Silent Sleep

Used to work great every time. In the past few months it has become more intermittent and unreliable. Sometimes it fails to silence my phone at night and sometimes it fails to turn sound back on in the morning. I loved it when it was reliable and consistent.

On my S3 this app worked perfect. Now on my S7 it doesn't turn on when scheduled unless i open the app. If I'm going to have to open the app to have it work i might as well just silence my phone...

It worked well for the last few years. Now it is hit and miss since the nougat update. The web page doesn't work and the email bounces back. Is this app no longer supported?

When the phone automatically switches the sounds back on again at 7:30am, it makes a noise and vibrates. This is very annoying when I am having a lie in at the weekend. There is no need for this noise and vibration - please remove it from the next update. Thanks!

This app is ok but for some reason when it turns silent mode off it goes to loud. It won't go to vibrate which is what I always leave my phone on during the day. There are better apps out there that do this.

I started getting emails in the middle of the night from outlook and corporate email. This lets you receive any alerts quietly without any alert sounds for any specified period of time. Now I can finally get uninterrupted sleep without blocking important notifications.

Giving it a one star Coz there's a problem with the app now, it's not working properly on android lollypop s5, the silent mode goes on priority mode not full silent..! Please fix this, otherwise never had a problem with this app fory over three years now!!

This worked really well on previous phones (Galaxy S4, Optimus Black) and I consider it essential. But since upgrading to a Galaxy S6 which is on Android Lollipop (5.1) it hasn't worked reliably so I'll have to figure something else out. That's a shame because I really like it.

samsung a3 2016, sometimes does not turn on/off sound as scheduled. maybe has something to do with "closing all" apps... anyway, cannot rely on it for its primary function. hope to see this fixed

I just like it. You set it and can forget about it afterwards, because it does what it says it does. The faint vibration (at my set time in the morning) has prevented me from oversleeping more than once.

When it turnes on back the sound to my Samsung GT-S7562L, once or twice in a week the phone vibrates continuosly until I press the home button. That's why I cannot set it for weekend when I sleep later,to silence my device.

Finally an app on Android that does not use permissions they can't justify. But it does not work. I get the feeling that a reboot makes it break.

Notice the last few nights it shows it's was on vibrate but still I get text messages & ringtones comes through. I have tried to uninstall then reinstall still doesn't work please fix I love this app

I keep my phone on vibrate throughout the day, but when this app does its thing, it always sets my phone back to Vib+Ring, which isn't what I want. This app needs more options.

Fab app. Upset I was unable to silence night time emails on new desire hd. Was looking for push email and found this app. Works perfect and simple too

Got a new phone a huawei g8 and it keeps stopping working, I have to keep going into silent sleep settings and ticking and unticking 'enable' box. I have it set as a protected app.

but since the dreaded android lollipop update 5.0.1 this don't seem to work properly.doesn't silent it like it use to so I switched to the built in one that android put on the phone all I can say is

Would love to have the ability to schedule weekday separate from weekend, I get up at 5 am weekdays, but not on weekends, please update otherwise out works like a charm

Would give more stars if I could mute for everything and everyone except specific people I select from my contact list so I can still get emergencies

Message and email notifications caught me off guard and woke the wife. This solves that problem. Set up and forget, excellent.

I'm fed up of my HTC One go vibrating randomly EVEN when the phone is set to silent and all apps have vibration mode turned off. It's ridiculous. Finally I can pick up my phone in the morning, turn on notifications without the STUPIDLY loud vibration waking my partner up.

Used to work well but something has changed. Now although the icon shows the phone on silent, text messages still cause a notification sound. Also if you restart your phone, the app doesn't start and you have to go into it to make it switch to silent. It needs to mute ALL sounds during sleep time except media player (so you can listen to an audiobook or music). A good addition would be to allow calls and texts from people in a special group such as VIP.

Vibrates when restoring sound in the morning waking me up when i am wanting to sleep in x-(. Also no way to make the weekends/non work days different times.

Doesn't try to be a framework like Tasker and is therefore rock solid. Perfect if you hate being kept awake by incoming emails at 4am

This app would be perfect EXCEPT, it blocks me from receiving phone calls. Are you planning on putting a check box for things like that?

Works perfectly. I agree with others though. It would be nice to add a second schedule. However that won't stop me from rating it 5 stars.

Needs an exception list that can be selected from contacts for family, etc

This app DOES NOT WORK!!! So disappointing!!! Free should Not mean "doesn't work!"

Works great but would like if there's more options available, like to choose between normal or vibrate mode from silent and different settings for weekdays and weekends.

I had this app on my phone for many years and never had a problem. It doesn't look pretty but it's frankly essential with the amount of stuff our phones notify us and bleep about these days. Now I just need to fit the children with a similar device and I might get a straight 8 hours!

But it would be nice to have multiple schedules that start and stop at different hours depending on the day.

This is one of those essential apps that you wonder why they didn't include stock with your phone in the first place. And it's free!

Super simple, works every time. Only issue is if silent is enabled when app kicks in when the time is up for app to "quit" it's goes to lowest volume setting. I've missed a few calls in AM because of this. Fix that and it's a 5 all day long

Recently upgraded to lollipop and found priority notifications override silent sleep settings. But it looks like lollipop now natively supports silent times so this app no longer needed. Prior to lollipop this app worked without issue.

Why so little users?:( The best app in the market. First in the line to install after format/change phone.

Brilliant App, has been a lifesaver for me - gives me all the sleep I need, and will never again forget to turn my phone back off silent.

Please add different times so weekend or days off you can change the hours you want set.

Nice and simple, but you can’t set a time schedule for the week. Start and end time is set for all selected weekdays -> no weekend schedule possible.

Works great on myTouch slide just wish it could turn off WiFi, Bluetooth & GPS over night also!

Love the app but I would like to have certain numbers able to call. I want my kids' call at 3am, but not my idiot friends. Bypass gets it 5 stars!
