great app. very clever idea where it quizzes you whenever you unlock your phone, also very easy to skip it just by pressing the home screen button. i like that you have to click the words to see the romaji so that it doesnt interfere with your attempt to read it in japanese first. i have no problem with the ads either; they're barely noticable.

I gave you 5 stars. Please add more and high ranked vocabulary!

I like that I can jump straight into learning weeks without needing to pass hiragana levels. The UI is rudimentary and there's a bug because I can't seem to close the app on my tablet. Every time I unlock the tablet, the app is there. But this app has great potential.

This is really helpful! But it could help more if there is a romanization for each word so that we could easily read it confidently during review before test, and we won't need another app for alphabets. But still this is an awesome app!

Thanks for the good app, very helpful. But I think if Romanization were added under the Japanese words it would make reading easier.

I'm almost an absolute beginner and some words' meanings don't match with what I already knew. I have no way of knowing whether the word has different meanings depending on context and when to use each of them. Could you include multiple meanings if the word has one? Other than that, an excellent app! The one-word test upon unlocking the screen is an excellent feature.

I really like it! but like many others said, it's simply too much ads, very distracting! is there a way for me to disable the ads? I don't mind paying for the feature!

The best app for learning Japanese words I've seen and used!

Hello! This is such an excellent app. I do have some problems with loading... sometimes it is stuck on the logo page for minutes without proceeding. Would you know what the solution is? Edit: That worked! Thank you.

An absolutely fantastic app and learning system. Very well built. It's also fun and challenging. Is there anyway to purchase and remove ads?

Great app but the ads on the bottom of the page are annoying. I wouldn't mind paying for an ad-free version. Also it says there's in-app purchases but I don't see any?

I really do enjoy this app, the crazy amount of advertising makes it real hard to stay focused on studying...

After a year of studying japanese, finally I met the best app ever. This is good for learning kanji too.

This is officially the best Japanese vocabulary app. It works well, and gives an option to run a quiz when you open your phone. Which is rant useful. It has a quiz variety so you can get quizzed even if you're a real pro. Apparently has ads, didn't even notice them. Nicely un-intrusive. It's so good I wrote a review.

I'm in love with the app not so much with the adds, and it seems there is no way to remove em.

It's not explained very well for beginners.

Great app but the amount of ads is staggering. Either remove half or make a paid ad free version to remove all of them

I love how the vocabulary is organized into sections and that there's an example sentence for every word. It's the most effective and easy to use app that I found to learn Japanese words. The text-to-speech engine is also really good! At first I thought they had recorded an actual person saying each sentence before I realized it's synthesized. Just please add a black mode! The white background is blinding at night. It would also be great if we could organize our favorite words into sections (folders).

I've tried everything to close the app and it's always the first thing on my screen when I open my phone. Uninstalling.
