This is application for making a family tree.
Very light, fast and simple.
- No login is needed
- There will be no uploads to any servers
- You can share the data as a simple text or file and re-import it again in another phone, so cousins can work together on building a big family tree
- You can share the tree as an image, so it can be printed or published
How to use this app:
Tap on the big plus to add the first person. A good solution is to start with the youngest one in the family.
Tap on a person to edit, move, delete or to add a relative.
Any person added can be moved (left or right) so that the tree can look exactly as you want it. When siblings are next to each other the tree looks best. The mother and the father should also be next to each other.
To make room use 2 fingers and slide them away from one another (pinch out). This will make the tree wider. Then slide left with 1 finger to see the right side of the tree.
Your data will not be uploaded anywhere. The data will only be accessible by you or whoever you choose to share it with.
Share options are:
1. Share image - this way you can easily print it or share the names of your family but without the notes, birthday and other information about them.
2. Export the data - you can send all the information you have collected(for example: send it to your relatives for corrections and adding more relatives to the tree). You can export the data as text or as a file. If you get data from someone, you can Import it in your device. On every import, a backup of the current data will be created. Export can also be used as a data backup.
To reach the "Share image", "Export" or "Import" options, tap on the 3 dots (…) on the right bottom corner, and then tap on the "MENU" in the small popup. You will see a list of options.
To move the ad out of the way simply pick the option "Move ad to bottom" from the menu.
For font increase tap on the 3 dots (…) and use the slider to make the names bigger or smaller.

Well its a good app, the only one I've found were it's just personal. Love that. But other things help. Like what if I adopted a kid, it would be nice to say simply from the this biological family or if it's a step parent situation or step sibling. Pics would also be nice to put. Ummm I'd like to zoom out more just for a layout too. That's my suggestions hope they are put in.

It's fun and I love this family tree game but the only problem is it only goes up to 1900 and after nothing before. It would be better if you added passed 1900.

Based on impressive developer responsiveness I am trying this Family Tree app. Will comment more later.**one day later**I have input all the data I have tracing back to 1800's, and encountered a birth date entry problem. The drop down calendar doesn't go back before 1900, and I could not find a way to manually enter dates except in notes. The share image option works great. Please add option to show dates on tree?

Its very good, but i feel you should be able to add parents to people on the same generation line. I'm using this for my story so I have a lot of families intricately intertwined.

Date ends at 1900. My grandparents born before that. Need direct imput for dates its a pain with the calendar. Aug 4 1876. Alignment is a bit screwy. Need ability to drag and drop. Right off the bat, i couldn't get great grandparents on. Nice for city, state spot.

I don't think you even read this but it would be nice if you could save and make multiple trees. Also best family tree maker I used so far and please have a great day!

Good and simple. Up and running in 5 seconds flat. But doesn't accept dates prior to 1900. Which is a fairly severe limitation. Also the export seems to be in a format unique to this app, and can't be read by any other app should you feel you've outgrown it.

The update is big improvement especially now that you can move the ad. Still needs to be able to scroll up and down the screen or else you are limited to how many generations you can include

Xllnt 4 visual presentation of a family tree, simple, and fast. Lack of printing directly from app, unless im missing sthg. Also needs 2 take into account remarried members and adoption within family. I would definitely purchase it. Thnks keep up the gd work. Maybe a tutorial or help file on "how to" would be a plus!

It does not import my huge gedcom file. I am to lazy to put in 5.000+ ancestors to see if this app is usefull.

While I liked this app and it is the best I've found so far in it's accessibility and it's ease of use. That being said the spacing could definitely use some work... for me the spacing made it hard to read in the fact that I have a total of 11 siblings and my mother, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandmother have 5+ siblings too. It would definitely be easier if you could zoom out more... But overall it's a pretty good app
