Karen by Blast Theory for Android
Waiting for something to happen?
Blast Theory create unique experiences. This is worth your while.
Enjoying the experience so far. Be aware you will have to pay for your "data report" at the end of the experience, but it's not expensive. The only problem I have with the app is the 24 hr clock telling you when the next session is avaliable. We should have an option to have a 12 hr clock.
I was intrigued by this but it was a waste of time. It's not particularly creepy or thought provoking, just a strange interactive experience with a fictional overdramatic and unprofessional life coach. You have to pay at the end to get any insight from it and there's no hint of whether or not it's worth the price. Disappointing.
I really dont know what to think, its strange, and a little bit scary experiance, but i deffinetly recomend this app. Never seen anything like it!
It tales days to play this game but at the end it wants you to pay to see your psychological profile
I didn't expect myself to get as attached to this game as I did. So clever, another excellent concept by blast theory
Idk this feels like a game that features you in a drama scene bit weird..
Cool app, like how it started, was annoyed it offered nothing until payment. Even a basic script with lots more if u pay would have been OK
Long winded
Interesting interaction
Xxx
Really great and interesting idea but ends up being videos of a stranger rambling about her life. Towards the end the speaking stops and the sessions are mostly text driven, and the ending is pointless with no result for the non-paying user.
Initially I thought this was going to be a life coaching program. However, as you get to know Karen the life coach she opens up and you develop a friendship with her. I like the fact that you have the opportunity to make mistakes in the program and it reacts to them. I ended up playing it twice to see what a difference would do to the plot. Some of the answers seemed a little bit clunky. Overall I enjoyed it. I hope they make more of them it would be fun to try this concept using other scenarios. Even better would be on demand artificial intelligence but that's for the future.
In a good way :-)

Been trying this out for a few days...3 or 4 "sessions". Don't care for "Karen" though. She keeps slipping in things about her personal life..I DON'T CARE.
Karen is a very fun person, grows on you fast. Sometimes the video glitches out but other than that its great. Try it out!
It's an interesting and entertaining project. Maybe the wait between the new videos is too long, but it's meant to be this way.
she is me process my thoughts
This was quite an enjoyable experience. Karen was a unique and interesting person to spend so little time with. I'd love to see more content.
Being insulted by a complete stranger is not good.
Utter load of bollocks
mixed-reality game, feels real, has a lasting impact
I've been looking forward to this coming to android for ages. Pocket art-theatre, what's not to love.

I think a lot of people are missing the point of this app. It is a form of app theatre and so far I am really appreciating the intimacy the app generates between performer and audience. This is theatre adapted for a mobile platform that is defined by its platform. That is, it is about one person interacting with another and exploring social issues. So clever. I hope Blast Theory do more like this.
