Journal

I dont want or need alot of frills and junk, just wanted a neat and simple journal. This is absolutely it. Have had it a week, used it multiple times a day, not a single glitch, not a single complaint. Its perfect. Thank you.

It's wonderful, great for storing and holding my notes. A lot of people are complaining about a lock; If it's on your phone than your phone should have as lock , most people do. GREAT APP

I can write about my life and keep it with me every where... for all the people say its unsafe with out a password: download "App Lock"... it locks any apps you want including this one....(not trying to advertise or anything, just trying to be helpful)

You add a choice of adding a pin. For when have issues of people going through your stuff. I would give you five stars if had pin or something like that.

I do think back-up feature is needed...

I use this app when an idea crosses my mind and I can't write it down anywhere. I jot notes down and write further when I'm off work, I recommend it

Can't you people see who are asking for extra features that the app hasn't been updated since January 2014? Seriously people, come on.

Has no backup - local backup would be just fine. Cannot change date. No search.

Very good app for taking short notes. Better than Fast notepad in the way that it has search capability which is very handy for a simple note list without organisation capability. May I know what location is the content saved on the phone? It would be perfect if it can allow manually backup (copy the content txt files and save in other place) like Fast notepad.

Pleas add export and import entries. Also, file encryption and a password for accessing would be nice to have!

I really appreciate that you don't have to have a lock and a place to put your photos. This app is nice and simple. Most of the other ones I don't like that much because I almost always forget my password. Plus I hardly ever take pictures. You will enjoy it I guarantee. Don't listen to everyone else.

I love this. It's simple and doesn't take up a lot of space. But it would be so much better if u put a lock on it

Missing lock feature along with facility to back up! Developers listening ?:) And yes its super light too. Giving 5*s for all the pluses .

Every time i click on it the app backs out and says were sorry but .journal. has stoped. Please fix the app so i can actully open it .

It really ,really needs a lock , cause what if my mom or brother gets into my phone and reads it all then I'll be super in barrised they'll now who my crush is and ll if that stuff..

Very simple. Its just a journal ad nothing more which is why I chose it over others. It also requires no permissions to invade your privacy like the other apps.

No payment, not much adds I don't care much about the password I just want some where to write.

Just got it yet I still belive it needs a password I have private stuff and don't want my brother going thru this same with nosy parents.

This app is very minimalist which is what I like about it, I only wish backup and locking were available. If it had these two features it would be 5 stars.

start writing after installation. all you need is a quiet space, a cup of coffee and your thoughts.

I have tried many of these. This is so perfect. A lock would be nice, and one larger font. But please, please no other changes. I'd pay for this because of the simplicity.

It keeps the date, let's you title it, and there's plenty of room to type!I think that this is deck early one of the better journal apps I've used!

I don't need it to be pink with massive emojis all over it and the bonus is no permissions. Thank you. It is very elegant and simple.

No search, no tags, no backup. I don't need fancy editing but a few basics would be nice.

My only suggestion would be to have a way to archive or back up entries.

Every journal or diary is a private world that describes our day in life through our perspective. And that needs to be a secret and locked away from snoopy sally.

It might be a little unsafe without password, but I still like it. Keep it up! But could you try adding in draw modes, like using our fingers to draw the picture and how it looks like, stuff like that. Maybe add in colour mode too. Like we can colour the pictures or if we can copy a photo and put it in, it would be great. And maybe colours for the words as well.

This app is stunningly simple. A quiet place for thoughts and feelings and ideas. It's exactly what I was looking for. One HUGE drawback, there's no security on the app. Sure my phone is locked but app security would be greatly appreciated. Then it would be five stars.

As a new person to the world of journal writing, I looked through a couple of apps and saw all the features, but I turned them away because they weren't as simple, like a journal is like. The only two things I would ask for is backup capabilites for a SD Card, and a way to attach a picture on the journal.

The simple interface and ability to write after only one tap make Journal easy to use, and the history view showing multiple entries on the page with both date and time stamps is a nice bonus.

Please add a security feature or lock, a code number lock would do just fine! Only concern is...How do we know you don't spy on what we type? I mean some of us write pretty personal notes of many catagories, I just want some form of assurance.

Very simple and easy to use. No uploading pictures and all that extra stuff. A lock feature would be great but other than that I love it.

Simple, clear, effective. Very nice clean app. Recommend it whole heartedly.

Pretty simple. Really just a text editor that saves according to time and date. No options available. NO "PERMISSIONS."

I would like it better if it had coloring like I could use a different color for the date and time it would be great but other than that its an OK app
