About Teach Your Kids To Read
Teach Your Kids To Read is a useful tool for those who are applying the method for early reading, created by Glenn Doman, but also for those who simply want to share the reading of new words with the children.
You'll let your child see some virtual flashcards, following the steps of the same method. For a complete and official description and application of the method refer to the Glenn Doman's book "Teach your Baby to Read".
Learning to read English will be easy and fun. Something to do with your child that will help him grows and discovers new things. Teaching how to read is the best way to start the child to a deeper and faster education.

The Alphabet (ABC) is available in uppercase and lowercase.
You can teach the words already contained in the app or add new ones to create the first book to read with your child.
Once your child will be able to read the English words, you can use the same app to let him learn how to read another language (Spanish, English, French) by adding new words and modifying the existing ones.

Mummy, Daddy
One by one, you'll teach the first two words: mummy and daddy. The red color support to recognize the words. Clicking on the microphone icon it will be possible to record the pronunciation of the word using your own voice. The audio will be played when the word is shown or touching the screen.
Me - Around Me
You'll teach the words belonging to the child himself/herself and the ones of the environment around him/her. The size of the font is barely smaller. You're able to add new words and delete old ones. It's also possible to record the pronunciation of the word using your own voice.
My First Book
You'll be able to add and see single pages of the book that will be completed in the next step.
A Real Book
Starting on the pages created in the previous step, you'll see the pages of the book in a smaller size. Now the kid can try t read the whole page which is composed by every sentence taught separately in the last step.
Alphabet
You'll show the alphabet in capital and lower case letters.
Quick Word
A rapid way to write a word and let the child read. From the main menu you can decide the color of the word (red/black).

Good, but there is not a shuffle option. Afraid that the kids remember the sequence of the words. If it had shuffle option I will give 5 stars. Perfect! Got shuffle option now. 5 stars:)

The only suggestion I have to those who say the sound doesn't work is to record yourself saying the word before you try to play the audio. All in all it is a great app. :)

Is a very good idea this app. But need some updates to be the best. Can be nice if is not limit in the words you can add, and you can customizing the way you need. Like a area for 100 words, another for colors, numbers, ect. I like to record the pronunciation my self that is perfect. I only not like the limit of options. This is a good app please change just a few things. Good job : )

I love the app. I taught both my children to read at age 2 back in the 1980s using Glenn Doman’s original book. It was so easy - they could both read a newspaper by the time they started school at age 5. Learning languages comes naturally to babies and toddlers - whether it's spoken language, sign-language or written language. At 2 1/2 yrs, unused neurons are pruned and it is thought that this contributes to it being harder to learn languages as we age. Toddlers and babies can learn to read passively - if you wait until they're school age, it takes a lot more effort. Both my now grown up children have thanked me for using Glenn Doman's method to teach them so young - it gave them the very early independence to read themselves stories as often as they wanted and to discover more about the things they were interested in. I played on the app with my grandson at the weekend – he is only 3 years old. He loved it, because we could add in the words that are important to him like ‘pirate’ and ‘ship’ and ‘captain’. Well done on a really well designed app that will help the next generation of my family. (I am a software developer too, so I appreciate good app design).
