The Black Web Awards were launched in the Spring of 2006 as an effort to highlight the myriad of original, positive websites with content from the Black perspective. Hosted exclusively at BlackWebAwards.com, the BlackWebAwards endeavored to produce an original free event where the internet public both nominated and later voted for their favorite websites in over one hundred categories ranging from religion and politics to entertainment and culture.

The natural progression of this effort is to bring to you the Black Web Awards on your mobile phone. In this app you can:
