Secure Work Space for BES12

Forced to use it. Drains a lot of battery, cannot turn it off for time, cannot turn off notifications, constant background process makes other apps stagger. Why this app still exist and people are forced to use it?

Forced to use this for my corporate phone. Awful experience. Doesn't work. Crashes. Hangs. If this was for personal use and I had a choice I'd uninstall.

Once you install this, get ready for your personal device to be taken over. 1. Takes over your launcher, and there is no way around it. 2. Persistent blackberry icon at the top of your screen. Again, no way to get rid of it. 3. If you want to "disconnect" from work, it's next to impossible because it's always notifying you about something. There should be a "disconnect" setting so it doesn't invade your personal space when you're not working.

Waste of money buying Gold Licence with Secure Work Space which doesn't even open.

Work browser disappeared, after manually reinstalling was getting a pop-up saying it was an unsupported app. Deactivated BES12 Client and started over.

I keep losing mail profile, I set it up and synch, then after a random time I get a message on phone saying profile reset....even when I have not setup mail account it keeps saying profile reset

At least it kind of works now.

Workspace refuses to work on any marshmallow device I've installed it on. It won't open because it says "workspace cannot be used on a rooted device". 2 out of the 3 devices I installed it on were not rooted and still got this error. I have quite a few devices in our company due to receive the MM update in the very near future and will break all functionality of the bes12 apps.

Have not had access to my email since I installed this app. It interferes with the use of my phone causing delays in dialing, I have a constant pop up stating "workspace has stopped working". I am uninstalling. IT WILL NOT UNINSTALL! !!

This app regularly breaks when it updates

Poorly set up. Has poor feature sets the user interface feels 10 years behind competitors. Stability of software is weak. Only way to sync work emails is to restart phone every time. Outbox gets jammed up and then fails to send. Deleting outbox and re-write emails isn't what I call a good service.

It seems to be draining my battery pretty hard. It is also annoying to have redundant password entires everytime I want to check my mail.

When phone changes from 4G to 3g and to WiFi it causes the failing to sync have to reboot phone. Even manual synching doesn't work blackberry won't fix the problem and wants to charge

Since next to last update, I can't send emails out. They get stuck in the outbox. Moto G lollipop

Regularly looses the ability to send / receive email with no error message to tell you so. Highly irritating when you find emails sent yesterday are stuck in the outbox. Not an Internet issue. Not a server issue either. IOS devices work fine... Only a problem with android. Only a phone restart seems to fix the issue. Blackberry support is poor at responding to this and other issues.

After last update every time sb calls it popup workspace, so in order to pick-up call I need to close it. Takes ages to send email up to freezing the phone, did I mentioned slow?! Unlocking the phone popups workspace even if I locked phone with android home screen, etc, etc, the list is looong. Please blackberry, if you can't make proper app for Android don't do that, why iOS app is so better?! Disappointed. By the way do you pay trolls to give you more stars?!

Hit and miss as to whether all mail appears. Constant requirement to enter password. Mail gets stuck in outbox and this seems to prevent new emails from coming in too. Mobile iron was far better.

Keeps stopping. Outbound email gets stuck. Email won't download, and calendar won't sync. ( as of Oct 16, 2015 )

Can you add the feature to control running time and battery consumption. We are forced to use that.

Lots of bugs and force close

I have both an iPhone and Android phone for work and like the Android OS and ecosystem better but why can't the Android BES client be more like the IOS version, far more useful and faster to navigate.

Seems like a good concept, but am find a few little things I don't like, however some may be caused by my it department. First I am finding this app to be a huge drain on my battery, even more of a drain a than the display! Also having an issue playing wav files for vm to email. Other than those and few other things seems like a good app to secure work emails and documents. Constantly wants me to update even though it is up to date.

As a blackberry fan i am a bit disappointed by this app. Quite frequently error messages keep popping up to the point where i have to disable the app, talk to IT and get it reinstalled only because work requires me to. Poor android integration and experience so far

Is there a way to show a preview of emails on your lock screen?

Slow and unreliable.

The app freezes when I open emails and has to be shut down. I've not been able to open an email yet. Using an S5.
