Sound Oscilloscope for Android
Sounds are neat!!
Does dBm f f t and scope with wide range of time scale.
Can you include USB signal input?
Very effective to demonstrate exccessive noise environment! Thanks
Several attempts to install the app have given message that 'Sound Oscilloscope can't be installed... Error Code 504'. I an using Samsung Galaxy S7 edge running Nogaut.
I'm getting a error code 504 . While trying to download it. Could anyone help plz?
Error 504 rubbish

Very useful tool for acoustical observations.
Very slow
Good tool
, with 3 fonction , 0 to 20 second on screen , useful to me .
Better than most o-scopes apps available. But the developer still need to address the huge delay in FFT mode.
I used it to adjust a pendulum clock to tick evenly. Admittedly this is a very specialized application. Microphone sensitivity is excellent on Galaxy S5.
A well thought out app with professional features. I'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and agree with all comments by reviewers so far. It's a pity the full potential of this program can't be realised through default acoustic coupling via the inbuilt microphone instead of by direct signal injection. I think strengthening the scope trigger could help to lock displayed waveforms better, as some drifting is noticeable but this doesn't detract from user enjoyment. I really would like to install Android OS on a flash drive and then test this app running properly on my laptop fed with home - made waveforms to the mic socket. Best regards.
Works great! I've tried a bunch of apps like this, and this is the best one I've found. Good sensitivity with my phone's mic. Thanks!
Well educated holding two degrees, one degree in computer science , another in communications electronics .FCC GENERAL RADIO TELEPHONE LICENSE also- known as FCC 1ST Class License with Radar Endorsement . I have used a lot of test equipment this is extremely handy to have in my telephone I can tell natural sounds from man-made sounds with it and their relative sound levels if you know how to read the information.
I used it to check my mechanical metronome, piano and other similar things. Helped me a lot.
1 remember settings. 2 Remember Peak levels. 3 some indication on whats changing when you press a button, especially on the time. Found DIGI+Sound Meter. Does EVERYTHING and more that Im looking for.
Hi, I hold no degrees, choosing to hang out in art classes for my 6 years of high school. I don't know the difference between a capacitor and a resistor, and anytime I've tried soldering anything it ends up in a spreading tin/lead puddle that spreads to all my other connections rendering my whole project useless. I don't know how an oscilloscope works, all I know about one is it starts out The Outer Limits. Or is it The Twilight Zone? I always get them confused with each other. But I just love all the wavy lines and could watch them for hours, and that's even without a high! Well done with your wavy line maker thingy!!!
FFT is delayed by 9(!) seconds. Otherwise looks pretty good app.
Simply excellent! However, I would like to have more controls, specially in the FFT view such as FFT size, windowing function and noise floor adjustment. In the scope view it would be awesome to have specific controls to adjust the time base and H/V scaling.

what did you use here? mediarecord or audiorecord?
Ya man i m stoned and my fart looked pretty cool on the screen man

Nice job. Useful.
Shows the sound wave, you can adjust the magnitude and time, fft is arguable..
Does what it says

That's great! Really good. One little problem: 2 components of Fourier series isn't enough for describing difficult signals.
