Call Recorder - Boldbeast

I'm going to give this a 1 Star for now. When it works it works great. But at this point with my LG v20 I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app every five calls. I've tried all the recommended settings I went to the forums and followed all the recommendations and all I can get five to six calls before it stops working entirely won't record anything. Then I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. Hoping for some help from the manufacturer. I paid the $10.95 for the professional version and I'm hopeful that the company will provide some support. Otherwise I will be looking for a refund. I'll keep you posted.

I'm giving this a 1 star for now because I have to switch between call modes ever 3 or 4 calls and I no longer know if it's actually recording or not. I have also taken to copying all the calls onto my pc on a regular basis because for some strange reason it seems to help. Using a galaxy s7 with all the recommended setting set, I'm tired of switching between mode 1 and 5 just to make the recording work again. Please fix this so I can upgrade this to the 5 stars it should have as when it works it is great!

I'd like a less BRIGHT WHITE screen option. I'm thinking it was a little confusing to figure out at first but once you get it it's an awesome app!! Like to record a memo or the man selling me a car without a neon sign saying HEY THEY RECORDING IS ON lol

It works great when it records calls, but I guess settings can change without you knowing about it. I paid for the Pro version and set it up. It seem to work fine for a long time. When I finally needed an important call recording it turns out it stopped recording calls at some point and I had to pay for Pro again. It says you can use a code from previously purchasing the app to re-authorize Pro, but there's no way to find the code.

It works great for me. I found a conflict with my free caller ID identifier. It was interfering with the startup process and muting the mic on my earbuds of all kinds and brands. When I dumped the caller ID app it started working great again. It's automatic, always there, always working. When banks and business lie to me, I have them on file!

OK - I have to give this five stars because it works as well as it does and I haven't found anything else that will. Problems? Trying to find the actual files it creates is a little geeky and unintuitive. Also testing showed that in my case at least - over Bluetooth it will not work at all. So you need to disconnect your bt headset (better sound anyway). Interface - pretty easy to use in the important ways.

This would work awesome if it recorded both sides on the call which was the reason I downloaded the damn app. Waste of space in my phone and a complete waste of time to use. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Was causing the phone app to hang when ending a call while recording, requiring a restart. Reinstalled the app. Now crashes on start. Sent system feedback. Nexus 6P running 7.1.1 (Resurrection Remix Rom with root). App was very good when working on 6.x. Will update this review when I can get it working again.

Stopped recording ALL TOGETHER. Tried ALL settings. Asked for a refund OR some practical help. Didn't get it. I checked everything but Still not working and no reply from you.❗❗ I'm no longer using boldbeast. Ignored my request for refund even though NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. B CAREFUL EVERYONE .

Not recording calls even after app is running on background in one plus 3t. I bought this app and using pro version. Waste of my money.

App stopped working and puts a pop up after every call. Tried a reset of the app to default setting, tried rebooting, restarting, and practically everything. It just does not work

It didn't work. Only recorded my side of convo and the sound quality was horrible if you switch it to voicemail, very noticeable that something is wrong with the line.

At last I got the call recorder which can be suitable for one plus 3t. But one problem ,it must be automatic.

I have tried for different free versions and then texted this one free version before buying the pro. It's the only one so far that reliably captures both sides of the call. It is ready to use and easy to use. Highly recommend

My earlier issue was rectified by the developer. I thank them once again. I am sorry to edit my review belatedly. Double thanks to the developer. The App is working tremendously.

Don't work well, I am using forum configuration from the OP, and last configuration from user in the forum, always record with metallic voice and caller voice in very low volume, Boldbeast can't manage record in Nexus 5X after all. Your work is great, don't bad me, only don't work on Nexus 5X, very difficult phone. Edit: I AM ROOTED, maybe you didn't read completely my explanation or my english is very bad.

No sound of already recorded calls. Moto G4 plus. Really just a waste of time

After trying over 20 call recording apps- this is the only one that would record BOTH SIDES of the conversation. NO ROOT REQUIRED! If you are having trouble getting both sides, go to settings and try different setups. I had to change to option 3. But the little fiddling to get it to work was worth it. Can't believe this is free with very few (almost unnoticeable) ads! Been using this for almost a year with no issues. I would rate this a 6☆ if i could. Try this one it's worth your time.

Only recorder that worked out of the box hence great. UI isn't the best but manageable. I've bought a new phone .. how do I transfer my license?

Will consider going pro after sufficient trials

I actually love this app its the best one but i recently switched phns i have an lg k7 and i download the app and it doesnt work i hit record and it records for 2 seconds then stops..i deleted the app but im trying again..im hoping u can fix the problem for my phn and i tried all the settings and nothing is working plz help me out

Cant tell you how important this app is for me. Recording conference calls that I can listen to later. I wish this app stays always this good!!!

So far so good. I'm already rooted on my Galaxy S4 so I went straight to the rooted options of the recorder. I do have 1 minor request. Could you add the ability to mute the mic at select times, such as the normal in call mute button (however, it doesnt mute the mic into the recording). I'm asking because this would be good to record voicemail, but you have to be in a quiet place to do so currently. Also, it would be interesting to know what parameters are used in each Record Mode.

Seems to work as expected, I don't make or receive a lot of calls but I tested it with my voicemail. Upgraded to the pro version to get it to Auto record, that's the only limit in the free version you have to remember to Tap a button on every call to start recording. ZTE Lever, I want to say Android 4.5? It's a no contract burn phone.

Its nice to see that call recording app is working in my moto g-1st gen. But only record voice of both sided audio when using lead or hand free to talk on call. I would like to rate 5star only, if it will record both side audio without lead and handfree mode.

Shame it needs root, but now (r4.1) works well at long last. Thank you.

I'm filming a movie and Youtube show where I need to conduct phone interviews. This app has been absolutely fantastic for recording 2 way calls and backing them up to my Google drive. Support this App!

After every call I am getting a popup like " From V7 you can change mobile 4 time per year "like this I dnt want to see this after evry call please tell me solution

I was using this app since two years in my 1st gen Moto G, now I have upgraded to Moto G4 Plus, none of the record mode works, pls suggest me a good record mode, then surely I'll give 5* rating

On Moto G4 plus Android 7.0 Nougat, It doesn't record any voice on voice call. It just records a blank note. Such a disappointment.

I have a Moto G4 running Nougat. Despite tinkering with several settings, this app did not work for me. No voice was recorded.

Working well on my Huwaii Nexus 6p. Incoming recorded volume is a bit low, but works. Bought the lifetime license. Great to go back at end of day & take notes, schedule & remind me of the details.

It is as good and clean as it looks. Too many settings n options. But simple kick ass. Thanks bold beast team

Does not record other person's voice on Google Pixel. Paid $10.00 for an app that does not work.
