pants

This app needs to let you access the commonly used applications such as Waze, Google maps, Spotify just not enough depth to be useful.

Still does not work, nothing shows up on my discovery sport despite having confirmation from both dealer and corporate that it should work on my model. Been trying for almost 2 years now

Works just fine for me on Galaxy S7.

Useless. No Spotify although so broadly marketed by some chaps in a video clip. Wake up JLR your infotainment system sucks.

Loaded App went through accepting EULA, accepted collection data and gave allow access for calendar, contacts,music and phone. All then had X against them saying I hadn't given access rights but I did give access rights. Tried connecting to car and screen changed to car connected and nothing else after that. My phone works ok with Land Rover remote but that's all you can use with icontrol.

Useless app for a luxury vehicle. Very disappointed Land Rover. Can't even get the app to function properly. Waze it is for now.

Finally Spotify has arrived on this platform.... still waiting for Waze though. Latest update rearranged the home screen to accommodate 8 icons which is a welcome if slightly cosmetic update.

New apps being added often. The app is improving soon.

When I plug in my phone I am practically stuck with ONLY using the My Apps screen. And to make things worse only the worst most useless apps are compatible.. I look at what other cars offer and I'm literally shocked. Please bring this up to AT LEAST match your competitors.

Over £50,000 for the Land Rover to have this useless app. Land Rover could have a gem and something to be proud of if they had some decent apps we could use...

Got my 2016 Range Rover..Where is thre justdrive app? Cant find it in google store.. The only app worth installing is nowhere to be found on android. Help!

Very limited functionality and seems to be a token addition to what should be something useful. It just seems as though they thought they ought to do something with this technology but weren't sure what!
