**If you experience an issue upgrading, please uninstall the previous version first and then install the new version.
The Bomgar Support Client app supports end-users running devices (smartphones and tablets) with Android version 4.0.3 and newer. The Bomgar app allows end-users to receive secure technical support from a support representative using Bomgar, the worldwide leader in secure, appliance-based remote support.
This support client should be downloaded only at the direction of a support desk representative using Bomgar whom you have solicited for technical support on your Android device.
Upon installing the Bomgar support client, return to the web page you came from and click the link to start the support session. If you are on the phone with a representative and do not have this link, you will need to start the Bomgar Customer Client app and enter the URL and session key provided by the support representative. After entering this information, you will be connected to the technical support representative so he or she can see your screen and control your device. You will also still have the ability to end the remote support session at any time. Once the support session has ended, your device can no longer be accessed by any representative without you starting a new session. For best results, you should try to find a Wi-Fi internet connection when using this app.
Feature Overview:
• Screen Co-Browsing – Support reps using Bomgar can see the same web sites and web apps that the end user is actively viewing on their mobile device, offering immediate guidance to troubleshoot the issue.
• Screen Snapshot Viewing – End users can share captured screen shots of issues with their support rep, to further collaborate on the challenges they may face with their mobile device.
• Secure Live Chat – Chat back and forth with the representative within the remote support session so end users don’t have to sit on the phone the entire time.
• Security – As with every Bomgar session, the session is only being conducted through the organization being trusting to resolve the issue using their secure Bomgar appliance.
Notes:
This app works with an existing Bomgar Remote Support or Bomgar Connect installation, version 15.1 or greater, and support sites with trusted CA-signed certificates.

BOMGAR costs Texa$, but you can't do much at all with the mobile app. You can basically chat with them, see a web browser only, or see their pictures. Want to walk a user through IOS settings? Nope. Want to see what happens when your custom app crashes? Nope. The appliance is amazing and I recommend it. This app is worthless, though.

easy to use and very usefull is acess to file system I can download and upload files to and from my android in seconds. With root access I can also reach my system files. Keep up the good work

It's a start in the right direction, but unfortunately no screen sharing. However you can perform file transfers and view system info.

While the app works for connection and appears to be stable (no unexpected crashes), it seems limited in scope. Functions such as file sharing are useful for some, but as there is no remote ability to select anything on the screen, not sure how useful this is for supporting smartphones for technology challenged clients who require hand-holding. The technology seems promising, but still leaves lots of room for improvement. Hoping that future enhancements will have enhanced functionality.

Not your fault, rating is based on present usefulness... If I had screen sharing too (and on iPhone/Pad), it'd be the most awesomest app I use! That'd get 5 stars... my customers can't be expected to all root phones. Is that the only issue? Use it for BlackBerry support... awesome!

Despite the initial ability to connect with my device for screen sharing and allowing the permissions, my phone reps cannot connect to my file system to transfer me my necessary files, useless
