Didn't even want to purchase the ebook in the first place because I knew I wouldn't be able to access the book offline. This is also the reason why I didn't want to download the app. But I did since this was the only version the book available. The app sucks! I can't even log in to get to the book on my phone, so I uninstalled and will be printing the pages I need which is an inconvenience when I could have had the book in hand. And the book it self is crazy expensive. Why is it 120 something dollars????? Will never use this service again.

I'm not able to recreate any of the problems everyone else is talking about. Rented my textbook on my laptop and made an account there, received my text almost instantly, then downloaded the app. It honestly runs very smoothly for me! Really glad this was an option, it cut my cost for my textbooks by over half!! So grateful. If only all of them were like this

The app keeps crashing every time I scroll to the next page in my e-book. I have to go through several crashes and reopens before it finally stays open long enough to read through a page, but then crashes again after scrolling to the next page. I am using the app on my Samsung tablet (plenty of storage space and great Internet connection). The app is required in order for me to access my e-book for school, and the crashes are making it difficult for me to complete my studies. I have sent three or four reports of the crashes without receiving any feedback or assistance. PLEASE FIX THE CRASHING ISSUE!

Super terrible performance. The app is sluggish even on an iPad Mini 4. I bought an ASUS tablet to help with reading and waiting upwards 10 seconds per page flip is astonishingly bad. The iPad is better with a 3 to 5 second delay between page flips. I rented books through this expecting an experience similar to kindle or iBooks or even a basic pdf reader and kinda got shafted. I will go with Amazon in the future if the opportunity arises.

This is not a well built app whatsoever. It asks me to login, and then it sends me directly to the website via my browser...I can do that on my own...thanks. Then, when I'm in the browser and I'm in the book, I click on "Launch App" and it sends me to the Play Store and gives me the error message "Item not found." P.S. - The books on the web aren't very user friendly either by the way. It's unfortunate that the, now one and only, book store cannot create very good ebooks.

The customer support is terrible. They'll respond to you once per day, and they don't even listen to what you're telling them. The app works fine, but the customer service has really soured my experience here.

I have been trying for 3 days straight to access an ebook purchased and can't even login. I called Yuzu 6 times, no response. Left messages, no response. Sent an email, no response. Now I know one of the reasons why people pirate books. I ordered a physical copy of the book and will get a refund from B&N and never deal with Yuzu again.

Was hesitant to download bc of the 2.0 rating and bad reviews but the app is running smoothly and I'm able to access my books, I'm having no issues so far. Keep up the good work!!

I have been trying to access the app on my phone and I keep getting the message *Internal Server Error* when trying to sign in even though my sign in credentials are accurate.

In the middle of taking a test and it crashes and won't come back up. Sweet I now have no books for my courses.

I Couldn't get past the profile page. It kept wanting me to update my info but after I hit 'update' it wouldn't do anything more. An associate walked me through the issue and got my account up and running. I can navigate through the app with ease and it works great!

This app needs more work. I've ordered electronic textbooks in the past and no problems. My first is the loading of every page as stated before I own alot of electronic textbooks and I use various apps and programs like foxit and adobe to view them and I can flip pages without any loading but on this app every page has to load up its very frustrating. My biggest issue is the fact that I can't just download the books onto my computer or ereader and view them in a different app if I had known I would be forced to use this app and only this app to view my books I would've just bought the ebooks straight from the publisher. Never again will I order books from here

I'm in my first week of school and I can not open my books. Since your help support by phone and email is a waste of time. I see your website is still down I think its safe to just get my money back. Too bad I would rather digital copies over hard copies.

App and online reader stuck on profile update page.Contacted customer service. After many emails and and looking for my receipt from a year ago(I found it so they can't pull some crap on me), I got access to my book through bookshelf by vital books. They have no idea how to fix the Yuzu problem. They said I would get an email when they figure it out. I won't hold my breath. Stay away from Yuzu. This is just not reliable. Their e reader is terrible. Buy the hard copy. No internet required.

All i get is an error message. Im 3 weeks into my semester and cannot access my books. I need them and shouldn't have to pay for these books twice. I got an email saying the issue should be resolved soon but it never got fixed and i got no other emails telling me the next steps. Please fix this so i can access my books or give me my money back

I feel this may have potential, but I'm having the same problem as everyone else. I attempt to sign in on either the Android ~OR~ the Web Version I am simply directed to the profile update page, which has no way of progressing. The profile page also continuously changes my gender to Female. I am holding off purchasing my materials until I am positive they can be accessed using this app. Seeing as everyone is having the ~same exact issue~, if it can be resolved, perhaps it would be wise to simply post a step-by-step fix or add the proper way to access the apps features as a tutorial that appear before the login page. I have a feeling the solution for this issue is something as simple as the application not being as user friendly as it should be.

I open the app, it tells me to login with my college bookstore login. It brings me to the site and I log in... then nothing. Nothing happens. I go back to the app and it still tells me to login. I've restarted the app and my entire tablet numerous times and retired and nothing. I really need this to work.. and it's not.

I will never purchase a book that uses this app again. The webreader doesn't work nor the phone app. All I keep doing is logging in and getting nowhere. I should have just purchased the expensive book would have had less headaches!

Pulled up fine yet will not get past the profile page. I have already attempted to contact Yuzu through e-mail, phone, and a trouble ticket to no avail. Do not buy any ebooks from them as you may not be able to access them in time for classes. *****Update-One person from their customer care seems to be doing all the work. He was able to get me up and running in a matter of 30 minutes. The program has been easy to use so far and the only real complaint I have right now is that you have to click to the right to change pages but that's no biggie since it at least works fully-

After the struggle of not being able to log in, the moderator of these reviews corrected my extremely simple issue in 5 minutes over email. Their phone line is unreliable as is the ticket system, but there is one good cookie on their team. App is highly usable once inside and functions well with page navigation.

The app itself won't even let me log into my bookstore account because it crashes when it opens the Internet. But other than that, Yuzu itself is a crappy service with even worse customer service. I bought an ebook through my college B&N bookstore on Wednesday and am still unable to get past the profile page on Friday. Customer service does not answer phone calls or emails. Do not even attempt Yuzu, period.

Don't have the eBook I paid for. They don't answer the phone. Three days and no response to a support ticket submitted online.

Did not work, kept getting error messages. Calling support was a joke! They have you on hold for 20 minutes and then a recording comes on the line stating that they are unable to take your call and to leave a message, I wish that I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. I have never experienced this before and my entire undergraduate study were e-Books. I am beyond pissed as I start school this week!

No matter what device I use, Android or PC I'm just stuck at updating my profile, incredibly annoying with school in a week. EDIT: Once your book order goes through the app works great. Changed to 5 stars.
