6-4-3 Baseball Scorecard for Android
Great app, have used it a couple of games, keeping stats for each of ur players is awesome and the fact that you can go back and edit the events in case you make a scoring error is a +, highly recomended
Non intuitive. Paper and pencil would be better. Continues to hang up on next batter. Line up function is good.
Hit by Pitch needs to be corrected to record as a pitch thrown....then 5 stars.
Great app! Best scoring app I've found. MLB stats download feature is awesome, if occasionally out of date
"Clunky at best. When a batter hits a grounder to force out a player already on base for the third out, that batter will then lead off the next inning. And there's nothing you can do about it. None of the contact links on the 643 faq page linked to anything so no way of finding out how to score a simple force and have the correct batter lead off the next inning. Doesn't appear to be written by someone whose ever scored a game with paper and pencil" The previous was the result of alot of frustration. I WAS contacted by the app's designer and given all the information I needed to avoid that scenario in the future, and in fairness changed my review. I still think there could be improvements to fix a user screw up, but overall it's a very good app, and the customer service is actually first rate.
To make this a 5 star app, they need better editing capabilities. I wanted to delete a wrong at bat, and it is not possible. Messed up my scorecard because of that. I wanted to change a hit but the edit screen won't let me. I want to love this app, but it you aren't nearly perfect entering the at bats, you are out of luck and will end up with an incorrect scorecard.
I converted from pencil & scorecard to this app for over a year now. At first it was a little confusing but it really got easy once you figure the tricks. This has changed my way of scoring a game. I played an entire APBA season and haven't had an issue. If I mess up keeping a stat during the game, I can go back and edit the score sheet before I finalize the game. You might get irritated because of certain extra steps, but you can always turn off those in Preferences. Just stick with it , trust me!
I really like this definitely worth the money. Takes some getting used to but if you know anything about score keeping you can get it pretty easily. Could use some more customizable features. Easily start a game can drop into the middle of a game no problem.
Needs update for lollipop support. Been using this for a few years now and now after software update, more difficult to draw a line to base paths for scoring and I had a issue where a batter grounded out to end the inning and he led off the next inning. Fix needed.
I downloaded this app on my tablet and i am unable to draw the line from home to 1st for a hit. Is this an issue because of the tablet?
It's like Money Ball for Little League. One day the son of my son's baseball team's coach was at first base. He was looking kind of tired. A batter came to the plate. I pulled out 6-4-3, the score keeping app I was using, and it told me that the batter had previously hit once to first and once to right field. Just before the pitch I yelled “Gordon, the ball is coming to you”, just like that the pitcher threw the ball and the batter hit a line drive toward right, but Gordon’s eyes and opened and he jump 2 feet and got it. His mom was standing near me, and gasped "How did you know?"
I like the app overall, however when you're trying to record how an out occurred it is almost impossible to touch the positions and recorded properly. Since you can't move on without doing that it makes using the app impossible.
Love the app. After the learning curve, I enjoy it immensely. Having a recent technical issue though. The app seems to shut down when importing MLB rosters. Anyone else reporting this issue?
Hit by Pitch needs to be corrected to record as a pitch thrown....then 5 stars.
I've paid for app and it is incomplete please help me fix it or please refund my money! !!!
The ability to not undo once you advance the batter is what brings this score down. Otherwise it's a good program.
As close to paper scoring as I've found.
Could be more optimal, but what it does, it does well
Great app to score a game. Offers MLB roster update!
I have been using scoring apps since they were in DOS format. I have scored for high school and college baseball teams. I know scoring. Currently, my interest is in teaching my nephew to keep score at NY Mets games. This app seems simple to use at first, but as soon as things get more complicated than a simple 6-3 or f8, you're in for a challenge. This app was very frustrating to use. We have been using iScore with the MLB addition for the last few games, it is rather expensive, but it is worth it; it is completely intuitive unlike this app.
Just used it for a game but was disappointed with a few things. No feature to show when hit by the ball while batting, should be a quick feature for stealing bases, walking should advance automatically.
I downloaded this app to help out boys' team keep stats. The app doesn't allow me to finish scoring a single game! App freezes or stops working, giving me an "invalid player move" message. I've also lost games when it didn't save them. I want money back!
Easy to use. A few learning curves but then you're good to go.
Best scorecard app. Period.
It seemed OK, but I couldn't get the runners to advance easily. Would like my money back truthfully.
i love this app being a mlb worker it one of the best apps i used the only thing is i can't get version for my window tablet..... please make one for windows
Only a couple of issues, Hit by pitch doesn't add a pitch to pitch count, and once in a while the stats page will add hits to the the runs in the bottom of the 9th instead of the x when the home team wins and there is no bottom 9. still all in all a awesome application.
Any idea how to save the roster for a mlb game and and start a game and save for later so I can have the avg rbi and hr. But when I go to start the game later it looks as though all the stats are erased. I won't have internet connection when I go to the ballpark and would like a work around this. Any idea? Thanks for the great app!
Great app and fast tech support
This thing is sweet!! Just tooka few minutes to validate. Hit chart is awesome!! Best scorekeeping app out there
Fantastic!!! Does more than I thought it would. Not hard to learn and blew away Game Changer as far as I am concerned. But try the others and see for yourself. I use this for my daughters fast pitch softball games and & use iScore for my sons baseball games just for a change of pace
Learning a lot on how to score a game with this app.
Works well on phone but stuck on validating screen on galaxy tab. Won't work for me
Do not waste your money, not very user friendly. !
I was having issues learning to use this program (my fault not the apps) so I contacted the developer. He responded immediately and graciously helped me figure out what I was doing wrong! Other developers should take special note! The app is easy enough to use, I'm just brain-dead at times! k@
The app rates a four, the developers quick, helpful response to my questions makes it a 5+. Love the downloadable rosters and setting up the batting order on the fly. You can't go wrong with this solid app and great developer.
I keep score of every ball game I watch, whether at the game or watching it on TV and this app is the best way to do it! At the game its much easier keeping score in the palm of my hand instead of carrying around a book and pencil, and at home I can keep score in one hand while holding my newborn in another. And its just as detailed as it would be if I were writing it in a scorebook. Its the perfect app for baseball fans and coaches.
This is a great app. My only complaint would be that if u have runners on and the batter walks then it is obvious that everyone moves up a base. This should be auto done. Sometimes it is hard to tell who you are trying to move. All that being said I still like it. Change a couple of things and I give it 5 stars. I still recommend this app.

I've been looking for baseball scorekeeping Android app. Most baseball scorekeeping apps look like they were designed using Windows 95. I thought I would pay for an app so that maybe I would satisfy my quest. I am still looking. 6-4-3 is kind of clunky, but it gets the job done. What it does not do is give you a method to fix a mistake. Lets say you make a mistake and move on to the next inning.. Since mine involved shifting a batter to the next inning, it is impossible to fix. You are stuck and you may as well close it out the game and start knitting. The one thing I thought was cheesy was the option to download MLB rosters. I was pleased that it offered this option. I was disappointed that it is September 2016, and the rosters that it downloads are dated back to June. That's pure laziness for people who are buying your app.
