VCCS Mobile for Android is the entire Virginia Community College System in the palm of your hand.
In one mobile application, we’ve created portals to view maps, news, events, calendars, courses, twitter, library and much more all from the ease and convince of your device.
VCCS Mobile delivers elegant, personalized, branded experiences for all 23 schools in VCCS system, from one place. You can easily switch between colleges with our campus selector, on the bottom right of every school’s page.
The suite of modules ranges from institution to institution; in general make sure to check out:
Events: Enjoy a calendar-driven view of all the various events on campus
Courses: Browse the entire course catalog for each school
Maps: Find anything on campus using a search-driven maps interface
Videos: Browse each school’s Youtube stream
News: Read the latest news and find out what's happening on campus
Library: Search the library catalog, view the availability of different items, access live chat and other useful research tools!
Emergency: Quick-dial access to important emergency contacts
Twitter: View school’s latest tweets
Facebook: Connect with each school on Facebook
Directory: Browse each school's public directory information

It kept linking me to the Google play site in browser mode for the app I had just installed. Uninstalled.

many functions are just links to a mobile site. not sure if you need to have BlackBoard installed for that to work, but it does replace it if you done have it. the directory would be most useful, but it appears blank for me. may just be my college

Uninstalled once before because of slow loading & broken links. SIS portion of PVCC is good. Disappointed that most of icons are just links that open a browser screen. Since app is reading ID & we designate our college, why not have direct login access to BB & other MyPVCC areas?

The only thing this app does is open the browser. I'm quite capable of handling that myself. I don't WANT to use the browser, which is why I downloaded the app in the first place!!

So far this app is working fine for my school. I like all of the services that this app provide! Only blackboard isn't working,but other then that everything is fine!

Opens to either white or black screen. Bad timing with final grades coming out.
