Holy Moly!! This is a great app for a great routine breakout. I'm no professional, but I have been lifting seriously for the past year and a half and thought I was doing well. I'm just finishing week 1 and I have that awesome sore muscle feeling which I haven't felt for a long time. I love it because it tells me my muscles are getting shocked into growth. The videos are excellent and have already improved several of the moves I was already using. Jim is the man!

Absolutely love it! Great structure/advice and really easy to follow at any level. A little error I did notice was that week 2 has day 8 last in the list of exercises (day 9 first instead) this could cost you dearly when you realise the very next day in week 3 is also chest, triceps and calves workout!

Great app! The UI is great, I've never had any problems with it. The videos are very helpful, the calculator, the information about food, calories and fat are great! The only thing I think is missing is a way to save the weight we lifted on each exercise. With that it would be easier to keep track of our progress during the whole program.

I've just started using it and I found a annoying bug, on the last tab it show me my proper weight, 77kg, in the graph but at the top it says I'm 171kg... Also says I was 34kg on my first day before setting up anything

Kicking my ASS, only issue is there's a glitch and your day 8 is the last day of the second week rather than the first day so you have back to back chest day. Might want to fix that lol. AMAZING my weight increase has been 5 to ten pounds weekly

34yr old male. Always thought I had a great workout plan but this app proved me wrong. Better workouts in half the time at the gym. Certainly felt it the first week and noticed results the next. Learned about zma and stuck to a good mealplan. Thank you Jim S!

I could barely rep out 3 sets of 95 lbs bench. After 2 months following the program, I was at 165lbs bench! Looking forward to continuing on until I hit my goal of 200! Great program for us smaller, inexperienced old guys!

The shortcut to size program is a great approach to periodization!!! The weeekly microcycle approach keeps your body from adapting and becoming stagnant. Jim creates some great scientifically based programs and this app is an easy way to follow the shortcut to size system.

Constantly changes my age to 18 for some reason. Also reverts any weight updates I enter back to a previous entry. Last update also completely wiped my workout progress.

I've never been able to follow a program to the end but this app makes it easy. If you follow it to the letter you WILL see results. It will hurt though!

I'm doing this programme for the 3rd time now because it can be adapted to suit my schedule and it still isn't boring. It's a great programme that I have recommended to a number of other people, new to lifting and those more experienced. The app works a bit better than past versions but it would be good to be able make notes (for example the weights you use) next to each weeks exercise.

Weight measurements are bugged, the table shows an incorrect graph with incorrect weights. Start up weight also comes up incorrectly, apart from those small things an all round great app.

I wanted to find a new workout that would challenge me and keep me gaining, this workout does that and more. The best part is how easy it is to follow with the videos on how to use proper form and motivation from the app. This is a very well laid out app and a very good workout. After completing this series I will definitely be moving onto other of his workouts.

Done the first exercise only so far and it was grueling. Already super sore. Looking forward to competing it. 1 star penalty because it's baffling there is no tracker for your weight and reps built in. It's such a clean app and it's inclusion would have been such a natural fit. As a result, I have to follow the app as I work out and 40 times per workout have to exit the app to take notes in a separate app and write everything long hand. It's a nuisance and very odd to me. It would be so sweet to have all of my stuff right there, built in and reminding me each exercise what I did last week. I can tell it's going to be a real pain flipping back and forth and trying to reference my buried notes from the week prior.

Love this app! If you want to get big or bigger this the app for you Dr. Jim knows what he is doing and it shows on me. If you are going to start this prepare to feel the burn! trust me i do everytime i do one of dr jims workouts. It feels grate.

I followed this workout plan a couple years ago and saw real results! When I saw that they had put it into app form I was very happy. The only critique I would have: I would love to see a logging tool incorporated into every exercise within each workout to refer to see what weight progression you should make from week to week. Other than that, very satisfied with the app's functionality.

I've been lifting for a couple of years, and my results started to plateau, and I wasn't really getting that next day soreness anymore. Someone recommended this app to me, and it's incredible! It's really given a whole new kick to my workouts, and it's fun and extremely easy to follow. I'm only on day 9, but I feel stronger already! Get this app and get pumping!

Maybe I could use the app if it didnt keep restarting every time I closed it its no reason I need to put my stuff in to log in every time the fact it did that I stopped using the app how I I use if if every time I open it I got to log in put in my weight height etc etc technology not smart at all

This is the second workout from Jim that I am following. App makes it easy in the gym to see what's next exercise. Would love it if the app can have an option to record lifts. That will help with keeping track of the progress you have made during the program.

I installed it on my Mi4i Mobile, but it crashes/closes after signing in, and if I restart, it doesn't start and closes after showing flash screen. Please help, I didn't find any option to place my query other then giving it low rating.

Workouts can tend to go a bit past your pre workout regiment but if done properly you'll see much satisfying results.

The reset function does not work. Once I reset my previous progress to start my 12 week program again, it goes back to my previous progress after I restart the app.

Great for me trying to build muscle...... remember that excercise is half the battle, you must build good eating routine also so pay attention to nutrition part of program just as much as exercises, probably more attention!!!!

A very good program, only been using it one week. The progress is good if you follow the suggested diet. The exercises are very varied although keeping the core strength exercises between exercises. Highly recommended!

Definitely the most well laid out app for exercise I've ever seen. Gives a detailed layout and full explanation of every aspect from the lift, to the nutrition, to the supps. Kudos to Jim Stoppani.

Awesome guide from a real master of training. You will see results after your first week amd have a better understanding of why you do these exercises. Fully recommend.
