RSS Offline Reader

It's very, VERY simple and the worst RSS reader could be. It cannot cache RSS feeds for Offline reading, no settings, I even cannot mark feed as read. It looks like homework of some schoolboy who create this program just for fun.

GAH! I've been searching for ages to find an RSS reader that you can download RSS feeds AND STORIES offline to read when you don't have a connection, I thought this sounded the job! ...But no, all it does, like a billion other RSS readers, is download the headline, and one line of text to explain the story, then a hyperlined "...read more" which takes you to the original website - which requires a connection!?!?!? So no, this is not what I expected

all you can read offline is a small paragraph. to read the full article you have to be online.

Didnt liked the idea that it dont show full feed even when it is available and it uses browser to show whole feed. If it can overcome these two drawbacks itll be my fav app as i always wanted something of 2-300 KB

Doesn't come with any online help. Seems to expect the user to enter an exact URL to an RSS feed to be added. This is a major inconvenience, because not all web pages expose RSS feeds as links that you can easily copy. I would expect a reader to be able to open a HTML page and scrape RSS feeds out of it, then let you choose which ones you have to add. If you give it something other than a URL to a valid RSS feed, it gives you a cryptic error message: "internet connection problem or bad URL". Well, which is it? How can you not know? Could not find any obvious method to rename an RSS feed. For example, a different news feeds from cbc.ca added under the same name "cbc.ca", rather than "Top Stories", "Sports", etc, making them indistingushable. (And I was only able to add these because CBC has a RSS page where they list the feeds so you can copy the links.) Also, does not download the site's icon to identify the feed, like Brief (a Firefox extension) does. Every feed is marked with the RSS icon, which is useless and redudant. Doh, we're in an RSS app. Of course those are feeds!

It's a great relief to find an app that works so simply and so well. No logging into Google, no pages of settings to configure, no unnecessary eye-candy. You type in the URL and go - that's it, and your entries are there offline as well. For those that feel unable to cope with the manual aspect, there's always cut 'n paste.. Recommended!
