This app has hideous animations that only serve as distractions. If there was a way to turn the cheesy animations, I'd instantly be willing to bump this app one star. This app sends redundant notifications and there isn't any easy way to manage notifications. The app is buggy and sporadically logs out for no apparent reason. The user interface is not consistent. Paired with the horrible animations, this app is very inefficient to use. If I'm within walking distance of a computer, I'd rather use the computer than this awful app.

I hate this app. It either doesn't notify me of updates and I have to check it constantly or it tells me about the same update multiple times. Like my test grade was posted this morning and 12 hours later I'm still getting notifications about my grade being posted.

This app is a POS. The "keep me logged in button" is just a decoration, because the app will log you out whenever it wants- in the middle of reading an assignment, 30 seconds after you logged in, if you walk through a tunnel... it will also close itself whenever it feels like it. Reading any course materials on here is a painful joke- you can't zoom in, so you can barely make out words, and you can't open any word documents unless you download additional software. My cat could C++ this app better than whoever is behind this nightmare.

Absolutely awful. Crashes all the time. every time I try to hide courses I'm no longer in, the app stops working and crashes. So instead I have to scroll through 40 different course names and titles that are useless. I send a report every time the app crashes, but that and the horrendous reviews of this application seem to make no difference since they're basically taking advantage of college kids who have no other option but to use this crap app.

Horrible. Every time I want to log in I have to go to the regular blackboard site (through desktop or Chrome on phone) and update my password. I have to do that every time I want to use the app. Defeats the purpose if I have to log into blackboard before logging into the app.

Awful. I'm constantly having to sign into the Blackboard sometimes multiple times in a row. I'm getting multiple duplicate notifications to my phone and there's no option to turn that off through the app. It's always telling me there's something wrong with the app so I have to go to the drop down menu in the corner to find my courses to bypass the error code. The setup is a poor design. When I try to do a posting the discard is right next to the add post button and it's easy to discard a post on accident. It does not ask you if you're sure you want to discard it's just gone with all your hard work. I wouldn't use this app but unfortunately I have no other choice.

I have to sign in 2-3 times EVERY time I use this app. Also there are MULTIPLE notifications for the same update every single time there is anything added in a course. I end up logging in 15 times to view a notification throughout a day, sometimes still the next day, and it's the same information I'm being notified of, very annoying.

This app is horribly implemented... Notifications keep coming for the same thing, over and over, even if I dismissed them.

Bad animations meant to impress clueless publishing house representatives. Not functional at all

Keeps opening pages in web browser in app. If I wanted that I would just open it in chrome.

It's not as good as the other blackboard app, but it's more stable

It gets the job done. I wish I could do more involving my courses but otherwise a useful app.

Easy access to your grades and assignments. Grade UI. It works perfectly fine on Android platform. A must have for students.

Awesome. Simple. Easy to use. Learner friendly. I have had a great experience using this app.

Annoying. Too many notifications even after you look at the notification. Tells me assignments are past due when I completed them. Tells me the same grade was posted 4 time. And links to desktop site. I'd use the browser if I wanted the desktop site. I like being able to see assignments and post to the discussion boards from the phone, though.

When my teacher adds an assignment or at the bigging of the year I get about 12 notifications about it even after opening the app or dismissing the notification. I don't wanna turn off notifications cause I like being told when I have assignments due

Hi there, is there a problem with the app, because I can't log in anymore? I was using it fine last semester, and now I can't log in, saying it's a problem from your end. So is anyone actually going to respond to all the issues people are experiencing with the app? Blackboard works fine on the desktop, but no luck with this application.

Your fun buttons, colors, and EZ design got me excited, Bb, I'm not gonna lie. But when I eagerly opened my syllabus.. Why couldn't I read it? Because you just linked yourself to the DESKTOP VERSION (why?!?) of the school webpage, then shoved the plain text into a frameless module with no formatting, no auto-zoom, and no text wrapping. So get out your magnifying glass and be ready to horizontally scroll / manually-zoom your heart out! No, Bb. No. As much as I love interacting with your menu graphics, I will not be bought so easily - until you make my coursework legible or someone wills me a microscope, I must bid you adieu.

This app works, but it's capable of better. My biggest complaint is having to sign in everytime I switch devices. I would like to have more customization options but that is not too important.

This app is nice, but over designed in places. My biggest complaints are the animations and sensitivity of the menus. The animations are nice in places, but get in the way in others. When I open a folder in a class, you don't need to have papers fall out of the folder for like 20 seconds. It's distracting and uses my phone battery more than it needs to. The menus also move around too much when I'm just trying to read a PDF. I'm glad this one opens the files, but it's annoying when I just want to scroll to the top and it sends me back 3 menus. Overall, I'm glad to see blackboard is improving stuff, and I hope they keep making this app better.

If you go to pretty much any reputable school, your school's Blackboard software should be new enough to run this app. It works flawlessly, it's fast, and has less bugs than the other BB, which hasn't been updated in months.

Username and password is correct but it won't log in. I can log on in my browser and the old app. This app is therefore useless.

The slideshow stops midway during class, and I am not able to see the next slides after others have moved on. Using a Nexus 5x

Stopped working for second term. So frustrating. Can't access my online course.

This app is like cancer. Get rid of the annoying animations, they do nothing to cover up the fact this app is so featureless that it is embarrassing.

Love this version of Blackboard. THE U.I. is smooth and easier to find where I need to go. Prefer BB Student app over BB Learn.... Thanks

WHERE ARE THE FUCKING AWNSERS TO THE NOTES they tried to add all the waves and futuristic look when that is fucking pointless and they should have spend that time making the app run smoothly

There seems to be a delay with submittals; I submit an assignment from my desktop and go to check on my app a few days later only for it to say that the assignment is late.

Can't comment on discussion. Keeps telling me I'm not connected. Useless!

It works well for the most part, but I get every notification about 20 times. Within the first 3 days of courses being open, I got notifications for each one opening 15 times.

Needs serious improvement

Never let me even log in.

Pages never seem to load, can't log in most of the time.

Hoping they add a back button compability.
