BlueAnt Android Application

Clearly has not been updated and does not work with Marshmallow (android 6). It just shuts down.

Finally got the app to work on my Note 3. Words do not translate perfectly and voice is a bit fast...descent though and I will try to adjust read back speed to compare

Since phone upgraded to lollipop T1 no longer calls out caller id just phone number

I cannot get this to work with my Galaxy S7. It shuts down when I try to open. I can get the speaker to answer calls (on its own without the app) but it will not read messages or let me call out. I cannot navigate with instructions thru the speaker. Any ideas? I have already uninstalled and downloaded again.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Edge7 & ever since the latest software update my Q2 is not working like it's supposed too. A little window pops up saying "it has unfortunately stopped" (or something like that). I have sent SEVERAL emails trying to get this issue resolved, and yet to those day 3/26/17 there is no reply back from anyone!!

Keeps crashing 4 me also. However I emailed support and they got back with me in a very timely fashion. They are looking into it now

Crashes on everything. Startup, crashes. Pressing buttons, crashes. I've never seen anything crash as fast or as often.

When I attempt set up app it closes on every action. App fails to recognize device already connected.

I can't believe they published an app that crashes upon opening. I contacted support and I was told that the app crashes because I have other apps installed that perform the same function. I was given a series of steps to fix it, I followed them......and nothing! Next I was given a list of things that might be wrong with my phone. As someone who works in IT I found this pathetic. You build an unstable app, but it must be my phone?!?!

So disappointed!!! Every time I open the app it says "Unfortunately Blueant has stopped' It worked fine on my Samsung 4, but I now have a Samsung 5 and it won't work. I can't imagine what the problem is. There seems to be no help available.

It does nothing. Every time you open it up it says that the app is not responding and shuts down. There's no tech support. Live chat always says that their tech's are too busy to answer. That's a lot of money to pay for something and it doesn't work right and you can't get help to get it to work right

This app really doesn't do much. I mean it connects to the device (in which you could do by simply turning on your bluetooth or going to your settings) and gives you a couple of tips for the device that you are using. Thats it. No battery status or anything like that. Not a very hard thing to add in and it's very disappointing that they didn't in the first place.

Downloaded this app several times. When I attempted to use it, I get "unfortunately bluea nt has stopped working. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. Android version 6.0.1. Maybe those IT types can fix it so my money isn't wasted. Or is it that you can't.

S4 fails at minus ten degrees Celsius and below. Winter time. Needs to heat car salon to get it working. Tried to address my concern through the corporation website - no such provisions for customers.

Ever since the new update, the application doesn't even open on my Galaxy S6 Active. I even reinstalled... now my $80.00 blue tooth is useless. Not cool

It used to work good. But since Android 7 update it is useless. Another headset wasted.

Same problem as a few other reviews my Q3 reads sometimes and then nothing. Still announces the name of my caller but the text thing needs improving

The app doesn't work. The registration download does not work. I love the headset my second one. The first one broke manufacturer poor volume control quality. I like the headset otherwise I'd send it back just because they can't do apps or software for Windows.

Blueant can't be bothered to update the app and basically gives its users the finger.

It usually only reads the first text I receive while the app is running and ignores the rest. That's fine with me because, when it does start to read a message, there's no way to stop it, which is annoying if it's just some informational text, like about a sale at a store. Also, I listen to music on my phone through the car stereo, and this app stops the music when it takes over to read the text, but it doesn't restart it. My phone and BlueAnt device pair just fine without this app, so I'm dumping it.

Blue Ant devices are awesome this app sucks no matter what phone i use it on cant get the ribbon, or Commute to read text msg .. this app clearly does not work on newer versions of android.

My phone and blue ant did not wanna play anymore for weeks I have been fighting to get them to re - pair mode again. Nope so I stumbled on this app. Though never know maybe it will kick start the pair mode. Magic I'm paired and have my messages read to me. No messing around at some app. Maybe not with a blue ant device but mine is blue ant. Love it

Crashes every time you attempt to go through the menu. Must have sent 5 crash reports in the first 5 minutes of downloading after having uninstalled it three times

Love hearing txt messages through my bluetooth so I don't have to look at my phone while I'm driving it saves lives.

It worked well with older samsung phones but cant pick up my galaxy a3. Pse add. Cheers sori. I mean my blueant v1.53 no media sound.

Wonder how are these developers are allowed to put apps in this store that has no functionality.

They should also make this app for Nokia Lumia as well (when Cortana becomes available). Another good improvement they could do is make the features hangouts compatible. But it does work beautifully with My Traffic Alert App, not a single passenger can hear or suspect a thing because the notifications are heard through the earpiece instead.

No gimmicks, just straight to the point and excellent UI. The device (Q3) works awesome with my Sony Xperia Z3v. Better than the others. And I've had the best of the best of bluetooth devices and corresponding apps... BlueAnt takes the cake! Good Job, BlueAnt! OBIPIX GAMING TECH AND ADVANCED CONCEPTS LLC.

I tried to use this program called blueant for android, I uninstalled this blueant program it doesn't do anything. and I'm using a program called utter it's like a virtual assistant this works loud and clear, just say, launch voice control and then say call someone or text someone. or ask what the weather is like, or what time it is. this program works great, loud and clear on my blue ant commute, completely hands-free, this is great for any person that can't use their hands good

It doesn't read texts so that makes it not really stand out in any way. At least basic features like making a call works... I guess.

My S3 is no longer a device under the manage devices and cannot connect my device or return the S3. Waste of a 100.00 :(

Doesn't support all blue ant Bluetooth. Purchased pump HD and it isn't listed as supported. 2 stars until it is supported

with my new Q2 and my Galaxy 2. I decided to switch back to the Q2 from the borg-looking Plantronics (having owned both and been satisfied with both) with one exception. Voice recognition-dialing. This app cannot find a brand new Q2 sitting on top of it, starting from Paired and Unpaired mode. I've read nothing good about their customer support. Just opened a case. We''ll see if its a keeper or I may send it back to Amazon and resort to a Plantronics again to get voice recognition/dialing. IF they can't get the app work on my phone.

I have the blue ant pump HD sportbuds and it's not listed :/ but love my head phone better than my beats I had

I was hoping it would show the battery status of my ribbon. It doesn't. I wouldn’t bother unless you're having trouble pairing with your device.

Being a delivery driver for FedEx, I'm constantly on the go, so this app provides easy access to my text message without me having to touch my phone... If that isn't enough to catch your attention, it also announces your phone calls... I need to know if the caller is one I need to converse with, so you can say answer or ignore without touching anything...

I tried to use this program called blueant for android, when you say launch voice control a window will show up on your phone screen with different programs to use but the blueant is not on the list of apps to choose from.

Doesn't read text messages aloud at all on my Nexus 5 - which is the only reason to download this app.
