PitchAngle is a simple app that directly measures Pitch, converts between Pitch and Angle, and sets your Bevel Gauge.
Enter pitch and hit Angle to calculate angle, or enter angle and hit Pitch to calculate pitch.
Enter base length (or run) and the app draws a scaled diagram with angle, pitch and side lengths.
Tap ‘Measure Pitch + Angle’ and lay your Android on an incline to directly measure Pitch and Angle, then tap again to pre-fill inputs with measured angle and re-draw the diagrams.
Scroll down to a full screen diagram with current angles marked, to set your bevel gauge directly from the screen.

funny that it says 'out of range' when flat or vertical. you'd expect it to say 0.0 deg or 90.0 deg.

Simple and extremely useful! I haven't tested the accuracy yet but it sure is one of the more amazing apps I've come across!
