Top5’s Thriller Magazine

I really enjoy top 5 and Thriller Magazine. The mag has a wide selections both known and unknown to me. I like it that the selections are short and not drawn out and convoluted. Makes for creepy reading anywhere, anytime!

I've been a big fan of the videos, and am not disappointed by the magazine. Keep it up! *Edit* So now an issue disappeared, and I have seen two issue notifications pop up but can't see them, please fix, I like the magazine!

Love the magazine's only gripe I have is that they are quite short but overall I enjoy them and looking forward to the next issue. I've been a subscriber for a month now. Keep it up & the YouTube channel you have is one of my favourites and I've told alot of my family and friends about the magazine & YouTube channel. Awesome.

Update - (8/5/17) This is soooooo frustrating. Still haven't been able to get the latest issue. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times (which I shouldn't have to do but usually works). Anyone else having this problem still? Is there some trick?!! I'm about to have to uninstall sand unsubscribe. P.S. - The "contact us" link is some kind of a cruel joke I think Update - (6/10/17) The 3rd issue never showed up on my app. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app for it to show up. BLVNP needs to figure it out. Love the YouTube channel. And I like the app so far. There were a few mistakes in articles. One article didn't complete a sentence and just skipped to the next paragraph. Also, I'm not sure if it's my phone or the app but it's somewhat tricky to swipe the page up to continue reading, the app instead wants to swipe over to the next story. Maybe add an arrow or "next story" button instead. I know these are all bugs that will be worked out and I'm excited to see the direction this magazine goes. Hate that I missed out on the Top5 council of 100!

Love it but only thing is is the mag is to short and takes forever for a new one. But absolutly love it and cant wait to read more

I can't get the latest magazine. I uninstalled, and reinstalled it and lost 2 months of magazines. It's frustrating, because I'm not getting what I paid for

So far I'm enjoying it but wish they came out more regularly

Great magazine!

I have in the past few months been happy to support even when I have paid my subscription and had to uninstall a few times to get the monthly mag but now it only shows the first three and not received the new volume. When you go to the help section it says that there is no email to contact and also to set up your phone email, but still no information on what that means As it has been like that for a while. As I said very happy to support but please fix this, I want to enjoy what I've paid for.

We joined to support the top 5s YouTube channel. Found the magazine a bit rough and ready to begin with but interesting and it's only getting better and slicker with each issue. Lots of fascinating articles popular plus less well-known subjects that entice you to investigate further.

Great app for anyone looking for a good read and great entertainment. Always keeps me hooked!

I love this app i have been a top 5 fan for a while now and the media they produce is 5*. The new update is a big help as i was having problems navigating the app on my phone and that is now fixed. One thing i would like is being able to select a picture and be able to zoom in on that picture because on my phone they are very hard to see. Keep up the hard work and ty for a great app!

Im a huge Top 5's fan and this really captures the essence and makes for great reading material. The app itself is quite tricky to navigate but its only a first version.

The content of the articles are superb; however, the editing leaves a lot to be desired. Bad writing and grammar is aggravating, especially when it is found repetitively in professional writing. Will give them a few more issues to see if this gets better.

The magazine got a 4/5 star and the app got 0/10, so averaged 2 stars. The app is really really bad. No side bar bookmarks for the stories in the magazine, bad gesture detector that detects slanted swipe up and down as left and right, bad hci and informative feedbacks, buttons are not updated when downloads are completed(hello basics 101 of building a android app: responsive Ui) and finally no 1 page view instead of multipage. Whoever the developer is, he needs to really review his work and evalute it with user tests before releasing it.

Eh. This app needs work, even connected to wifi, magazines may or may not download and it takes FOREVER. A website that we pay to be a party of might work better then this nonsense.

Had this for a month, couldn't open it ONCE. What a waste. It also makes Top 5's look bad.

I enjoyed the stories. They weren't overly long but informative. I believe this magazine has potential to become better and succesful.

None of the articles open so I cancelled my subscription but I'm still getting charged :/ help please!

I surprised how interesting and complex that mag is .Its for persons that like unknown and mister of our world.

Needs Work I love subject content and top 5 videos are very well presented. However the app certainly isn't worth the monthly charge for such small content. I think of other magazines whose content are far more detailed for a slightly more charge eg: Fortean Times. App interface has to be navigated, and although I got free trial the updated magazine never appeared??? It would be a shame for such a great content idea to be let down by a poor application. I'm un installing but will keep looking in.

I couldn't figure out how to unsubscribe. I eventually did, and uninstalled the app. I was told I still had until May 25 to use the app, as I have been charged twice for it. Now I can't access the app for the final installment that I have already paid for without subscribing again. Help!

Great app/magazine but it isn't updating properly. I didn't get the latest magazine when it came out

Very interesting! Love it!

I have been a supporter of the YouTube channel for some time now and I love the content. When I heard about the magazine I was immediately intrigued. I must say that it isn't perfect, especially the interface needs work. However the articles are immensly interesting and fun to read which is the main thing. Being lucky enough to get into the inner circle I am thoroughly excited to see the magazine into the future.

I absolutely love the top5's YouTube channel along with a few other channels like it. I find your videos the most interesting and the voice that goes along with it makes them perfect. For the app though it's of low quality and the design and layout off the app is very poor. May subscribe at a later date if this is worked on but for now I'll stick to the videos

Why does this look exactly liked the "Beyond Science " magazine? I know it's the same company but the similarities are practically identical! It seems to me, the Noah's Ark article is a copy of the one that ran in their mag. And also in the 2nd issue, there is an already published article by Brad Steiger. This is so disappointing. Also, did you not hire a proof reader? Heck, I'll do it! I think the price of $5.49(CDN) a month is a little too steep especially for articles that have already been published elsewhere.

Needs work. The stories are very engaging but, there are some spelling errors such as "axeaxe" in the tower of london segment and also I find the overall design to be lacking. But I feel these issues will probably be addressed in future updates and definitely when the app becomes reasonably profitable.

Coming from South Africa and not getting many of these types of magazines. I really loved it. The content is awesome. Being a new app there may be one or two things to fix, but the content makes up for it :)

Love the YouTube channel and love the idea for the magazine. Knowing that this is just a couple of first issues, i will certainly give a pass to a very amateurish feel to it. I am sure that as time goes, the magazine will evolve in to a more professional publication. Some of my personal feedback: Please proof read - typing mistakes and sometimes parts of text are missing. Edit the magazine - it is the job of an editor to make sure articles flow nicely and easily. At the moment articles, while being interesting, feel all over the place. Use more headers and separations. Give a bit of an introduction to an article before jumping right into the topic. Work on presentation - add more decorative elements to pages and articles. Make it more appealing to the eye, rather then just having boring black text on white background. Instead of having each "page" for the whole article, maybe try doing a printed magazine feel - standard sized pages having articles that take several pages. That would help you create one template for all pages. It is easier to work with text when you have templates to just add text to.

This app is great however it is extremely difficult to scroll down as it constantly wants to move to the next page instead of smoothly moving down. If it had some sort of locking to the text I'm trying to read, somewhat more stable, then I would easily and willingly rate it 5 stars.

I love Top5s and all things horror, but this app was rather buggy for me. Even though I downloaded both issues of the magazine, it keeps asking me to download them again. Also, there are two spots in the first article (Europe's Strangest Disappearance) of the first issue that get cut off. The paragraphs' last sentences just suddenly trail off with no ending or punctuation. I wanna know the full story! Will rate 5/5 if the article issue is fixed.

Nice to see more esoteric/para-science literature about, especially in app form, but with numerous spelling, grammar and layout errors, this still has a way to go. Hope it improves in time, but stick with Fortean Times for now.
