redditastic – reddit widget

Pretty much the gist of it. It does what it says it'll do except there is no dark theme at all. There is a light theme but the "dark" theme is broken and is instead 100% transparent. Please properly implement a dark theme. Will be a 5/5 if so.

"Login failed. Cannot login at this time. Please try again later." There is no widget available in my widget drawer. I will keep this installed and update my rating if these issues are fixed. Rooted Galaxy Note 3.

Cant sign in, keeps saying to try again later. Otherwise it's good!

Customizable update frequency, ability to view multiple subreddits in single widget, clean UI, works well with 3rd party reddit apps (protip: use "view comments" setting to open in reddit app)

Needs to be able to load more sequential pages beyond just the front page.

Attempted to login with my username and password. Tested same username and password with 3 other apps and on reddit desktop site. Used to love this widget till it broke.

Not bad, but no longer able to login to my reddit account. I know this issue has already been fixed once, and for a while everything worked without a hitch. But it seems this issue needs fixing again.

I can use the widget, but not to its full potential. Log in fails each time and it's not a username/password issue, since the app alerts you of that. I'll reassess my rating if I'm able to get logged in eventually.

Used to be the best widget for reddit on Android. Unfortunately doesn't work anymore. Hope the developer can fix/update it.

This app is great and I really love the customizability of the widget; however, the lack of endless scrolling really makes the app quite useless. Only having the first page is not that great as people get by the first page really fast. Would totally rate 5 stars if it had endless scroll.

I'd really love to use Redditastic, especially in conjunction with my favorite Reddit app. Unfortunately, after a bit of research, it looks like users of HTC Sense 4 (EVO, One X, etc) are not able to choose which app Redditastic opens. We only have a choice of browsers for all web URLs. (This is due to HTC's App Associations changes in Sense 4, required thanks to a lawsuit. For more info, see: htclinkifydispatcher.) I hope Redditastic is updated with an option to explicitly choose which Reddit app to open.

But ever since Lollipop it doesn't always scroll correctly. Since it doesn't seem to be maintained anymore it's sadly not something I use anymore.

I like widget, but it needs the following options: Show subreddit titles, endless scroll, a bar that lets you upvote/downvote/save/etc. a post, and automatically update more often than every hour.

Can't do transparent widget, only white

"Unable to log in at this time please try again later"

This has been my go-to widget for browsing reddit for over a year now. It has worked great up until now, and would've been a 4-5 star rating. That is, until reddit added the optional HTTPS login. The feature is still not supported by the widge. Unfortunately, it's starting to appear that it's been abandoned. The last update was almost 2 years ago, so I can't imagine an update for that one feature is on the way anytime soon. Too bad......

The widget is awesome - UI beats any widget out there! Wish it'll login with the new https login option. Please fix!

Subscribed subreddits with underscores in their name do not show up in the list. They must be typed manually. Fix this and you get 5 stars!

I love the widget. Very clean and functionally sound. But it would be really great if we could pull down to refresh.

I love the fact this has no permissions! Sadly all I can get is the settings menu, the widget is not in my widget list.

I've been using this app since it came out and the widget is the most low profile and stylistically pleasing in my opinion. If you could please make the widget background fully transparent, that would be perfect and enough for 5 Stars out of me.
