This update is horrible! Although I have a print subscription, it won't allow me too use it. Please fix this bug promptly. This is unacceptable.

S70%
by S####:

It used to work. C'mon! seriously!! is anything tested before it gets dumped on its users...the black banner flashes then the App dies ...already reinstalled twice...stop wasting are time...we pay good cash for the magazine...you either have an app or you don't!!

T70%
by T####:

The app was great and now is non functional. I called and got no help. Still 6 months left on subscription. When it worked it was fantastic. All the stories were pertinent and well written. Please fix the problem.

I70%
by I####:

It does not work on HTC m7 android version 5. It just brings up a blank introduction page and gets stuck. I did not have any issues with the previous version. Does not look like developer is responding to similar complaints.

T70%
by T####:

Guys, with the latest update to the app, I can't even open the app! That's quite disappointing! I've already reinstalled a couple of times and it's getting very very exasperating! Absolutely a pain in my opinion!

T70%
by T####:

Usually I don't trust online reviews, but in this case they are certainly nonbiased. This is truly an Alpha version. I as well can not subscribe, after reading the reviews I really didn't want to give it access to my photos or face book in fact. I will come back later...until then Business week remains a great print mag.

I70%
by I####:

App never worked. Stuck on opening screen and never loaded. Now can't find older version of app, so can't use anymore. Pretty bad testing - too many other choices to not work out issues before releasing. Moving on to another business news app. Too bad.

V70%
by V####:

I like the new interface, but I can't log in so I can save offline. It's telling me the email or username is incorrect, but never prompts me to the can't remember password screen like most apps. I'm sure the info is correct, but it's not letting me sign in. It's tells me in a digital subscriber, but I still can't sign in.

Q70%
by Q####:

The new design is nice. I like the revamp and that it maintains the old feature of saving each weekly magazine to read offline. But the new app keeps crashing, I have to continuously restart it.

T70%
by T####:

New app does not work on my Samsung Note 3 or my Samsung 10.1 2014 edition. I have another 9 months on my subscription. Can i get my money back? I concur with other reviewers...Bloomberg should get its money back from the developers.

T70%
by T####:

This update is terrible! The app doesn't work any more, only freezes upon launch! @bloomberg: please fix ASAP!!!

L70%
by L####:

Can you please bring back the old version. This one isn't even recognizing my print subscription which i have until july 2018

T70%
by T####:

Opens to black screen with white logo, then just sits there.... forever. I no longer have any online access to the magazine I paid for. FAIL

T70%
by T####:

Says my subscription is expired but it valid until December. Have not been able to use this app since the update.

P70%
by P####:

Wouldn't go beyond the initial black screen. App not working, need some basic test first before publishing.

L70%
by L####:

As a long-term subscriber to the print edition of businessweek I knew the day would come when it would become prohibitively expensive and I would be relegated to a digital version. Although grumpy I was willing to go along with us because I understand the financial realities. But when the new app was released a week ago it was not only very confusing it simply does not work on my phone. I have a Samsung Note 3 running Android 5.0 and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app at least 2 times and cleaned out the phone's app caches completely. The title screen comes up Bloomberg Businessweek Powered by Maz, and then fails to respond to any input. Customer service is a very poor imitation of Microsoft tech support and there is no tech support. I don't know what's going on up there but if you want to get rid of this Geezer you're doing a good job.

T70%
by T####:

New update is terrible compared to previous version. Considering cancelling subscription and going back to Economist

I70%
by I####:

Horrible app. This app wants access to what sounds like everything and anything and refuses to run if you don't allow it.

T70%
by T####:

New app won't open on my Galaxy phone. Old app worked very well. I subscribe to the print version and enjoyed using the old app. Please fix it ASAP.

T70%
by T####:

I would give it more stars, but it doesn't recognize my account number and when I enter my address, it claims my subscription is expired. I have a subscription until April 2018. I don't think I'll renew.

K70%
by K####:

Sucks. I have been logged out. App keeps trying to link BW to my Bloomberg account unsuccessfully, and also thinks my subscription has expired!

T70%
by T####:

No zoom on new update.. awful on high dpi devices (or for those with poor eyesight)

B70%
by B####:

It does not work, it is stuck, I should ask money back

T70%
by T####:

Does not recognize my printed subscription, waste of time, small fonts and not adjustable, buggy... Bring the old version back please. Might not renew once expires

T70%
by T####:

Does not recognize my valid account. Seems like a large flaw for such a reputable company to make

T70%
by T####:

It doesn't let you adjust the font size. It's much worse than the previous one. Horrible in fact

V70%
by V####:

Same issue as most here. Valid subscription getting refused.

T70%
by T####:

Update: a small modification of some sort, but am still unable to enter my subscription number, and the app claims that the information is invalid. This App is still garbage. Update: no updates have occurred to correct the defects in this App. Recommend that would be users continue to avoid this App. Update from 22/06/2016 review (below): no updates to correct the fault with this App. Problems noted in older review (below) are not yet resolved. Recommend that would be users avoid this app until it is reported by reviewers that it has been repaired and is usable. Read several reviews. Old review (22/06/2017) Bloomberg should demand it's money back from the App developer. Thie revised version demnds that I enter my subscriber number, then claims that my subscription has expired: that claim is false, as according to the delivery slips on the hard-copy magazine, my current subscription is valid until January next year. Buck your ideas up!

R70%
by R####:

Since the new format came out in June it has been unusable. Black screen of death powered by MAZ. Whoever came up with the update should be fired. Ps I've canceled my subscription

B70%
by B####:

Are you guys gonna fix this? Still hung on first black screen. Tried removing and re-installing several times. Cant read anything .... Whats going on?

T70%
by T####:

This new version is just not working ! Am staring at a a black screen . Plese sort it out.

N70%
by N####:

New refresh of app is HORRIBLE and designed fro phones exclusively. You could tell this wasn't some deeply thought out refresh but SAVING money. I've been a subscriber for 15 years and this is our garbage. Not sure how they can afford to cut corners in today's day

T70%
by T####:

New Update Stinks!! It was fine before. Now it insists my subscription has expired, when I have two more years! Called and spoke to someone for over a half hour but he wanted me to change so many things on my phone I hung up. It is not a fault with my phone---it is a fault with the app. Fix it!!!

T70%
by T####:

It's been few weeks and still no fix on the login issues.. SHAME ON YOU.!! ...... The new app SUCKS!! . I am a long printed edition subscriber and cannot activated the account on this.. All failed on iOS as well as on the website. You must be kidding with the new app.. Your app QC team screwed up your reputation.

T70%
by T####:

I am a fan of Mike Bloomberg and everything he does. However, BusinessWeek app has nothing in common with the Bloomberg brand and the outstanding technology and content that the company stands for. You should not outsource your app to some cookie cutter provider. Two thumbs down.

S70%
by S####:

After the latest update the application stopped working on my Samsung Galaxy 10.1. It just freezes after launch. I cannot access my subscription any more. I am very disappointed and do not know what to do. Please do something to rectify this issue.

T70%
by T####:

Worst update ever. The font is so small and cant be adjusted even when i set my system font to the largest. The layout of the weekly magazine is also far worse than before... plz make some change and improvemeng on that. thx *There seems to have no response after numerous users complained about the update. Not sure if it is the best option... BTW you might want to learn from others regarding the layout of other magazines, such as The Economist.

T70%
by T####:

I can't read small fonts. With the old app I was able to increase font size, the new app does not give this option, which makes the new app unusable to me. There was no warning that a completely new app will be installed instead of just updating the one installed. Bring the old app back or provide a refund! In addition to the above, I just found another problem - before it was possible to share some articles, now the share option is still available but instead of the link to the article, it now shares the link to this app on Google play! Worst upgrade I've ever seen. Highly immature and unprofessional. Just roll back to the old version and fire everyone who managed the upgrade.

L70%
by L####:

Edit: I gave the old app 4 stars, but the new app is hard to enjoy when it won't recognize my account number. I'm able to read the recent issue but for how long? There wasn't much wrong with the old app. Previous version review: I recently discovered my print subscription to Bloomberg BusinessWeek enables me to browse each new issue via this app to my phone. The user interface is nice and smooth with minimal advertising. Not all the content features transfer from the print version of the magazine.

T70%
by T####:

Fix it asap. Used to work brilliantly on my tablet and phone. Now works on neither. Asks me to update to new version on my tablet but on Google Play Store, the app is not compatible with my tablet. On my phone, it's just the black splash screen that appears and nothing else. I've deleted and reinstalled. And it's still the same. Why fix something that isn't broken? And now you've broken it. Please fix this pronto.
