Blondie is founded by vocalist Debby Harry and Chris Stein the guitarist in mid 70's, they gained succesfull in UK and Australia but still regarded as underground band in US untill they release third Album in 1978.

Later, they considered as major rock band in US. They combined disco, pop, reggae in their musical style. The band broke up in 1982. Debby Harry persue her solo career. Blondie reformed again in 1999 and renewed success with their legendary single Maria.
