ছিলেন পার্সি‌য়ান ইসলামি পন্ডিত ও হাদিস সংগ্রাহক। তিনি জামি আত-তিরমিজি হাদিস গ্রন্থের সংকলক। এই গ্রন্থ কুতুব আল-সিত্তাহর অন্যতম এবং এটি সুন্নিদের মধ্যে সম্মানিত। এছাড়াও তিনি শামাইল মুহাম্মাদিয়াহ (শামাইল আত-তিরমিজি নামে পরিচিত) গ্রন্থের রচয়িতা। এটিও একটি হাদিস গ্রন্থ। এতে মুহাম্মদ (সা) এর ব্যক্তি ও চরিত্র সম্পর্কে হাদিস রয়েছে। আত-তিরমিজি একজন দক্ষ আরবি ব্যকরণবিদ ছিলেন। Persian Islamic scholar and collector of hadith.
