Shortwave Broadcast Schedules for Android
I cant hear anything at all. Useless, it just sits there. Maybe I missed understand what this app should be doing. Another donation !!! Oh well.
This is a great tool for shortwave listening, especially if you get a bad signal and need some hints on what the station might be.
In 2012 I rated this app one star, but just tried it again. Sadly, no improvement. In Android 6.0.1 (Galaxy S6 Edge), NO settings or menu is visible, and "What's on now" doesn't function. It's merely one LONG scrolling frequency list. This Shortwave Broadcast Schedules app would be of no use even if free, but sadly the developers charge $$ for this time waster! The fact that the app hasn't had an Android update since 2014 shows they don't take it seriously.
Really like the app. Works good, and pretty accurate. I wish the tops of each column had labels so you know what's what.
Bought this app last night. I wasn't disappointed at all.
helps you fid freqs
Just because the station says its on does not mean you will be able to receive it where you live because that's the way short wave propagation works! The. program is great it works fine for me on my cell phone. I'm glad that this program is available to use. I am now using it on ZTE phone, it uses Android 4.4.4 and I cannot access the menu at the bottom of the screen anymore. Which renders the program useless. Maybe they could update their program to work with Android 4.4.4.
not working. everything displaying but not able to listen. using sony xperia z2 android 4.4.2 can any one help?

Basic information of what is on the air now. Just a long list of stations.
Perfect
If you are a shortwave radio listener, this app is very useful.
No way to tell what station is broadcasting to your Country unless you know what your looking for, and if you know that, you don't need this.
While this app works and does what it says quite well, it does seem to lack some of the features included on the iOS version. It sorely needs the inclusion of the filter and restrict functions found in the iOS version and the detailed separate info page for stations. Other than that, it works well as a basic schedule app. It can update the schedules and list them in a somewhat easy to read format.
A LOT of bands are missing from the Bands list! And be accurate!
Would like more info like distance to transmitter etc like eibiview in windows' otherwise well worth the money.
But needs selection by Target. For example if I am in the USA, I only need the list of stations beaming to America. This would condense the list, and make the app much more useful.
Useless. Transmitter location information is wrong, as often as not. No substitute for a written guide, radio magazine or manual. Am going to uninstall.
Worth the price
I really wanted to like and use this program daily, but it's time display for "what's on now" is completely screwed up. I use a Samsung Galaxy S III, and the app has never converted properly from my local Pacific time (PDT) to UTC; therefore the stations shown as "on now" are all wrong. Sad... this app has a lot of promise but the key feature is worthless.
Excellent app for the shortwave listener, nice straightforward interface with useful features like "on now" & extended information such as transmitter location & target area. More than worth the price.
The "On Now" option is a winner for me, a quick tap on station gets you a context bubble, giving the station frequency, UTC/GMT based hours of reception, Lnaguage and Target region for that stations broadcasts. Perfect even as a quick "reverse" reference tool to identify a station on a frequency even if you're not familiar with the language of the broadcast itself. Perfect for the radio enthusiast!

Always use Whats New section when Updating And be accurate!
