SolunarCast is the premier hunting and fishing forecast tool. Whether you fish fresh or salt water, hunt upland birds, waterfowl or big game, or just like to bird watch, this is the app for you.
We use solunar calculations based on location and date to calculate the optimal times each day for you to see the most action.
Use your current location (from network or GPS) or add a location anywhere in the world. Add as many as you want.
We give you a detailed day view with:
- overall day rating
- times of peak activity
- sun rise and set
- moon rise, set, overhead, underfoot and phase
There's also a weekly view so you can get a glimpse at what's to come so you can easily plan your next outdoor adventure.
Looking for something a little farther out? No problem. You can set the date in both the day and week views to whenever you want.
Since weather also plays a major role in fish and game activity there's also a 5-day weather forecast included for your chosen location(s).

Horrible app. Using on a Galaxy Tab 3 and it won't even pull up my location. Shows nothing. I even tried to set it manually but there is no option to do so. Fix this and my rating might change.

Moonrise and moonset times are half hour out for my location South Australia so need to adjust. Apart from that is really good. 5 stars if fixed or if accurate sure you location.

This has been my go to app for salt water fishing in Florida. It is highly accurate! ! I reported the issue with it not adding new locations and I received a rapid response and the issue was corrected rapidly! !! Thanks so much for the rapid response and this wonderful app!!!!

If just the basics is what you are after then this app will provide that. It is easy to use and the week feature is nice. I had no problem with it finding me and no problem changing or adding locations. I use it for fishing forcasts and to predict times of activity that might help for photohraphy. The weather forcast is a nice touch.

Sweet... the latest and greatest update helps tremendously! Kudos to Warren Paul. I certainly understand the solar forecast but the deer don't! What's up with that? Warren add deer to the app.... Take this app hunting and you'll understand!!

Best solunar calendar type app on the market. Reliable, accurate, very easy to use and easy on the eyes. Only thing I wish it included was a tide chart. Cheers

So far so good, no problems with the app since I corrected my location settings, my tablet has no gps but the system was set to use gps or network and solunar couldn't get a location. I would really like to see a month view option in addition to the day and week. All in all, good app at the price.

Great app, best one I found (I just want to know (sun/moon)(rise/set) and moon phase for arbitrary calendar dates and locations. This does the job, and I love it that there's no ads. It would be nice if the location picker would allow input of geocoordinates though, instead of just cities or current GPS loc.
