BEEKS Beacon Maker for Android
Cannot even program devices. Fails every time. Brand new bluvision IBEEK beacons. very disappointed as I'm trying to use these is a product prototype.
Just updated from 1 to 3 stars. Figured out that I could connect if only a single beacon was in range. Can change various things, but modifying Eddystone settings (url, etc) is not working. App just hangs, requiring phone reboot. Very frustrating. Perhaps things have to be done in a certain order? The beacon appears to be terrifically capable. But that doesn't matter if I can't program/control it. Will revise this review if I get things figured out.
Now it can find my beacon, but it says "Authorization failed" invalid password. How do I find the password? Is it printed on the beacon? Because that number isn't working.
Had trouble finding the beacon sometimes but works well once it does. A trick I found with this 1.3 version of the app is to go into Settings/Apps/Beeks and click 'Force Stop'. Reopen the app and it'll find it immediately. To the Devs you need to kill your processes when you leave the app. Was using an Eddystone iBeeks beacon, Android 6 on Nexus 5. Of course make sure bluetooth is turned on, the app should check for it but doesn't.

This app seems to work ok but it does not detect the beacon type correctly, and that's why I think it hangs when trying to write the Eddystone config. So it's essentially useless except for changing the advertisement rate.
