Can't get this new version to open nearly as well as before. Need a sensitivity adjustment. Looks ridiculous. Want the option to have it look professional and maybe people can skin it all Google cartoon if they want. Went back to the original one. I guess I won't be doing "update all" anymore.

T70%
by T####:

I really like the update, but have two complaints. The icons on the tray are always in the same spot. It would be preferable to have them be still in the proximity of the swipe in icon, like the old. I now swipe in from the bottom right but have to reach up to the top right to press things. And I can't find a way to simply add a task like before. It used to just be a button, now I can't find it. Making it so it can only swipe in from the top half of the screen was not the meaning of this suggestion!!

T70%
by T####:

I much preferred the translucent layover and more minimalist aesthetic of it previously, because I pretty much only use it for a quick check on calendar events and hardly anything else. The new design looks quite clunky and opaque to me.

T70%
by T####:

I like the updated version much better, but I think this update caused some issues. Immediately after multiple updates I had an issue with my phone cycling off and on, restarting at random times and moments. I started disabling apps one at a time and finally the cycling off and on stopped after disabling the BlackBerry Productivity Tab. In addition to that, my phone stopped overheating.

New UI is horrible comparing to what we had before. Can you at least add an option to switch between the old cleaner look and the new cartoonish one? Also (this is relevant to the older version as well) it would be nice to have an option to adjust the scope (the timeframe) of the calendar tab.

G70%
by G####:

Prefer the look and operation of old version. Now I have to drag all the way across the screen instead of just flicking?? Can't add a calendar appointment from it? Both annoying.

C70%
by C####:

Used to be a 5 star app before the update. Now, it has a lot of glitches; for instance, it doesn't open properly, and it lags when switching between sections (Hub to Tasks, etc). Would be great if I could get the old version back

T70%
by T####:

Unlike many reviewers, I like the new design and graphic. HOWEVER, there is a bug on the slider placement - it doesn't stay where it is placed. I've moved it back 10 times at least and now it literally refuses to move back. Also it is glitchy sliding out: sometimes it 'flickers' and refuses to slide out. And lastly, not a fan of having to drag it all the way across the screen to pull it out.

There is a bug. Sometimes it doesn't fully open. I drag it , slightly opens but won't go to the end to open. This is bothering me. Hope you fix it soon. Always wanted to use it but still a lot of work to do. Good improvement after all

K70%
by K####:

The new update has made me uninstall the app. It is horriblely huge transparency doesn't work and the cartoon crappie is a possibility off so unprofessional and kiddie. I was soo upset

T70%
by T####:

Sorry but the update and new look is horrible. I can't understand people liking at all. I loved the old look and feel it was much more refined. This feels like a huge step backward. I dislike it so much I am thinking of uninstalling it. So disappointed :(.

T70%
by T####:

It looks a lot better now but a few things - the email preview is hard to read on the background because of the colors used. The tab is really hard to open - I have to drag it too far to the left or it snaps shut. Also it still doesn't seem to have all the notifications from Hub integrated yet.

T70%
by T####:

Loved the functionality and look of the app until the latest update. It's HIDEOUS now, and behaves terribly. It's difficult to swipe it into view now whereas before it was simple and easy. What a shame.

T70%
by T####:

New update ruined everything! It's ugly and hard to use because often it doesn't want to roll out completly but just slightly! For the first time i disabled productivity tab!!!!! Bring back old style!!!!!

T70%
by T####:

Please rollback this latest update it's theme is nothing as compared to earlier. I'm big fan of this tab in my priv but after this update I don't feellike using it anymore as it's solid fill of some pictures also please provide some options to set it's transparency ,to change the font style as currently font is too bold. Please redesign it's ui as only the Ui part is lacking down

W70%
by W####:

Signal is my sms client. This app adds extra digits onto Signal contacts, so when you hit the message icon and associate messages with Signal, it means that the contact numbers are all wrong when it transfers you to signal. Shame because it looks like a great upgrade apart from this issue! If it was fixed I'd rate 5*

T70%
by T####:

The app was handy to look at unread stuff befor but I didn't use it all that much because you ended up in the hub anyway. This new update seems like a light-years leap and bound above what it was. If we could get texts in there it'd be almost like having the bb10 peek again. It's getting there. Good job

T70%
by T####:

Messages aren't updated if I delete them in the hub. Messages that I had deleted in the hub still show up in the tab.

T70%
by T####:

I used to love this but the latest update ruined it. Interface is horrible as well as it is much harder to actually pull it up from the side of the screen. Till 2 days ago I was loving it...

T70%
by T####:

It's just okay, liked to former functionality better. This one is more difficult to slide out. There is an artifact of the tab in the screen while in landscape. Very distracting during videos.

T70%
by T####:

Not a fan of the new visual design. It has gone further from Google material design but seems more clunky

T70%
by T####:

Excuse me! What the Ugly update! It just looks like window 3.1! If you want go back to the early version , just click uninstall and reboot.

T70%
by T####:

The new update ruined this app. I don't like the design. They could have added the new functionality and kept the old design. No longer using the Tab.

O70%
by O####:

Horrible colour schemes. The app is much less aesthetically pleasing than the previous version. The UX also clashes with all the other BB Android apps.

I70%
by I####:

Neat addition to the regular functions of the phone. Definitely a useful assist. The latest update did somehow make it harder to trigger the opening of the drawer compared to the previous version. I do love the new design. Another thing i would like to see added would be a weather forecast in the calendar header, and a quick app launcher, so we can launch most commonly used apps from a tab, but that's my personal opinion.

T70%
by T####:

The update is okay... yet it pays more importance to the look rather than the utility... need to add back old features and remove the bugs from the swipe gesture to bring out the tab in the first place!

T70%
by T####:

Problems of previous version persist even after the update. Will be uninstalling until a proper fix has been pushed.

T70%
by T####:

Awful update, dark colour is ugly, text too large and can't scroll through my calendar. Can I back to the old one please?

T70%
by T####:

really changed to worse - I miss the tap/drag/hold and the Indicator disappears when it wants to- have to restart the phone to get it back. Not BlackBerry like as a cheap android phone

T70%
by T####:

Just plain ugly design. Ruined what was once one of the best features of my BB. Suggestion... Improve the functionality and leave the old design alone.

T70%
by T####:

Love it..use it all the time but.. Once a day it crashes and I gotta reboot my phone to bring it back up

T70%
by T####:

Looks really nice now but lost all usefulness to me since the option to create emails right from the tab without having to open hub as been remove. Among all the other things that was removed just to look pretty

O70%
by O####:

(In response to the reply) Positioning from settings fails because the positioning can't be seen, and it forces us to go into settings to do that in the first place. The Tap/Hold/Drag feature was PERFECT. Bring it back or at least give the option to have it on or off. • Allow full customization of the apps to include, as well as the themes for variety and differing tastes of the user. This is an excellent opportunity for BlackBerry to utilize the Productivity Tab as a virtual replacement for 2nd convenience key that had been removed years ago.

liked the original design better. and the tab doesn't go away when I start an app in landscape. it's above the nav bar but since the nav bar minimizes it just floats there. also it's more difficult to swipe it out EDIT: read other reviews, I agree on the drag to reposition feature. as the one in the setting doesn't show the tab's position while adjusting. REPLY: not sure where to reply your questions. it's more of the anesthetics, the old design is more minimalist and professional

T70%
by T####:

Hate the new look of the tab. If I wanted cartoon looking apps I would buy Samsung. BlackBerry has been, up till now, has been had a sophisticated look. This new one is juvenile at best and not appropriate for BlackBerry. Adding a calender overview for the month is helpful. An instruction to "go on an adventure" is not. Would give 0 stars but I can not.

T70%
by T####:

By far my favorite BlackBerry App. Seems like messages that come out of snooze (hub) and past-due tasks should be in here too, those are often just as important as unread messages. New update is great but not as easy to open for some reason. If I haven't opened it in a while it will stutter or jump back and not respond to the pull for a few attempts. The only way I've found to get it to reliably work is to hit the circle button again if it doesn't work right the first time.

I70%
by I####:

Love the new update but why in the contacts quick actions can I only email or text rather than phone specific contacts. Seems very random, surely we should have the ability to decide for each individual contact. Also the same as responding to hub emails why does the option only give you reply to all rather than reply. Would be good for have that choice to pick what is best for me. Please bring drag and drop option back to for the production tab.PS: Please don't listen to trolls who want the old design back, it looked far too basic and bare bones. New design is far better, would very annoyed if it was switched back.

Recent update killed everything I love about the Productivity Tab and didn't improve on anything. Watching videos in landscape finds the tab hovering in the middle of the screen (edge space reserved for hidden system buttons--back, home, etc.). Not real fond of the boxy new look. Wanted messages, but don't use Hub as it just seems like one app that provides a shortcut to another. I'd prefer to just use my source Messenger app. Tasks needs many improvements, and I've given up trying to use it. Bottom line is that this Productivity Tab needs to be flexible and customizable allowing access to other apps such as Android Messenger, Gmail, Evernote and OneNote (just to name a few). Thank you.

I really like the functionality of this app and use it a lot. I would love to give it five stars if interface looked more professional. In particular, I'd really prefer black semi transparent background or some customization in settings to change it (in case other users prefer the current option). Also, font styles of main task and additional notes are too much apart (one is large and bold, the other is too small and hard to read). Again, if other users like it this way, it would be nice to have some customization in settings. Finally, please remove the childish pictures. Just plain text saying that I don't have new messages would be fine. As an option, keep all functional updates and roll back to previous minimalistic interface. I'm in love with blackberry phones and software for years and wish BlackBerry success on its new path.

Take a look at the comments! NO ONE likes the new interface. If we wanted some thing from 2001, we'd buy a Nokia, not a Blackberry. Bring back what we had. Everyone is telling you they prefer the previous design, so LISTEN. This is not another Hub, if anyone wants to access Hub, swip up from Home Key would do the trick, why would I want the same thing at the edge of the screen?
