BAM Reader 2

Can't believe there hasn't been an update since 2015. Using on Galaxy S7. Also, if Books A Million is #2 brick and mortar bookstore in USA, why don't they have any other app (like a MAIN app) other than this sorry thing?

Continuously returns to "homepage." Not as easy to maneuver as say Kindle. Works but not well.

For a while the app worked okay, now it wont open any books without freezing and then crashing. Hope bam fixes this otherwise i might as well have burned my money on the books ive purchased.

The setup of the app could definitely use a lot of work but the lag of the app running is what is rather most annoying. Hopefully they'll fix it so I can actually find something I want to read

Not user friendly at all. I had to download mtiple required apps to read from my phone, and adjusting the settings is a nightmare. I spoke with customer service twice, having to wait almost a full 48 hours both times. Lousy. This is the only eBook purchase from BAM I have ever made, and I will not make another. I will stick with Amazon and Kindle. Fix your app BAM!!

Can't beat it.

Not even close to the user friendly Nook or Kindle. Took way to long to figure out how to adjust the font size then it won't save it. Will use my BAM gift card in store for other things. Will only keep it so I can read the one book I have on it.

I read daily. I've used Kindle, Google Books, Nook, Apple, etc... This is the worst. The design is terrible, (who swipes from right to left to turn a page) the fact that you can't CHOOSE to read in any reading app is ridiculous, the font sizing is a pain... I will keep the gift card I was given and try to figure something else out.

They closed my local Books A Million a few years ago. This app is my only hope. Please get and keep it up to day functioning. I've bought books here and would like to buy more.

Purchased a book online, not knowing it REQUIRED this app to read, as well as additional proprietary software for desktop. If there's anything I hate, it's having to download yet another app or software that does the exact same thing as other apps or software I already have, albeit not as elegant. Down with DRM!

I hate the fact that I need this app to read books that I purchased through BAM. I now go out of my way to avoid buying ebooks from BAM. I want the option to read purchased books on whichever app I choose. I also have trouble getting into the app almost every time I access it, so I've developed a resentment. I just tried to get into a recipe book, and the app stopped. Three times. I'm gonna have to buy a separate copy of my books, because I can't access them here. What a waste of money these purchases were!

Why can't I read my books? I bought them and then went to download them and it says I don't have enough tokens to download. Either give me my money back or let me read my book

I cannot buy books because "Get Books" won't load, it sends you back to main page after you selected a topic/book, or does nothing at all. And Heck you've been getting only 1 Stars the past few months. Others have describe many other problems that need to be fixed. Have you guys abandoned this app. Or should I say the customers. I thought too you'd realize by now you're losing out on sales.

Do not buy anything from booksamillion. They will steal your money and never give you the product you purchased. I bought walking dead compendium 3 and when I tried to open it with the bam reader, it said "no tokens available for download". I called customer service and was directed to speak with their ebook tech, Julian Barnett. I was told by Julian Barnett that I was receiving this error because I downloaded the compendium to too many devices and that wasn't allowed so I was not eligible for a refund. I never had access to the book from the moment I purchased it. I have two devices and neither ever were able to open it. I was told that I had the book and that they have proof that I've read the book. I asked for said proof and they immediately stopped all contact with me. I consider this a 35 dollar lesson to never shop with booksamillion ever again. I plead and beg everyone to do the same. I don't want anyone to ever be treated how I've been treated. They are a horrible business.

This app is horrible. Get Books takes forever to load and the results is so detailed it's useless. Load a small list of parent genres & let your customer drill down. Completely useless!!

Won't download my purchased books.

I can't even purchase a book through this app with a gift card for the store.

I have a Bluebird American Express credit card with an expiration date higher than 2018. Because of this, I can't order books.

Needs a better search function. Need to be able to browse by series, publisher, author. Anything that defines the book.

Crashes every time I try to open it.

Unusable. Get message "unfortunately BAM Reader 2 has stopped" at every launch. Uninstalling.

I have enough space on my phone it keeps saying I don't and won't install.

It kept saying that time and date causes prevention. I have both the CORRECT time and date. Need to fix immediately!!!!

Hard to see

Runs slow, doesn't offer samples of books before purchase, can't sync with Android devices. Uninstalled.

Took 3 tries to install and now has trouble connecting to server for anything. Uninstalled.

The only thing I would like is syncing between devices. I mostly ready on my Android Tablet but occasionally the opportunity arises to read on my Android phone but you can't sync between the two and that is a huge factor as to why I normally use Kindle.

I haven't tried it out yet but if it's anything like the store, I will definitely give it 5stars Yeah, it's gr8

I'm just a fan of the stores simply because it's one of the few places in my area that sells the graphic novels I enjoy. For me this app is simply convenient.
