About BCBSMA MyBlue Member App

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts members can use the MyBlue Member App to look up their personal health care information quickly and easily from the convenience of their mobile device. To use the app, members must register using their account number located on their member ID card.

Members can use the app to:
• Access an interactive ID card, and email a copy to their doctor
• Direct dial important phone numbers, like Member Service and our 24-hour Blue Care nurse line
• Review recent claims, doctor visits, and prescriptions
• Find nearby doctors, dentists, and hospitals
• View information for dependents under 18
• Get driving directions to hospitals and doctor offices
• Review spending accounts, such as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health
• Reimbursement Agreement (HRA), or Health Spending Account (HSA)

Pro: Did what it intended with providing necessary information without having to carry a physical card. Con: The fingerprint scanner didn't work. Opportunity: Create an Unlock Screen widget for emergency situations where a stranger may have your phone. It can include stuff like emergency contracts or allergies.

Find care has no back navigation. I have to begin my search all over again. Only an insane app designer would build something like this.

Version 1.0 won't open at all. Version 2.0 won't let me login or register. Overall, these apps are useless, and makes getting access to member cards extremely difficult.

This app was pretty much useless. Can't login, called the number, machine the whole time and it said it "updated" my information at the end, whatever that means. So yeah, they should spend a little money and get this app fixed.

I don't have a last name. This is perfectly legal and not unheard of as mononyms (single names) are common in plenty of cultures such as Indonesia. For some reason this is supported in all of BCBS' systems except for MyBlue, and they weren't allowed to change it. So I have to use a different name as my legal one on my license, and I had to jump through several hoops to initiate that change. In the mean time, any claims I may have will not be able to process.

It's stuck on the opening splash screen. Nothing happening, no buttons, no reactions to anything, no requests to register. It's basically a picture that tells that yes, I have downloaded the Massachusetts MYBLUE app. Nice graphic design though. :P

I tried to find an orthopedist near me but according to the app there is nobody around me... but I have an appointment for tomorrow with one orthopedist 3 miles away from my house. IMPROVE YOUR SEARCH ENGINE!

Doesn't update usage info, can't track spending on deductibles. Cigna's mobile app is far superior and much more useful.

Works great on my Galaxy 7 Edge. I manage both my account and my wife's. Would be nice to be able to flip accounts on this but only built for one subscriber.

It shows your card details and the rest is the same as viewing the website. A bit clunky, but it works. 3 stars for digital card display, although I'm not sure if offices will be happy I want to email them my card instead of handing them one. Time will tell. Stock N6P, no crashes like the other reviewer.

Can't use it as a member at all, the fields for information entry at registration don't work, SS# doesn't even have the right number of fields to accept the number.

I continue to receive error messages when using the app. It also has the wrong product listed since the upgrade.

The app should have other ways of registering or verifying your information than by asking for your social security number. As an international student I do not have a SS# and therefore I cannot use the app. As soon as I downloaded it, I deleted it.
