SignalCheck Pro for Android
I use this app everyday through work doing RF signal testing and it is far and away the best app for diagnosing your current connection. Also on Sprint it shows Carrier Aggregation info which is nice. A few complaints I noticed in other reviews were the lack of 1x info, I'd like to point out that if the device is an eCSFB or CSFB device using one radio it will only show the current connection so if you're connected to LTE you will only get LTE info, it's the way the phone is made not the app's issue.
Great app for the most part. Only problem I notice is that the status bar icons don't seem to color-invert like other icons do when the status bar turns a light color. So, if the status bar is light then other icons turn grey-ish but SignalCheck icons stay white so you can't see them.
Awesome app when it works on my Nexus phones and pixel XL. But it never works on my honor 8. I definitely have LTE and I can use the internet just fine, but the app keeps telling me that there is no LTE connection.
Doesn't work on dual sim phones, doesn't show new AT&T band 30, doesn't show carrier aggregation. Fine otherwise, just needs updated. UPDATE: still no support for above.....
Best I've found for getting detailed information about my mobile data connection for Project Fi on multiple carrier networks. First I saw to accurately report T-mo band-12 usage, and Bell/Rogers in Canada.
The app is pretty straightforward and I am looking forward to keeping my carrier honest. I am learning. A quick question: address information does not display on cell sites. Only something like "0.1 m N." Any ideas on how to turn this feature on? I have everything enabled. Using HTC 10 on Sprint. Android 6.0.1.
Good app, but would be better if it catered for tha Australian market. Also be good if it showed band number the phone isi currently using.
That & the lack of updates. Please update, I paid for this!
Cool app I just need to understand it more.. Hopefully sometime in the future they can add a Map of your location and show antenna sites..
Have never had a problem with this app on any of my previous phones, but my Honor 8 displays 'No Connection' regardless of what type of network it is connected to.
The only thing that isn't showing up on my phone is band 30 on at&t. Great app though
We don't have Verizon in Dominican Republic. Carrier name is Claro instead of Claro
I paid for this app, and it needs a SERIOUS UPDATE. Needs to reflect 3xCA correctly and different band aggregations. Keep up the great work!
I'm on AT&T and whenever I'm on band 30, the statusbar icon says either band 2 or 17(whatever the previous band was)
Please add support for dual SIM phones, app only displays info about one signal.
No signal info for WCDMA/HSPA. The Lite version does show the info. I love the app but I'm disappointed
It doesn't show the physical address of the tower your connected to
Ok but needs to add CARRIER AGGRESSION mode to tell which bands are CA.
Great for sprint users knowing if your on band 41 and 26 especially on rooted device.
"Connected to LTE" and "LTE no connection" messages on same screen. No other data.
Please upgrade jeep 4 nougat note 5 sprint. Neighbor cells read in single digits.
In the menu Lte engineering shows Lte band 2
Great for monitoring the carrier, band and roaming partner info on Project Fi.
Shows No Connection when on HSPA or WCDMA on Galaxy S7.
Great app, have used it on multiple devices, and will on my axon7 6GB too.
Works on 7.1.1 beta
Very good, thanks.
Powerful but mysterious
great app
Ok when I bought this app I had it so my LTE/1x would be up top on header. Now the 1x won't stay there I have to have it on wifi for it to work. Please fix this.....
Good app, but would be better if it catered for tha Australian market. Also be good if it showed band number the phone isi currently using.
The root feature that allows you to find your earfcn works! My phone does not have an engineering menu so this helps a lot! (im on t-mobile btw)
I always find myself going to the hidden menus to access information about my LTE signal. No longer! Thanks! Material design would be appreciated however, and the ability to determine Carrier Aggregation on AT&T. Thanks a lot!
Use to work great. After my LG v10 updated to 6.0 it always says no connection
Keep up the great work!
Great for sprint users knowing if your on band 41 and 26 especially on rooted device.
Running on the Samsung Galaxy S4, Doesn't show the Signal strength in dbm, and no information on main screen of app. Only W-CDMA... showing N/A in the notification bar...... I hope I didn't waste my money
Being a technical support for Wilson Electronics, we rely heavily on signal strength since the bars are a pathetic joke. I used Advanced Signal Status in the past that would break down 3G signal info and 4G signal info but it would give you a ton of data that wasn't useful and served to confuse customers I was working with. This app give you the same info in a simple interface that is easily read that is still accurate. I can't recommend this app enough. Edit: We have tested its accuracy for Verizon and Sprint but not AT&T or T-Mobile as of yet.
This works well on one phone, barely works on another! The Good: I decided to try this out since I am experimenting with Project Fi and wanted to see which network/signal I was connected to at home/work/etc. On a Nexus 5x and with Project Fi, it works great: lets me know which network, which band, and signal strength. Helpful for figuring out which network I am benefiting from on Fi. the Bad: I have an Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803) on AT&T which *does* get LTE signals, as evidenced by the system and the download speeds I get. This app does not seem to work with the Sony. It says "connected to LTE" and "LTE no connection" at the same time and in the notification bar shows "--" for which band and signal strength. I have tried several other similar apps and they *do* show the correct info such as "band 17 -98 dBm" so I am not sure what the deal is. Since it works for the device I really needed it for, I give it 4 stars, but not being compatible with a totally stock device costs it 1 star.

This app unfortunately does not seem to work with Huawei devices and their Kirin processors. It will only show your WiFi connection and no cellular information. So try out the free version before you waste your money on the pro version!
