I personally think that this is a questionable app. The second it opened it turned on the camera and started to recognize ever thing in the room. This is the purpose of the app but there being no confirmation box make me question what is being sent home.

Cracker jack has new snack items with blippar sticker inside and they do absolutely nothing. What a failure

I blipped myself and it said I was a "model" lol. All in all its a good app

Doesn't do jack. Got it to scan stickers in a cracker jack box, and it doesn't respond to anything. Piece of sh*t.

Update.. Two years later. My phone is a Nexus 6p. I got excited this morning when my Trix box says to blipp it. App starts fine try to take every possible position on camera and box to blipp the thing... Magazine... Nope... Advertising... Sort of... A toilet.... Most definitely! Wow this thing still sucks in the newest version possible!

Contrary to the screenshots, it didn't recognize pizza, saying it's a primate or mouse. It finally recognized a Cracker Jack prize a long time after I had shown it, when it saw the box it came in, so maybe it can put a scene together. It tries to provide interesting things, even though many aren't relevant.

Most disappointing! Augmented reality too quick to see, and subsequent full-screen content allows you to enter a competition. Uninstalling the app just as soon as I post this.

Part of the McDonald's Christmas promotion. Download blippar, scan the tray liner, and watch animations, enter a draw, etc etc. So I download the app, allow it's permissions, run it, and scan the tray liner. Lots of random activity, spurious suggestions, nothing to do with the tray liner, our McDonald's, or anything I'm remotely interested in. Complete failure, undetermines McDonald's, and certainly undermines confidence in the app. Utter rubbish. Uninstalled.

It works for the augmented stuff designed for the app. It does not work on basic around the area things. I held it in front of a picture of Disney characters and it didn't show anything.

Very poor object recognition. Google Goggles did this better and that has been discontinued. Tried this 6 months ago and it's a shame that not much has improved.

It totally doesn't work. It's just a waste of time and storage. Do something, but comes up with something else. I just hate it. Users you should think a 100 times before you download it.

It's work but improvement mostly needed.

When I first downloaded it, I pointed my phone at several objects in my house. However, whenever I pointed it at an object, like a pillow, it would tell me things like 'bird' or 'moon'.

The Buying Guide used to be over an inch thick. Today, your magazine is short on ratings and long on articals. Give me a FREE app to acces all ratings for the past year. This app was a waist of my time.

This is the hottest app I've ever used. Literally! Battery drained so fast and I've never known my Galaxy S6 to be at such a temperature.

It didn't recognise Boris Johnson, my shoes or a packet of Walkers Crisps.

Totally pointless app. Poorly made, battery draining and crammed full of adverts.

I would give all Stars but it takes too much time to recognize but very good app

Me and the kids have have many laughs and an all round great time on this app, don't know how it could be improved

Remember this app will grow and become a great tool.Give it a chance before you slate it.

Stupid how when I was on a road trip I still had 5 bars of 3G internet and it said "connection error, try again in a little bit". I'll get it again when this stupid company learns how to use less internet for something so little and stupid
