Hubble for Motorola Monitors for Android
Cameras are constantly off-line and slow. I brought to ensure my elderly mom wa safe at home. Poor support services. Start with Motorola then referred to hubble who you only reach by e-mail. Constantly turning cameras off and on or deleting cameras and adding agaun. Now I can't re-install two cameras and the other two just went off-line ☹
Simple concept that should be excellent, but falls far short! Takes a long time to connect to the camera and drops out all the time. (Dlink cameras don't so not the wifi) I get notifications about events upto 2 hours later which is useless. Also if I try and view these events in the camera history they quite often don't show up. £130 camera let down by a useless app. Shame.
This was good in the beginning when my camera would record the whole event. Now it only records part way through for 30 seconds. Doesn't record for 1 minute after. New update always mess with the camera and you have to re sync camera every time. I don't understand why that can't record for 3 minutes or even back to back if there is motion. Very frustrating. Was thinking about the pet cam for inside but can't trust it with how much it doesn't record or sense.
The newest update made it so the notificationa only come minutes after the sound/motion and I'll get 10 at a time. My husband has stopped receiving them all together which renders the monitor basically useless. Please fix what your update broke.
I cannot get any events to play since the update. I've contacted hubble connect. They told me to forward the email to support. I even sent email to Oliver! Have not heard back from anyone. What's the point of paying for a subscription that does nothing. Or having a camera that you can't see what happened 5 minutes ago. So you're notified for sound and motion, but you can't see what triggered the event. Customer support - NOT. Looking into getting a new Canary camera.
The only place I can see via the app or get notifications is in the room where my petcam is situated, so not good when I want to check on my pet when I'm out and about. I get the offline message. Keep having to switch off at mains. Broadband connection is very good so not that. Red light flashes. Fed up!
App crashes every time I try to connect to the camera, so I was never able to set it up. Used from my Moto Z Droid (you'd think a motorola phone would work with a motorola app but apparently not).
It's very slow,takes forever to link to camera. Hope nothing happens to my kid because I sure wouldn't be able to check on her in time to be able to help her. Very disappointed and I have 2 cameras.....
The app was running fine until the most recent update. Now there is a significant delay in the cameras. It's almost 8:00pm and I still have not received footage from when I arrive at home at 5:00pm. Also, the app shows I have 20 events, but the notification alert says that there are over 1000 events. Very confusing.
Was brill at first but recently it has begun to repeat events of that day. when camera is off this means constant notifications some times all night long. I've deleted all events but still events arrive. What's happening.
This is the most important app I own. I love it for keeping an eye on both my dogs and kids, however the latest update is causing major delays in accessing the camera, I waited 7 minutes to connect earlier and sometimes it won't connect at all. Please update as this app it's fantastic otherwise
I have 3 cameras, 1 in apartment 2 in home in another city. Cameras are always "reconnecting" and the cloud server is painfully slow and unreliable. Video quality once night mode is on is blurry. Thinking about trying the nest cam.
Not fast enough control system even though i have a 200+Mb internet speeds the control of pan and tilt is so slow it not possible to move camera quick enough to capture more of whatz going on. So please sort out faster communication between phone and camera
The camera and app worked great on phone. Always notified of motion and received snapshots of what motion was. Now keep receiving notifications of motion but when sign into app there is no picture. Walked past camera several times and no notification and no pic. Not sure what is happening. Time delayed and faulty.
The app is awful! Haven't been able to connect with cameras for months! Have invested thousand dollars into cameras, and am 1600 miles away from them, looking at suing Hubble! Can't get a hold of anyone! Not even a phone number? Do not fall for their false advertising!
I have had 2 cameras for about a year. They were working pretty well but now I don't get notifications or get them way later. No good for security!
I bought a Motorola external cctv camera because it is a well established and reliable brand, can't go wrong I thought. Oh dear what a disappointment 'Hubble' has turned out to be. It is slow to access the camera and often doesn't so I have to log out and log back in again. The panning and zoom function are jerky and the feed breaks up when the camera moves. If I don't log onto the camera feed daily the camera goes offline and the only way to get it back online is to press the button on the camera and rename it by adding it as a new device. The camera is 12ft up on an outside wall, THIS APP IS A JOKE ... SO DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY ON A MOTOROLA. WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS APP NEEDS SACKING
absolutely rubbish since update camera is taking hours to notify me of any detection. as I use this for security on my car if my car gets damaged I will be unable to Cath the culprit at it and therefore I will personally hold motorolla responsible for damages. what is a simple app is useless was working fine until the update if it isn't broke don't fix it.
Since the recent update I have to log in and do the stupid tutorial every single solitary time. Notifications cease to work unless I keep the app running in the background which, who has that much data to waste???? I would have given 5 star if this annoyance didn't happen. Used to love this app up until that point.... Fix the bugs and raise the rating. Simple as that.
Since the most recent update, notifications do not work correctly. For some weird reason I'm receiving notifications an hour to 2 hours later than when they actually happen.
Since the latest update the app is now alerting me to changes in the light when the sun comes out from behind a cloud but does not alert me when my baby is thrashing about in front of the camera and crying. It is now almost completely useless and dangerous as any user could assume it is still working. What if a parent is standing by a noisy washing machine or is even deaf? This needs fixing urgently!
Camera is often offline with no apparent reason and despite an excellent Wifi connection (rooter is only a few feet from camera). Very annoying.
Great idea but unreliable and temperamental app. Was working ok at first but now gives me alerts hours after event took place. Also it will now not let me play back the video footage. In addition, for the first 3 months of using the camera, it would just go offline whilst I was away. I confirmed there were no issues or outages with my Internet connection. Would be great if it worked properly but it doesn't, and viewing the rest of the feedback I think consensus also suggests this. Also had a bad experience with the Motorola helpline when I first got the camera: rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. Not happy with it, and moreso as I'm paying monthly for the service which I will stop and claim all monies back for the purchase of the product.
Horrible... The camera keeps going offline and we have a very good wifi connection.. Was a mistake purchasing this product!
Alerts were fast when I first set everything up. But now, 1 year later, I get alerts about 2-3 hours after motion is detected (for all 3 cameras). Doesnt do me any good if i get an alert 3 hours after an intruder comes in
My notifications have been coming through extremely late lately. I leave in the morning and my motion detection doesn't send me a notification until 3-4-5 hours later!! Obviously a huge inconvenience, this needs to be updated
I have 2 focus 86 connected. The app and cameras worked great until recently. The app keeps giving notifications hours behind and then repeats the same notification over and over and only allows view of a snapshot or to go to camera as it's only recording the odd motion to the sd card. Useless now as not getting notifications immediately, as is set, and I've changed nothing. Was hoping it was a random app server issue but been like this for nearly a week now. Have uninstalled the app and redownloaded but no joy. Please help!
Works again now but the settings are lacking. The sideways movement is too far for each press. I can either get my dog's head in or her body with no head. Each sideways adjust moves a complete screen width.
Keep getting old photos. Can walk in front of it during the day and not get any notification but later that day I will revive all photos hours later
Sends the wrong notifications. The notifications are from hours earlier or sometimes it's just a blank screen. It use to be accurate, but no longer is.
The camera's are great, the only draw back is the notification sound on my iPhone, you can't select a personal one, you only get the default sound which is poor and hard to hear if you are not right next to the phone. Can the developers please allow for this to be user selected on the IOS app please.
Camera constantly disconnects several times per week resulting in having to go in to the nursery and unplug then plug back in the camera. Not awesome when baby is trying to fall asleep.
My cameras just show Offline :(. I don't know why... And the cameras don't detect anymore if something it's outside.
USELESS and offers zero support, despite knowledge of many customers with problems like mine: the camera is slow to access and at times log in won't work, feed breaks up, image freezes and sound continues, camera lags and disconnects on its own and it takes FOREVER to reconnect, when that happens. The worst is that the camera KEEPS GOING OFFLINE and I'm sick of it. It's only on when my baby is sleeping, so when I have the issue, I have to go into the nursery to switch the camera off and on or, if that doesn't work, take it off the wall, press the button, re-pair it, add as new device, blablabla. When the camera is back online, it often goes offline again (WiFi connection is very strong - we also have fiber optics - and is never problematic and all other devices work perfectly). I told Oliver I had to use the mains to switch the electricity off to get the camera to work again since I had to keep going into my baby's room to reset the camera which loudly beeps and says READY FOR PAIRING. So obviously, the Internet was down for a few minutes but the issues happened before and they don't seem to find the problem on the logs and keep blaming my connection. DON'T BOTHER CONTACTING SUPPORT, THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING, BLAME THE CONSUMER AND SEND COPY AND PASTE ANSWERS. JUST READ THE REVIEWS AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND ENERGY ON THIS TERRIBLE PRODUCT. We're buying something else.
For the most part it records but the updates have caused a major delay in notifications coming in. The camera freezes and I bought this to protect my house and I'm starting to feel as if this is a waste of time and money
Since the latest update i dont seem to get notification straight away I'll get about 120 or more come all in one go and night time ive been turning the sound detection off coz its waking me up in night but they still coming and when i check cameras mums fast asleep? I brought 3 cameras to keep an eye on my mum who lives alone and has dementia it was fab untill last update now its driving me mad
Recently it stopped even taking snapshots! Starting today the app keeps freezing as well.
Where do I start? I got the cameras almost a year ago for home surveillance. Half the time they are not working the other half their blinking back and forth between cameras that I can't get a decent picture. They'll be there and the blue light will be on an active but I could drive past it and only one camera will be picking it up period right now I'm having issues because they show that they're active but they're not picking anything up and then 5 hours later I'm getting a picture here and a picture there of things that happen the day before. I just loved it getting woke up at 5 a.m. by my phone because the picture showed up showing somebody on my property 6 hours prior that shouldn't have been there. Your dashboard says that everything's fixed well obviously something's not
Worked great, recent update made notification images get stuck. Something is wrong.

Love this app. Cameras are great quality, love the two way speaker, lullabies option, camera and video, and that we can check in while we're out! Especially love that it's secure. My ONLY problem is that the app seems ton struggle opening the camera more often than not lately. Updates are in tact on all devices. Just won't open. Will usually work if I restart the device. Hopefully bugs will be fixed soon.
