Guía escrita por viajeros con experiencia, cuidando los detalles y haciendo que la visita de la ciudad se lo más fácil y agradable posible. Es una guía para saber qué visitar y cómo, con texto explicativo y experiencias. Incluye información básica sobre la ciudad, cómo llegar, cómo moverse por la ciudad, etc. Incluye un apartado ¿Qué ver? con explicaciones de todo lo que puedes encontrar y lo más interesante en el centro, la zona de la Magdalena y el Sardinero. Otra sección da a conocer los los monumentos, edificios y museos más importantes, como la catedral, el palacio de la magdalena o el museo marítimo del cantábrico.

La guía continua con algunos apuntes sobre que visitar alrededor de Santander, como las cuevas de Altarmira. También da bastante información sobre gastronomía y los mejores lugares para disfrutar de ella. La guía concluye con los mejores sitios para tomar algo, paseos en barco, una pequeña guía de playas, las mejores vistas de Santander y algunas rutas que hacer por la ciudad. Tiene un mapa con los puntos más importantes de Santander y otro con las Playas, incluye localización por GPS o conexión 3G.

No es símplmente una enumeración de lugares típicos que visitar, sino que está explicada la ciudad para saber siempre dónde estás y que hay a tu alrededor, haciendo posible que prepares tu viaje de una manera ordenada y le saques el máximo partido a Santander.
