Skala View

Update: pretty much unusable in 2016. // Would be useful again when Skala will support Artboards on Photoshop CC 2015!

Guess it just does not work anymore. I use to use this all the time. Now it never connects over remote connections or wifi. Sierra 10.12 Pixel XL 7.1

No longer working. I open the phone app and I get the message 'download our new Mac app'. Macbook app up to date, android phone app up to date.

Please help , I can't see my computer and there is no prompt on the Mac app for connecting to it. The preview is not available on my phone. It been happening since past two days.

Not able to see preview on my Android Device (Nexus 5)

I'd like to control zooming better instead of snapping to 100% and 150%. Otherwise it's cool to preview my work in photoshop with this app while I'm still designing.

Unable to connect to my MBP on a Nexus 5. Please fix this thing.

In the last release brightness slider is not working. Previously it was. I am on Lollipop 5.1

I love Skala View and I've been using it for years, but it's really impossible to make it work on Android. Even at home I have to try 10 times to make it work. Also it seems to have some kind of limitation of the image size, and as most devices are @3x it's really easy to exceed it. I'd love to see some USB connection option to solve these issues. Thank you.

Both connected to the same wifi but no computers available

Nice app for design preview and Its perfectly works on iPhone but not on Android devices and shows me no computers available whilst both devices connected to the same wifi. Why is this app not Android familiar?

Just spent half a day trying to make it work in android environment. Same WiFi, Firewall off, ports open. Nothing.. Every now and then it works for a few minutes and then times out and dies. Shame.. Has a premise of a really good app..

The app doesn't always instantly sync, and after a first use it wouldn't reconnect with Photoshop.

iOS counterpart works great on the same network and from the same computer but the Android version never sees my computer.

The app is great, but I would suggest to add some more features. How about an option to save screens to history so I can later skim and compare my design iterations. Option to cache last screen so when I take my skala outside my home WiFi I can still see my last screen. Illustrator artboard support, yes that would be amazing if I could stream selected artboard from illustrator, currently I have to do a lot of copy paste between illustrator and Photoshop.

Why do you limit a height of previewing screens to 1366*3x = 4098 px?

Works once in a while, spend a lot of time to connect, it looks simple to sync, but it's more complicated…

Using it with the Sketch plug-in. My problem is that it doesn't always sync. It says that it's connected, but whatever is on skala on my Mac isn't transferring to my phone. And when it does, it takes awhile because of reasons I don't know. For a moment I thought I was on Sketch mirror but hey I don't have an iPhone and I'm not connected to my mac by wifi network. So what gives? I assumed being connected by cable, data would be getting there pretty fast. Oh well. The intention is great, but execution....

Still having issues getting photoshop document to display, despite refreshing Photoshop Connection, and changing the remote connection username/password. Also, now if I drag a PSD into skala, which used to jumpstart the photoshop connection, I just get a black screen in my skala phone app. This app is great, when it works. Is there a way to contact you? It's showing up blank on long mobile designs, anything over 2000px in height.

Great app! Very useful for previewing designs on my phone.

Works perfect for Sketch!

I used to be a huge fan of Skala preview but now no more. After I bought Nexus 6 it works really really pathetically, can't increase the brightness the designs look really dull ... it really affects the work. Designs don't fit the screen either it will be small or it will exceed the screen size :(

Would be useful again when Skala will support Artboards on Photoshop CC 2015!

Doesn't work on Nexus 5 with Android M preview

Unable to connect to my MBP on a Nexus 5. Please fix this thing.

Great App, but it's not working on Android 6. Every time you try to preview a design the app crashes. Hope you guys fix it soon.
