مختصر تفسير ابن كثير كتاب لشرح تفسير ابن كثير
قام المؤلف في هذا الكتاب باختصار "تفسير ابن كثير" الذي هو أحد كتب التفسير بالمأثور دون أن يخلّ، وقد وضع في المقدمة شرطا بأنه سيقتصر في مختصره هذا على الأحاديث الصحيحة فقط، إلا أنه أخذ عليه وجود أحاديث كثيرة تدور ما بين الضعف والوضع، وبعضها مما أشار إليه صاحب الأصل -ابن كثير- إلى ضعفها سكوتًا؛ لذلك تعرض الشيخ الصابوني لانتقاد وردود بعض العلماء.
هذا مختصر تفسير ابن كثير للشيخ أحمد شاكر ، وقد حافظ المختصر على ميزات الأصل ، وهي :

تفسير القرآن بالقرآن ، وجمع الآيات التي تدل على المعنى المراد من الآية المفسرة أو تؤيده أو تقويه

ثم التفسير بالسنة الصحيحة

ثم ذِكْرُ كثير من أقوال السلف في تفسير الآي .

وحذف أسانيد الأحاديث مكتفياً بذكر الصحابي وتخريج ابن كثير له

كما حذف كل حديث ضعيف أو معلول – في تقديره طبعاً –

وحذف المكرر من أقوال الصحابة والتابعين اكتفاء ببعضها

وحذف الأخبار الإسرائيلية وما أشبهها

وما أطال به المؤلف من الأبحاث الكلامية والفروع الفقهية والمناقشات اللغوية واللفظية

مما لا يتصل بتفسير الآية اتصالاً وثيقاً .

واقتصر في الأحاديث الطويلة والأحداث التاريخية المطولة على موضع الشاهد منها .

وقد حافظ المختصر على آراء الحافظ المؤلف وترجيحاته في تفسير الآيات، مجتهداً في إبقاء كلامه بحروفه ما استطاع .

اختصار تفسير ابن كثير: نسخة مصورة من إصدار دار الهداة، وقد اختصره ثلاثة من مدرسي دار الحديث الخيرية بمكة المكرمة، وهم:
1- الأستاذ صلاح بن محمد عرفات.
2- الأستاذ محمد بن عبدالله الشنقيطي.
3- الأستاذ خالد بن فوزي عبدالحميد.
وتم هذا العمل العلمي بإشراف فضيلة الشيخ الدكتور صالح بن عبدالله بن حميد إمام وخطيب المسجد الحرام، ورئيس مجلس القضاء الأعلى.
- وقد سارت اللجنة على المنهج التالي:
أولاً: حذف الأسانيد التي ذكرها المؤلف في الكتاب.
ثانياً: حذف الأحاديث الضعيفة التي نص الشيخ على تضعيفها، أو نص أئمة العلم على ذلك، وحذف المكرر من الأحاديث الصحيحة والحسنة.
ثالثاً : نص الكتاب كله من كلام ابن كثير وإذا احتيج إلى إثبات عبارات من عندنا للربط فتوضع بين قوسين [] تمييزاً لها عن نص الكتاب.
رابعاً : الظاهر أن ابن كثير - رحمه الله - كان يعتمد قراءة غير قراءة حفص، ويغلب على الظن أنها قراءة أبي عمرو فإنه كثيراً ما يفسر عليها ثم يذكر القراءة الأخرى، وهذا الأمر لم يتنبه له بعض من اختصر الكتاب فاختصر القراءة الثانية، وأثبت الأولى، مع أنه أثبت الآيات على القراءة التي حذفها وهي قراءة حفص، وقد تنبهنا إلى هذا وراعيناه.
خامساً: لم نحذف الأقوال الفقهية التي أوردها الشيخ، إلا أننا ربما حذفنا الأقوال الضعيفة وأثبتنا الراجح بدليله، وننبه القارئ إلى أن مراد المصنف بالأصحاب: الشافعية.
سادساً : ربما وقعت أوهام في النسخ التي بين أيدينا في عزو أو تخريج، فإننا نصحح مثل هذا ونضعه بين قوسين وهو قليل.
سابعاً: كثيراً ما يستدل المؤلف على التفسير باللغة ويورد أبياتاً من الشعر، فأبقينا بعضها وحذفنا أكثرها مع الإبقاء على المعنى اللغوي.

ومنهج المختصر كان كالتالي :

- حافظ المختصر على ميزات الأصل ، وهي :
تفسير القرآن بالقرآن ، وجمع الآيات التي تدل على المعنى المراد من الآية المفسرة أو تؤيده أو تقويه
ثم التفسير بالسنة الصحيحة ، ثم ذِكْرُ كثير من أقوال السلف في تفسير الآي .
- حافظ على ترجيحات وآراء المؤلف .
- اختار من الأحاديث أصحها وأقواها إسنادا ، وأوضحها لفظاً .
- حذف أسانيد الأحاديث .
- حذف الأحاديث الضعيفة أو المعلولة إلا لضرورة .
- حذف المكرر من أقوال الصحابة .
